Chapter 17

{A/N: Media photo was taken by me when I saw Dierks in concert. That's the reasoning for the watermark}JJ's POVTonight is the concert and Emma couldn't be more excited. We decided to get someone to watch Landon because we're going to be late getting home.

I have connections with Dierks so we're getting to hang out with him backstage before and after the show and we get to stand stage side during the show. I looked down at Emma who was literally jumping with excitement. "Are you excited babe?" I asked with a chuckle. "Just a little." She said looking up at me with the biggest, happiest smile. We went in the door that Dierks told me to go in and followed a security guard. I could tell Emma was getting more excited the closer we got because i could feel her hand shaking in mine.

"This is y'all." The guard said once we got to the door. "You ready babe?" I asked. "Hell yes." She said. I let go of her hand and opened the door and we walked in. "JJ! My man!" Dierks said walking up. "What up dude!" I said shaking his hand.

Emma's POVI can't believe this is actually happening. I'm standing in the presence of Dierks freakin Bentley. I think I might pass out. Or puke. Or die. "You must be Emma. I've heard a lot of great things about you!" He said. "Yes! Um thank you!" I replied shaking his hand. "Dierks you're on in 5. We need to walk." One of the crew members said. "Let's go!" He said to us and we followed him. He had to go get in position so JJ and I stood side stage.

Eventually, all the lights went off and the crowd, including me, went wild. They started playing guitars, then the spot lights came on. Dierks came out singing 'Up On The Ridge' which is one of my favorite songs by him. After that, he sang 'Am I The Only One' and that was followed by '5-1-5-0' which is my absolute all time favorite song.

The show went on for about 2 hours and I enjoyed every second of it. JJ and I sang our hearts out to song like 'Somewhere On A Beach' and 'Freedom' and we slow danced to songs like 'Can't Be Replaced' and 'Why Do I Feel'. When the show ended we met Dierks in the back. We talked and laughed for a little while but then left to home to the baby.

"I'm so tired." JJ said as he flopped down on our bed. "Well, it is 1:00 in the morning and we danced and sang our hearts out for about 2 hours. So tired seem pretty legit." I said flopping down beside him. "Thank you." I continued. "For what?" He said turning to me. "Well, for starters, you made it possible for me to meet on of my favorite singers, you danced with me, and you sang every single song with me. If there was a husband of the year award, you would definitely win it." I said and he smiled big. "I love you." He responded. "I love you too. Now let's get some sleep." I said. He tired off the lamp then pulled me close as we drifted off to sleep~~~~~~~~~~~Y'all I'm soooooo sorry it's been like a zillion years since I've updated! But being and 9th grade and having to worry about which colleges you want your coach to contact to scout you is pretty stressful and I've also had the absolute worst case of writers block.

Also, this book will probably end in the next chapter that way I can focus on my Kris Bryant book and I'm also going to be starting a Kane Brown book once the KB one is close to done. Thank y'all so much for sticking with me and don't forget to like and comment!!
