The next morning Athena woke up before everyone else like she always did and headed outside with her dogs for a morning run on the beach. The only other person up in the compound was Athena's mom Natasha. Athena got her early morning routine from her mom, and Aunt Yelena and years of being in the Black Widow Academy and Boarding School. Maverick and Sage ran at top speed down the beach while Athena kept up with practicing ease even while barefoot.

Back inside the compound Natasha heads to the kitchen to begin her morning with a large cup of coffee before she starts cooking breakfast. Right now Natasha is standing in the common room watching her daughter and dogs run when down the hall comes Pepper and in her arms Morgan. "AAAAAH!" Morgan squeals. "Athena's on the beach sweetie. She's running before breakfast. She'll back inside soon." Pepper said. Morgan just pointed at the window and squealed again clapping her hands with delight.

A few minutes later Athena and the dogs finished their run and they were back inside and Athena was back in her bedroom to shower and change. Hair still damp she walks into the kitchen in a pair of khaki cargo shorts, a soft blue t shirt, and barefoot. "Good morning Pepper, mama, and little screech owl." Athena greeted as she sat down next to Morgan's high chair. "Good morning Athena, how was your run?" Pepper asked. "Good, the dogs enjoyed it, they're downstairs eating." Athena replied with a smile. "How was your date?" Natasha asked. "It went good mom. Carol and I, we're taking things slow this time and it's working well. We do more honest talking about what we want and if we have a problem we discuss it instead of walking away." Athena replied as she plated up some scrambled eggs, toast, bacon, and a couple waffles.
