Authors note: I'm gonna do a small time skip in this next chapter, to move the story along so it doesn't feel stagnant.

As the time approached for Morgan's first birthday Athena had already over done it with gifts. And when everyone asked why, she simply shrugged and said 'Because she's my goddaughter and it's my duty to spoil her so when she gets a boyfriend, the poor boy can hear how Morgan is spoiled by her godmother.' Then Athena would walk away like nothing happened. Finally Morgan's first birthday came, the compound was decorated immaculately with balloons, streamers, and piles upon piles of presents.

Morgan had on a t shirt that said 'Birthday Princess turns one' along with leggings and a tutu. Peppe placed her in the high chair and everyone gathered around to eat the food that everyone helped cook. Athena sat down near her mom and her now serious girlfriend Lucy and immediately Morgan spotted her and began screaming like someone had ripped her favorite teddy from her hands. "Morgan it's ok Auntie Athena is right there." Pepper cooed to no use, so Athena got up and everyone rotated one seat to the left until Athena was next to Morgan's high chair. The screaming instantly stopped.

"Morgan eat your bananas." Pepper said. Morgan picked up a slice of banana and ate it before grabbing a green bean off Athena's plate and munching on that too. "Ok...rude." Athena grumbled halfheartedly. "You let her get away with it." Lucy teased. "You expect me to say no to that face? Really?" Athena asked looking at Morgan who smiled like she did nothing wrong. Lucy rolled her eyes. "Yea, ok I see what you mean." After lunch ended it was present time and then cake time and if Morgan Stark wasn't spoiled before, then she was definitely spoiled a hundred times over by the time her last gift was unwrapped.
