Athena and Natasha arrived to the compound late that night and silently headed to their rooms. "Go on get some sleep. I'm proud of you malen'kiy pauk (little spider)." Natasha whispered as she hugged Athena tightly. "Thanks mom...I love you too." Athena replied. After a minute they separated and went into their separate rooms for the night. Athena let Maverick and Sage outside so they could relieve themselves while she got undressed. Once the dogs were inside and settled down, Athena got into bed herself and relaxed into her bed.

In the morning she was up and in the training room with Natasha doing some basic exercises before their meeting with Maria and Fury later. "Are you excited to give your first report?" Natasha asked. "Oh yea, can't hardly wait." Athena replied her voice full of sarcasm. "Well get used to it sweetie, you'll be doing it after every mission." Natasha said as they finished their exercise and headed back to their rooms. The compound was still silent, only the two of them were awake this morning. It was like this most mornings in the compound. The mother, daughter duo would get up exercise together then go to their rooms to shower and get ready for their day.

In the time it took them to take their showers and get dressed the rest of the compound began waking up. Tony and Pepper were firs of the rest of everyone to get up and get ready for their day. Pepper showered quickly and headed to the kitchen to begin breakfast for everyone, while Tony took his time to shower and get his day started. After a little while everyone else was waking up and getting on with their day. Athena had just finished feeding her dogs when someone knocked on her door. "Come in!" Athena said. In walked Carol. "You're back!" Carol exclaimed as she rushed Athena pulling the taller woman into a hug. "Got back late last night." Athena said hugging her back. "I missed you. We all did." Carol said. "I missed everyone too." Athena replied smiling. "I'm glad you're back. Where's your mom?" Carol asked. "In her room probably. Or up in the kitchen." Athena replied. "Oh, well come on you need breakfast before you and her go give your report to Fury." Carol said as she dragged Athena out of her room and up the stairs.
