Nine

Everyone turned around to see Shadow, the main subconscious worker. He held up a blaster gun. "Don't move any farther!" Everyone faced torward him, and the man who brought them here stood in front of them. "Ah, Jacob, returning in another mind?" Shadow said. Jacob shook his head. "Doesn't matter, cause I'm gone!" He threw down a green bomb, making black smoke surround them. They all opened their eyes. "He can't see us, get Joy!" Jacob shouted, pointing at Joy. Disgust and Tech got the mouth, while Anger, Fear, and Sadness got the ropes. Once Joy was free, Jacob looked up. "Perfect!" He said, throwing down another portal bomb. "Go!" He shouted. "But Jacob, you coming?" Sadness asked. He shook his head. "Can't, neither can Tech." Everyone looked at her. She sighed. "Fine." She said, leaning against the wall. "Now go!" Jacob shouted. Everyone jumped through the portal, landing safely back in headquarters. "Well, there." Fear said, right when everything glowed. "Wait, what's going on." Everything started ringing and the glow flew brighter. A few minutes later, the glowing and ringing stopped. Everyone ran up to the control pad. It seemed normal. Everyone saw Riley wake up, but in her home. Everyone was in complete shock. "Wha-what happened?" Fear asked. Disgust gasped. "Guys, this is great!" She shouted. "Everything is back to normal!" Everyone looked at each other and gave each other hugs. It was amazing to be reunited. "We are never going to be apart again." Joy said. "From now on, we stay in headquarters."
