Zelda's POV:
"She told me that the Spring of Wisdom will likely be my last chance to unlock my power," I told him. Link and I left Kakariko Village in the afternoon and were headed to Sanidin Park. "Impa seems to grow more fearful of the Calamity each time I see her... I don't want to let her down."
Link rode next to me on Epona and said nothing, but he was listening.
"I too grow more apprehensive as the days go by," I said. "I wonder, if not prayer and dedication, what will unlock my power? I can only hope I will find out before it's too late... Maybe if I could just take my mind off of it a little bit- maybe I could indulge in some research to relieve my stress."
I sighed. I was already crumbling under the pressure I felt from the whole kingdom- I wasn't sure that I could take another disappointed scolding from my father. He would not be pleased.
"I've always been told, 'Zelda, you're the beacon of light Hyrule needs!' I seem to doubt that more and more each day..."
Link moved Epona close to Storm and reached out, placing his hand over mine. I met his gaze and he said nothing, but he nodded at me. The simple gesture calmed my nerves down greatly. He didn't even have to speak to make me feel better. His presence comforted me.

We arrived at the park hours later. I loved visiting there- it was peaceful and the views were beautiful.
Link and I spoke for a few minutes about everything that just transpired before I told him about my plans to visit the Spring of Wisdom.
"Tomorrow is my seventeenth birthday," I told him quietly. "which means I can finally visit the Spring of Wisdom. I can only hope that this one, the last one, will unlock my power."
Link walked up and stood behind me quietly. I breathed out and leaned back against him.
"We will leave in the morning," he said behind me.
"Do you think it will work?" I whispered, almost pleading.
Link didn't say anything. He just reached around and squeezed my hand. I sighed and made a silent prayer to Hylia that I would finally bear the fruits of my dedication.
"Let's return to the castle," I said. "We should get a good night's sleep before making our way up the mountain."
So, Link and I mounted our steeds and headed back to my home.
