part 28

*two weeks later*

Emilys pov

i went into dannys room to see if she was going to school today, she haddnt been well lately or oing to school at all much since tony had gone without a single word and we could all see it taking its toll on her, none of us had heard from him we had tried ringing and texing him but we never heard back from him and he must of even deleted his facebook. "danny are you going to school today" i asked her "uh i might come later on" she mumbled and i left shutting the door quietly "emily can you wait ill be ready in a second" she yelled out behind the door "yup ill be downstairs" 5 minutes later danny walked downstairs her backpack slun over her shoulder her hair was in a messy bun and she hadnt put any makeup on. "ready" she said smilin at me and we walked off to school. we got to school early and went to the tree to meet the boys "hey guys, look who decided to come to school today" jaime said walking up to me hugging me "hey guys" danny said not bothering to look up "hey" they all said and we went to class i had art first period witch was good. at lunch jaime met me at my door and walked with me to the lunchroom to see vic and mike pulling danny off some girl i ran over to see wynnie spitting out blood lyin on the ground "what happened?" i asked "she said something to danny about tony and she lost it" vic said still holding on to danny "you fucking bitch" danny said kickin the girl again mike and vic pulled her away to our normal table as we sat down i could see the teachers come in and talk to wynnie and start walking over to us "miss i believe you have to come with us right now" they said and danny picked up her stuff and followed them out of the lunchroom "shes really taking it hard huh?" mike said with a mouthfull of food "yeah, she hasnt been doing much apart from sitting in her room and looking after smudge" jaime said looking at his lunch tray pushing it away "i hope shes okay" i said "she should be" vic said "shes a strong girl" i nodded.

the rest of the day went kinda slow i didnt see danny in my last class so i gathered she went home for the rest of the day, jaime drove me home and he was going to cook me dinner tonight and stay since his parents were away. "ill just go check on danny" i walked up the stairs and i could hear her crying i knocked on the door but she didnt answer i opened the door quietly, she was laying in the bed wearing tonys hoodie crying into smudge "danny whats wrong?" i knew it was a silly question but i had to ask, she hadnt realy talked much about any of this she had kind of just shut herself down "emily why did he do this to me? what did i do? what happened? am i a bad person? or did he just never love me, was this all a game i dont deserve this i really thought he was gonna be there for me forever but hes gone, just like he never existed" she started crying again "danny its gonna be okay, you have me okay turtle i love you we all love you" danny nodded not saying anything "i miss him em, i miss him like crazy" "i know, come down and eat something" she shook her head into the pillow "im not hungry" she whispered i patted her back "okay but make sure you have something okay turtle ill come back up soon" she nodded and i walked out going to the kitchen were jaime was cooking food, we ate while watching toy story and i went up to check on danny who was fast asleep i covered her with a blanket and headed off for bed.
