Cosmo had just finished setting out several treats and bowls of snacks, surrounded by pillows and blankets and other small trays around the floor when he heard the first few toons making their way to the assortment.

"Hey!!! Glad you could make it!"Cosmo shouted out with a smile as Astro walked in with Pebble, followed by Vee and Shelly.

Shelly seemed a bit shy, it's been a while since she was invited to one of these.

"Dandy is coming! Surprising I know, i convinced him."Astro cuddled up with Pebble on a distant bean bag, Pebble trying to snag a cracker but failing for he was being held back by Astro.

"More are coming."Vee said, immediately setting up a large speaker.

"Vee don't..."Shelly protested, holding back Vee's mic tail.Just then Sprout walked in with a few more toons.

After an hour or so finally everybody was there, except one.

Boxten was late.

Glisten sat on a pink satin pillow that he brought, carefully adjusting his eyeliner in a small folding mirror.

"Why are you applying make-up this late at night?"Rodger asked, slightly annoyed by Glistens constant need for cosmetics.

"So I can look good as long as everybody is awake!"Glisten pouted slightly and glared at Rodger.A few minutes go by and Boxten arrives, trying to stay low key but failing since he was last to arrive.

"S-sorry- guys- i had to do s-"

"Don't worry about it, nothing happened while you were gone, you're good!"Sprout reassured Boxten with a pat on the shoulder, handing him a cupcake.

Boxten happily accepted the treat.

He scanned around to room for available places to sit.Lucky (and unlucky) for him, the only spot was next to Glisten.Boxten hesitatingly sat next to the gleaming mirror.

"Hey Boxy!!"Glisten put down the mirror and eyeliner pen to greet Boxten with a hug.

Boxten blushed and turned away from the other toons, so they didn't see his true feelings for the other man.

"H-hey Glisten-!"Boxten hugged him back and smiled.Cosmo and Sprout caught the glance between Boxten and Glisten and both immediately knew.

They clearly knew.
