The visit to the Bartons was fun even with all the phone calls from Pepper because Morgan missed Athena. By the time they got back to the compound it was near midnight. Athena and Natasha slipped down the elevator with Maverick and Sage behind them. "Everybody's asleep, that's good. Go on to bed, unpack tomorrow morning." Natasha said. "Night mom." Athena said before ducking into her bedroom. "Good night sweetheart." Natasha whispered to the dark hallway before heading to her bedroom.

Later that morning around ten Athena was up and in the kitchen still in her sweatpants and hoodie, her once long red hair now cut shorter so it reacted on her shoulders. Aunt Laura had insisted that she get her hair cut, so Athena ended up sitting on a stool in the Barton's farm house kitchen letting her aunt cut her hair. Athena was in the process of making herself two breakfast burritos when she heard footsteps coming up behind her. "Oh Athena! Your hair looks incredible!" Wanda exclaimed as she floated into the kitchen. "Thanks Wanda, my Aunt Laura did it. Said my hair was way too long and then pushed me onto a stool and started hacking off my hair." Athena replied.

"It looks really good Athena, really. Laura did a good job." Wanda added as she poured herself some coffee. Athena nodded and continued cooking. "Our new recruit comes in soon, are you excited?" Wanda asked. Athena plated her burritos and turned to Wanda. "I guess yea." Wanda nodded and sipped her coffee, before she could respond though Natasha walked into the kitchen. "One of those for me?" Athena turned her head meeting her mom's eyes. "I suppose." "You suppose?" Natasha asked raising an eyebrow. "Yes, I suppose." Athena replied with a smirk. "Pass me a burrito child." Natasha said. Athena rolled her eyes, Wanda laughed and Athena passed a plate with a burrito on it to her mom. "Here mom, enjoy."
