A dishonest idea

Chat had been meeting up with Marinette for a while now, and only Marinette.  She has been a vEry gOod fRIenD to him, and they love to play games, and eat a lot of bakery goods.  

well... Chat likes the baked goods.  Mostly just Chat...

Okay... A little too carried away... Let's get back to the story... The point is, Marinette and Chat are best friends, and she is the only friend Chat had while he was in suit.

He visits her house every other night.  They do everything together.  She even helps him with his family  problems, croissant addiction, and more.

One day, while Chat was on patrol, he waited anxiously on the Eifel Tower, dangling his feet at the edge.  He was just enjoying the view until

"BOO!"  

"HOLY CROISSANTS!" Chat yelled as he tripped of the tower.  He was about to fall off, but Ladybug grabbed his tail just in time before he would've splattered onto the cement.  "Wow? Jumpy much?" Ladybug said, with a hint of playfulness in her voice.  

"I would've landed on my feet anyway!" Chat said in defense.  Ladybug rolled her eyes.  "I know we're on the good side being superheroes and all, but sometimes you make me want to push you off this roof."  Ladybug said.

"Hey!"  Chat said, both laughing in response.  They sat as the laughter died down and stared at the parisian sky. 

Despite the mysteries and beauty of the night, Chat couldn't help but stare at his lady.  He loved her so much, but she her heart was already stolen.  Oh what he would give to win her love. He would treat her just like the wonderful bug she is, but she just had to love another.

Chat thought and thought.  How can he catch a bug like her?  Should he cover himself full of flowers?  Should he paint his suit to be red and black?  Not like he hasnt before...

Chat thought of so many ideas and possibilities, but only one made the light bulb go off.  He was going to make Ladybug jealous, and he knew exactly how.

"Hey M'lady!  You know, I visit many girls' houses every night."  Chat said trying to sound as convincing as possible.  He cringed at the sentence, the goal was to make her jealous, not imply that he was some type of playboy!  He knew this was lying, but how else could he make her jealous?  It was kind of true, he did see a girl, but only one girl who's name is Marinette  "But there is one girl  who is one of my best friends.  I don't want to lie to her."  Chat said.  Ladybug's eyes widened.

"I think I want to tell her my Identity."  Chat said.  Moving his gaze to his lady, filled with hope and determination, but what he saw was kind of scary.  "WHAT!"  Ladybug said full of shock.  "First of all, how many girls have you been visiting?  And why would you want to risk that?!?!"  Ladybug said.  She knew he was her partner and all, but now her control of not throwing him off the Eiffel Tower was balancing on a tooth pick!  She was feeling a mixture of nervousness and anger. 

Chat smiled at her reactiin.  "Why are you so nosy about this?  Are you jealous?"  Chat asked.  Ladybug took in a deep breath.  

"How.  many.  girls."  Ladybug's tone was serious.  Chat didn't know what to say.  He said a random number.  "52?"  Chat said.

"Chat."  Ladybug said.  "Promise not to freak out, but,"  Ladybug paused.  "I am one of those 52 girls."  Ladybug said, coming out as a squeak.  Chat's eyes widened.  He didn't expect that.  Maybe she was only saying that to make him stop, come on, there was a reasonable explanation for this.  Though, she wouldn't lie yo him, right?  But if she was telling the truth, the that would mean...

Ladybug=Marinette.

Chat was so HAPPY.  He wanted to flip off the Eifel tower, but then he remembered.

He lied to her.
