On Christmas morning no one in the compound was allowed to sleep in, because Morgan was not allowing it. Athena stumbled out of her bedroom still in pajamas, hair in a messy bun, with Maverick and Sage came after her. "Who in the hell woke everyone up?" Athena groaned as she saw her mom. "Your goddaughter did." Natasha sighed. Athena groaned. "Of course she did. Is there anyway I can go back to bed without her noticing me?" Natasha wrapped her arm around her shoulders. "No can do darling. She'll notice that you're not there and then she'll scream and cry and I'll take her into your room and leave her with you."

Athena sighed as she walked into the living room, everyone was here sitting on the sofas around the Christmas tree. "ANT! ANT!" Morgan squealed loudly as Athena got closer. "Hey sweetie, are you ready to open presents?" Athena asked as she sat on the sofas next to her mom. "Ok! I'll pass out the gifts, then Morgan can start opening hers." Tony said. One by one piles began growing until everyone had piles of wrapped gifts in front of them. Morgan opened hers first, quickly sending paper all over the common room. When Morgan opened the basket ball hoop that Athena got her she let out screech that caused all the adults to cover their ears.

By the time everything was unwrapped and put away it was time for breakfast, which consisted of waffles, bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, and large cups of coffee. "Finally food." Athena said as she sat down in  a chair. "What time did Morgan wake up?" Wanda asked. "Three o'clock. I was in the middle of a nice dream too, when she let out a loud excited scream." Tony sighed. "Three o'clock! Holy crap!" Steve exclaimed. "Well she'll probably sleep later." Natasha said. "Yea, she'll probably fall asleep after breakfast." Pepper said as she cut up a waffle for Morgan.
