To say Lucy wasn't enjoying herself would be gravely understating how she really felt about a group paintball tournament. This was not what she had hoped for when she asked Athena out. She expected to go on date to a museum or something, lunch at a Chinese restaurant. But this. Paintball. With the whole team? No. Not her idea of a good date. Athena was in her zone once they got to the paint ball arena. "Ok! Mom and I are automatically team captains. I call Lucy because it's her idea." Athena said. "Bruce! You're on my team." Natasha said. "Parker." Athena called. "Clint." Nat said. One by one the team was broke into two teams. Nat's team had Bruce, Clint, Steve, Tony, and Wanda. While Athena's team had Lucy, Peter, Bucky, Valkyrie, Thor, and Shuri.

"Ok! Red team, Blue team when I blow this whistle you'll start. First one to take out everyone on the opposing team wins." The announcer said over the microphone. Athena's team huddled together in one corner, while Nat's team in the other. "We take them out as quickly as possible. I'll take my mother out personally." Athena said. "Got it!" Everyone chorused. As soon as the whistle went off Athena's team moved like a well oiled machine taking down one by one. Lucy didn't last long, she got shot in the chest quickly by Natasha and had to exit the room.

One by one each team's players got shot off until it was Natasha and Athena left. "I know you're in here my daughter." Natasha called out with a low chuckle. "I know. You know I'm in here. It's just us two left. How about you come out and let's end it?" Athena called back as she silently walked in between blow up obstacles. "Hell no! I'm not giving up! You come find me...and we'll see what happens!" Nat called back. Athena tiptoed around a large obstacle and found her mother with her back to her. "Got you." Athena said as she shot Natasha in the back. "Dammit! You learned that trick from your Aunt Yelena." Nat growled.
