PART 83
21:25, 10 February 2025"No—" Sky began, but Nani cut him off. "Let him be, Sky. Just for now," Nani said, his voice firm despite the tremor of uncertainty in it. Zkay's smile widened at Nani's acquiescence. Sky sighed, defeated. "You're so kind, baby boy," Zkay murmured, his gaze lingering on Nani. Sky interrupted, rolling his eyes. "Stop calling him that. He has a name." Ignoring Sky's irritation, Zkay turned back to Nani. "So, Nani, you've really caught my attention. Can we be friends?" "Uh, alright," Nani replied, a hesitant agreement. Sky frowned, watching the exchange with growing unease. He sensed something was amiss, something far from innocent in Zkay's sudden friendliness. It felt like a carefully laid trap. "Thank you! I'll be the best friend you've ever had," Zkay said, his smile broadening as he reached for Nani's hand. But Sky intervened swiftly. "Ahem! I'm full. Let's go," Sky announced, pulling Nani to his feet and effectively ending the interaction.
