Chapter six - I'm here for you

Perrie's POV

"Here we are," Jesy reminded me. It was another day, and Jesy had driven us to a casual date at Nandos. We both went inside and sat on a table for two. 

"I can't believe this is really happening. I never thought I would get to date you," Jesy told me. I smiled. "Well it's happening. And I never thought of dating a girl before. Jesy? If I date you, does it mean that I'm a l- lesbian now?" I asked worriedly.

Jesy smiled. "You've dated Lucas before. If you're dating me now, you're bi-sexual," Jesy explained. I nodded. "Oh." Well of course it is.

She saw the worried look on my face and smiled. "Being bi-sexual isn't a bad thing, Perrie. It's normal. And it's just that sometimes people hate how two people of the same gender like each other. I think that's pretty stupid. Every one is different," she comforted. I nodded and smiled. 

For the rest of the date, Jesy and I ate our Nandos and talked. By that time, I felt great. I've never gone to a date like this with Lucas. With Jesy, everything was perfect.

I didn't have to fake laugh, because Jesy has heard my real laugh before which is not that pretty. Lucas always thought girls should have a cute little laugh. He always thought that girls should wear dresses and female sorts of pants instead of tracksuits.

Jesy has seen the real side of me before and she is a girl herself, so I feel a bit more free.

Then finally, the great date at Nandos was over, so Jesy and I came back into our flat that we shared with the other girls.

"Hey where were you?" Leigh-Anne asked in front of the TV. "Nandos," Jesy replied. "As friends?" Jade almost said. But Leigh-Anne slapped her arm. Jade giggled. 

I went into the room that Jade and I shared and put my little handbag on my bed. I started to change. First, I took my jacket off. Then I took off my top.

Then suddenly, someone opened the door. I gasped. But it was Jesy. Good. But I was only wearing my shorts and my bra.

"Hey Perrie," Jesy greeted. She closed the room door and observed me with wide eyes. "Jesy I'm changing," I told her. She shrugged and smiled. "So what?" she asked. "You look hot."

Jesy walked over to me and started kissing me. "Jesy stop, I need to change," I said in between kisses. She didn't stop. She kept on kissing me. "Fine then," I giggled.

I put my arms around her waist and started kissing her back. But then the door opened without us knowing. Jesy and I kept kissing.

"Oh... my... gosh..." said a voice at the doorway. I immediately pulled away in shock and looked to see who was there. It was Leigh-Anne. Behind her, was a very surprised looking Jade.

Jesy and I blushed. Then came a very awkward silence. "Um so... you two were... just kissing... what, uh, are we missing out on something...?" Leigh-Anne asked. Jade's eyes were wide and her mouth was hanging low.

Jesy looked at me. I stared back at Jesy. And we explained to Jade and Leigh-Anne about us and how it happened. 

Thankfully, Jade and Leigh-Anne accepted our little relationship. "I knew this was coming!" Leigh-Anne confessed to us. "Same," added Jade. "And if you don't mind, can you please kiss again?"

Jesy turned to me and smiled with a tiny blush. I leaned forward and got us locked in another kiss. "AWWW!" Leigh-Anne and Jade said loudly.

I rolled my eyes in a joking way and let go of the kiss. Leigh-Anne and Jade were about to go away and leave Jesy and I alone when Jade stopped.

"Um... Perrie? Why are you only in your shorts and bra?" Jade asked me. Leigh-Anne smirked. "I guess we interrupted the little party they were about to start," she giggled.

I blushed. "Um, no. I was just changing," I explained. "Yeah, yeah... we'll let you get away this time," Jade teased.     

They headed away from the door followed by a blushing Jesy. Jesy observed me again as she was leaving. But I didn't notice.

I pulled my shorts down which only left me in a bra and underwear. I spotted Jesy still standing in the doorway with her wide eyes. She kept staring at my body.

I smirked. I love teasing people. But I walked over to Jesy and pushed her out of the room. I'm changing. Nothing else. 

Jesy's POV *A MONTH LATER*

Perrie and I are an awesome couple now. Everyone is accepting our relationship. Lucas wasn't seen again, but I know he would have got the news. But there's just one person. That person is Perrie's dad. He doesn't accept our relationship.

I keep telling Perrie that it's alright to have someone who doesn't accept you. But she keeps complaining that it's her dad. And he's not any person. He's a big part of her life. 

But Perrie and I are happy together right now. 

"Perrie, want to go down to the beach again?" I asked Perrie one morning. She smiled at me sweetly. "Sure. It's a good weather," she sighed.

She was lying down on her bed because she just woke up. This isn't hers and Jade's room anymore. Jade let me share the room with Perrie while she shares the room with Leigh-Anne.

I got up from my bed and pecked Perrie's lips. "Jesy! Morning breath!" Perrie whined jokingly. I giggled and breathed right in her face. Perrie gagged. 

"Should we go to the beach close by? Or the really empty one?" she asked me. "The empty one," I replied.

The empty beach is a beach were hardly anyone goes to. It's small, but the sea is big. Sometimes, the beach would be empty, leaving Perrie and I the only ones there. That's a good thing. For so many reasons.

I drove the two of us there after telling the other girls. When Perrie and I got out of the car, she took of her clothes. Underneath was her small black bikini. It was strapless and it fitted her perfectly.  

I sighed when I looked at her like that. She rolled her eyes and smiled back. "Why are you always the last one to change?" she asked me. I took off my clothes, revealing my blue and white spotted bikini underneath. I obviously wouldn't look as good as Perrie.

"Oooh you look hot!" Perrie squealed when she saw me. "You bought this for me. Credit goes to the buyer," I said.

She took my hand and held it. The silver bracelet I gave her was dangling down her wrist. "Perrie, you should take that bracelet off. It might get lost in the water," I warned her.

"I will never take this off," Perrie replied and kissed me. I smiled.

We held hands and walked down to the beach. We sat in the sand, just tanning, talking, and sharing a few kisses now and then.

"Can we go and swim?" Perrie asked me cutely after a while. "Sure!" I agreed. We both walked into the water, holding hands.

We just talked and got deeper into the sea, splashing each other with the salty water.

Suddenly, I stopped walking deeper into the water. So did Perrie. "What?" she asked me. I said nothing and smiled.

"Jesy..." she said slowly. I quickly pushed her down below the water and ducked down under the water myself. Surprisingly, we could both see each other, but not that clearly.

I pulled Perrie closer to me, sliding my hands around her waist and searched for her lips. When I found it, I kissed it passionately. Perrie kissed back and I could feel her smiling.

She wrapped her leg behind one of mine so that the sea couldn't move us apart. After a long while of kissing, Perrie and I bobbed our heads above the water, gasping for air.

"Woah that was fun," Perrie breathed. "Yeah," I agreed. 

The two of us went further down the beach sea. Then Perrie stopped and told me that she wanted to head back to the beach.

"Perrie, let's go deeper..." I told Perrie. She shook her head. "I don't want to get too deep. Plus, Jesy you can't swim. You shouldn't go that far," she said and smiled.

I shrugged. "Sure I can. I'll just keep my head above the water," I answered. I slowly paddled further down the sea until it got deeper.

"Jesy- please don't go more far," I heard Perrie's voice plead behind me. "It's fine," I called out.

But that was just when something touched my foot. It was a huge rock. "Ow," I said to my self. I managed to lift my foot up above the water. There was a cut on my ankle which was bleeding. Oh well. What was a rock doing here anyway?

I don't think any sea creatures would smell by blood from far away and come after me like in those movies.

I turned around to look at Perrie. She had her back towards me, but her head was bowed down. I think she was looking at the bracelet I gave her. 

Perrie looked perfect just standing there. Everything was so perfect about her. I decided to swim further, so I did. But then something else touched my foot.

At first I thought it was another rock. But it wasn't. A huge figure burst out of the water above me which almost caused me to drown.

I managed to keep my head up and look at what the figure was. Then I saw it. 

It was a huge shark.

I screamed. The shark saw me and swam hard towards me. And after that, I felt a pang of pain from my shoulder to my arm. And my vision went black.

Perrie's POV

"Ow," I heard Jesy say to herself. I turned around. Jesy was lifting her foot up above the water. She looked like a gymnast. I giggled.

Then I looked down on my wrist. A bracelet was there and I hope it wouldn't get lost in the water. The bracelet was something that Jesy gave me on our one month anniversary. It meant so much to me. The bracelet had Jesy and my signatures carved on it with "forever." I know, it sounds really cheesy.

 Suddenly, I heard a huge splash and a piercing scream. I gasped and turned around. Oh my gosh...

There, above Jesy, was a giant shark. It hit Jesy hard. "JESY!" I screamed. I swam towards her as fast as I could. That's when the shark bit her arm.

"JESY!" I yelled again and swam as fast as I could. The shark might have not liked Jesy's blood taste, because it straight away splashed back into the see and swam the other direction.

I continued trying to swim as fast as I could to Jesy since I she was so far away. Once I got to her, I was out of breath but Jesy was below the water and drowning.

I pulled her up and checked her heartbeat. It was still beating. Good. But the heartbeat was so slow. I shook her. "Jesy... wake up!" I cried, panicking. Her eyes were closed.

I gasped when I looked at her right arm. It was covered in blood. I grabbed her body and tried to swim as fast as I could to shore.

When I got there, I placed Jesy's body on the sand and started pushing her stomach to pump the sea water from her body out of her mouth. Only a little bit came, but not much. Jesy was still not awake.

"Jesy! Can you hear me?" I whined. I grabbed my phone from my bag I had and called for the ambulance. What a stupid idea to come at a beach with no people. But Jesy and I have been doing this together for a while.

After I talked to the ambulance people on the phone, they told me I had to wait until they arrive.

I put away my phone and stared at Jesy. She was peacefully lying down. I could hear her slow heartbeat, but she wouldn't wake up.

I hugged her tightly and kissed her lips. "Jesy, you'll be fine," I whispered to her, even thought she wouldn't be able to hear me. "I'm here for you."
