Back at the restaurant Carol and Athena were enjoying a lovely meal together and having a nice conversation about what they both want this time around. "So we're both in agreement on wanting kids in the future." Carol said as she sipped her wine. Athena nodded in agreement. "Yes. That is what we agreed on. However we have along way to go yet. I still need to know if you're going to stay or disappear on me again." Athena replied. "I have no intention whatsoever of disappearing again. And nor do I have any orders to do so." Carol said.

"Good." Athena said grabbing the check before Carol could even consider getting it. "I was—" "No, I've got it." Athena said cutting Carol off. "You're still insufferable, you know that."Athena shrugged and smirked as she put her card in the folder and passed it back to the waitress. "Well I'm paying for the movie then." Carol muttered as she grabbed her coat and readied to leave as the waitress came back with Athena's card.

Meanwhile back at the compound Morgan had been put down for the night and most of the adults had disappeared to their rooms as well. All that were up now were Natasha and Mia. Natasha was cleaning up the common room and Mia was watching silently. "You can go to bed you know." Natasha said. "I'm just waiting." Mia replied. "For?" Natasha asked. "To see if they come back." Mia said. Natasha arched an eyebrow at her. "Waiting for my daughter and Carol? They'll be back when they get here. Go to bed, sleep, forget trying to get my daughter's attention." Natasha stated dryly.

"I'm not trying to get her attention! I just think she can do better than Carol Danvers!" Mia snapped. "No! You're mad that you can't flirt with her! And you're mad that she doesn't show you any attention at all, and that is just eating you away inside and you can't get over yourself or the fact that my daughter has taste." Natasha hissed as she dumped what she had in her hands in the garbage bin, washed her hands and headed to the elevator to go down to her room.
