emilys pov

i got home early and walked up the stairs. the smell of alcohol wafts towards me from dannys room, i left her like i normally did now. i knew she would of been out last night, i got changed and walked down to dannys room to say i wasn't staying long, she was passed out on the ground. i walked over and picked her up with ease and placed her on the bed covering her. she was covered in scrapes and bruises from fighting i guessed. i left the house not waking her.

today was the day i was going to new York for my birthday tomorrow i got my bags and put them in the car driving to the airport. when i borded the plane i had a strange feeling in my stomach.

when the plane landed i was greeted by my friend pip who had flown here from new Zealand for my birthday "poop! i yelled running towards her jumping on her. "hey" she said smiling "are you ready for this!" i asked excited "yes Oh my God" she jumped up and down "come on lets go so we can go to the clubs!" she ran to the luggage pickup grabbing it and turning to wait for me. we got in the taxi and drove to our hotel. the whole way i was looking at all the buildings
