Tyler's POV

"Josh! Josh! Josh I'm here!" I said happily to him.

I hugged him tightly in that chair as tears of joy went down my cheek.

He didn't hug me back.

I looked at him. "Josh? Josh it's me, Tyler. You know, your boyfriend? Joshua? Joshua it's me!" I began to cry tears of sadness. "Jish..Jishwa. Please... Don't you remember me?"

He stayed silent for a bit as he looked to the floor. He blinked about twice and then spoke.

"Just as I was ready to forget all about you, you come barging in here after ten whole years. Heh, ten years. Do you know how much ten years is in this place? An eternity."

I looked at him confused. "What? Josh what are you talking about? I'm here now! We can leave! Come on let's go!"

He didn't budge. "I know you're here now. But you were too late. They've done so much to me in these last ten years that I don't even know what's wrong and what's right anymore. You think I didn't want to see you after all this time? I did. I was going crazy and insane because I missed you. I lost so much hope in that time. I was just about to forget completely about you. I guess I won't anymore."

I started to cry. "Josh I know you've been in this place for so long but look! I'm alive just like I said I would stay. I'm still in good shape and I never once forgot about you. Why are you acting like I never wanted to see you out of here? I killed people just to see you again."

He continued looking at the floor. "You shouldn't have done that Tyler. You don't deserve to be in here with me in this place. You're a good kid, you always were. The days you didn't believe in yourself, I believed in you. I'm just so tired and weak of this place. They've drained me of so much of my power. I want to say I'm happy to see you but I feel no emotions anymore. My senses are dull."

I put my hand on his cheek. "No don't say that please. You don't have to feel anything right now. But I have a plan to get you out of here. Come on, you need to come back home with me." I tried to unstrap him but he still wouldn't budge.

"They don't want me back there Tyler, don't you understand?"

"Who? The guards?"

"The townsfolk. My former friends and classmates. My neighbors. My family. They know what I am and they don't ever want me in their town anymore. Our hometown's in the dark if I go back there. I rather stay in here and go through the pain. Please Tyler." he told me weakly.

I cried a little more. "No, don't say that either Joshua. We'll think of a way to get you back there. I have a plan. Trust me."

"I don't know who to trust anymore."

"Trust me Josh. All my life you've been my side and helped me through tough situations and I think it's time I help you. We may have been apart for ten years but I still love you. I never stopped loving you. You're still my boyfriend who I have to take care of. You're in weak health and I'm going to make sure we get you out of here safely and get you back to one hundred."

He looked up at me and for the first time in forever, those mocha eyes met with mine. I felt a million memories go through my head at that very moment.

He smiled. "You haven't changed a bit since I last saw you. Still the same old kind warm-hearted kid from third grade."

"And you're still the cute blue-haired boy I fell for that same day."

I leaned in and kissed him passionately on his lips.

It had been so long since I tasted them. They were warm. I enjoyed those four seconds.

I hugged him and he finally hugged me back.

"Come on Josh. We gotta get you home now." I told him as he slowly got up from the chair.

"We? Who is we?" he asked.

A red mist came forming in front of us as the silhouette of a person appeared. Red glowing eyes with the dark neck and hands, red beanie and same old crooked smile.

I believe the "we" you're looking for is right here, Mr. Joshua Dun.
