Chapter 14

A/N: I know I'm late, but JJ's new shoes are out so if anyone wants to get them for me that would make me vv happy🙂

JJ's POV Emma and I barely got any sleep last night because the baby cried multiple times throughout the night and we took turns calming him down so we were both kind of cranky this morning. "Babe what do you want for breakfast?" I asked her. "I don't know." She said as she fed Landon his bottle. "Baby I know you're tired but you need to eat something. Do you want me to go get you something from McDonalds?" I asked as I rubbed her knee. "Sure." She answered. "Ok. I'll be back in a few minutes." I said. I kissed her forehead and then Lucas's before grabbing my keys and driving to McDonalds.

"I need to get a bacon egg and cheese McGiddle, the hot cakes and sausage, and 2 large sweet teas." I said to the cashier. "Alright. Your total is $8.66." She said and I handed her the money. "Excuse me." I heard from behind me. I turned around to see a woman and a little girl and the little girl had my jersey on. "Hi. My is Avery I'm 5 years old and I'm your biggest fan!" The little girl said. "Well Avery, it is very nice to finally meet my biggest fan." I said crouching down to her level. "Can I get yalls picture?" Her mom asked. "Of course!" I said. I pulled Avery closer to me and she smiled. Right when I stood up my phone buzzed. It was Emma asking where I was. "Well it was nice meeting y'all, but duty calls." I said. I got my food and started walking off when Avery's mom stopped me. "She really is your biggest fan. But we can't afford tickets to a game right now and..." She said and I cut her off. "Forget the tickets. The season starts in about 3 weeks. Here's my number. Come to some games and when you get there give me a call and I'll send someone to bring you in so you can sit on the sideline." I said giving her my number. "Thank you so much! Oh and I never properly introduced myself. I'm Amy." She said sticking out her hand and I shook it. "Don't think me. It's the least I could do for my biggest fan." I said smiling down at Avery. "I'll see y'all at some games?" I asked. "Yeah. Definitely!" Amy said and I smiled before leaving.

"Hey babe I'm back!" I said as I opened the front door. "I'm in the kitchen!" Emma replied so I walked in there and set the food down. "What took you so long?" She asked taking a bite of her McGriddle. "Well, after I ordered, a little girl with my jersey on and her mom came up to me and the little girl, Avery, told me she was my biggest fan and then we took pictures and then Amy, Avery's mom, said that they would love to come to a game but they can afford it so I gave her my number and told her to come to any game they wanted to and I would send someone to bring them to sit by y'all." I explained. "You know, you may look scary, but you're really just a big soft teddy bear." She said throwing her trash away. "Please never call me that again." I said in a fake whining voice. "I think it's hot though." She said walking toward me and I wrapped my arms around her waist and started showering her with kisses. I backed her up to the island and sat her on top of it as we continued kissing. I started to slip my hands up her shirt when she stopped me. "What?" I asked confused on why she stopped. "The doctor said no sexual activity for about a week." She said running her fingers through my hair. "We were just kissing though!" I pleaded. "JJ we both know that that kissing would have lead to more." She said and I agreed. "But you just wait. Next week, you're all mine." I said smiling and planting one more kiss on her lips.

"Look at this one." My mom said holding up a wedding dress. She came over to mine and JJ's to take me shopping for wedding dresses. "I don't like that one. Oh but I do love this one!" I said holding up a dress. "Sweetie that's beautiful! Go try it on!" My mom said pushing me towards the dressing room. I put in the dress and then walked out so my mom could see it. "This is it." I said with a big smile. "I was just about to say that." She said. I went back into the dressing room and changed out of the dress then we went and paid for it.

"Babe I'm home!" I yelled as I walked through the front door. My mom decided to go back home that way we don't take a chance on JJ seeing the dress. "Over here!" I heard JJ's voice come from the other side of the living room. I walked over there to see him sitting in a chair beside Landon's play pin that he was napping in. "What're you doin?" I asked giving him a kiss. "Admiring our handsome baby." He said with a smile. "Did you get a dress?" He asked standing up and carrying the chair back to the kitchen. "Yep." I said following him. "Can I see it?" He asked and I laughed. "Nope. Not till I start walking down that aisle." I said smiling and kissing him. "I bet you're gonna look sexy. But all that matters is how good that dress is gonna look on the floor in the house that I rented in the Dominican Republic." He said smiling and wrapping his arms around my wait. "Wait! We're going to the Dominican Republic for our honeymoon?!" I asked excitedly. "That's right babe." He said kissing me. "Shit I love you!" I said wrapping my arms around his neck. "Shit I love you too! Just think, in 2 weeks you're gonna go from Emma Crawford to Emma Watt." He said and I smiled before kissing him.

If someone would have told me 10 years ago I would be getting married to the man of my dreams, I probably would have laughed in their face.
