Saturday morning rolled around and Athena woke up early and headed to the kitchen to make breakfast for everyone. She was making up a hearty breakfast with plenty of protein packed foods. She was in the middle of flipping pancakes when her mom approached her. "Pancakes?" Nat askesd. "Yes mama, pancakes. I figured it would be good to eat so we have energy to play paintball." Athena replied. Natasha raised an eyebrow at her daughter. "I thought it was just gonna be you and Lucy?" Athena turned to look at her mom. "Naw. I think she'll be less nervous if it's a group thing."

Natasha nodded in agreement. "You're probably right sweetheart, now move over I'm gonna cook the bacon." Rolling her eyes Athena stepped aside and passed her mom the large package of bacon. The bacon hit the hot pan with a loud sizzle and now both Romanoff's were cooking. Slowly the rest of the team emerged from their bedrooms making their way to the kitchen to see Natasha and Athena having a good time cooking in the kitchen. "Hey! Coffee's ready, juice is on the table, sit we've got pancakes, hash browns, scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, and bagels." Athena called out to the team.

"Breakfast for the gods!" Thor boomed as he sat down at the table. "Oi! Stop the yelling. It's too early." Valkyrie groaned. "Too much mead last night eh Val?" Athena teased. "Oi...shut up." Valkyrie replied flipping Athena the bird. Athena piled up some pancakes, scrambled eggs and bacon on Valkyrie's plate. "Here jerk, eat up." Valkyrie grinned. "Bless you Romanoff....your a girls best mate." Lucy walked out at that moment and saw Athena and Valkyrie teasing one another and something bubbled up inside her. Something she couldn't yet give a name to. "Ah newbie is up! Come sit Lucy! The Romanoff's made breakfast." Tony greeted. Pepper looked down at her plate. Nat and Athena made her some oatmeal, and buttered toast. Natasha said it would be easier to keep down with the pregnancy than everything else. "Looks good guys." Lucy said as she sat down opposite Athena at the long table.
