The seminar hall buzzed with chatter as the students poured out, relieved the long speeches were over. Nani was among them, phone in hand, fingers flying across the screen.

Ni: P'Jimmy, Chiang Mai was perfect. Also...I'm about to become Cupid. Phi Est is totally blushing around William. Just wait until graduation, I'll have them married already.

Jimmy's reply came fast:

Jimmy: Don't cause trouble. But send me updates, I need gossip to survive work here.

Nani giggled softly, hiding his smile behind his hand, ignoring most of the long, drawn-out lectures that still carried on at the front.

When the seminar ended, the top students were called up to meet the guests. Nani joined them gracefully, his posture straight, that natural charm radiating from him without even trying.

The government officials were polite enough, but the FBI agent seated in the center stole all the attention-Ohm Pawat. Renowned for his sharp mind, impossible cases he'd cracked, and the discipline that made even politicians respect him.

And yet... his eyes lingered only on Nani.

From the moment Nani stepped closer, Ohm's gaze followed him-not with arrogance, but curiosity. Admiration. Something he couldn't quite explain. His colleagues noticed, exchanging discreet smirks.

When it was Nani's turn to be introduced, Ohm leaned forward slightly, his voice warm, "So you're Nani Hirunkit. Top of your year, right?"

Nani offered a polite smile, bowing his head just a little. "Yes, sir. But I still have a long way to go."

Their short conversation stretched longer than anyone else's. Ohm asked about his studies, his plans after graduation, his opinions on law reforms. Nani answered with calm intelligence, his tone respectful yet charming, and Ohm found himself listening more closely than he had to anyone in years.

By the time it ended, Nani excused himself with a bow and walked away with the other students. His soft laughter with his friends trailed behind.

Ohm sat still, strangely restless. That face, that voice, that presence-it wouldn't leave his mind. It was as if something had been engraved into him.

Beside him, his colleague Chimon nudged him with a knowing grin.

"Careful, agent. You look like you just found your favorite case."

Ohm huffed out a small laugh, trying to brush it off, but his eyes drifted once more to where Nani had been.

And in that moment, he knew-he wouldn't forget him.

As the hall emptied and chatter faded, Ohm remained seated, his eyes fixed on the doors Nani had walked through moments ago. He exhaled slowly, pressing his fingertips together as though piecing through a case.

He'd met hundreds of prodigies, shaken hands with politicians, scientists, heirs of dynasties. But this was different. Nani Hirunkit. The name alone carried weight, and yet the boy himself... was disarming. Intelligent, but not arrogant.Poised, but warm. That rare blend of grace and fire that couldn't be taught.

"Ohm." Chimon's voice broke his thoughts. His friend smirked, leaning lazily against the table.

"Don't tell me you're still thinking about that kid."

Ohm's jaw tightened. "He's... unique."

"Unique?" Chimon chuckled, his tone teasing but not unkind. "I've seen you interrogate criminals with colder eyes than that. Don't tell me the untouchable agent Pawat has a soft spot."

Ohm ignored the jab, but his mind wouldn't quiet. He recalled the sharpness in Nani's answers, the way his dark eyes didn't flinch under pressure, the unbothered charm in his smile. He remembered how even surrounded by power, the boy acted like the room belonged to him.

It had been years since something-or rather, someone-etched itself this deeply into his memory.

"Unique,โ€ he repeated under his breath, a faint, almost amused smile tugging at his lips.

Ohm straightened his suit, grabbing the files in front of him. He shouldn't dwell on it. And yet as he walked out, his steps were heavier than usual, his chest uncomfortably tight.

Because even though he was supposed to leave the seminar behind him, he already knew he wouldn't forget Nani.

The underground floor of Wongravee Enterprises buzzed with the sound of crates shifting and tape sealing. The fluorescent lights reflected off polished metal, casting everything in a sterile glow. When the elevator chimed open, the atmosphere shifted instantly. Workers straightened, their movements sharper as Sky stepped out, his presence like a blade slicing through the air.

Bodyguards flanked him, silent and watchful.

He walked the length of the warehouse with measured steps, eyes flicking across the shipment lines of liquor and elite drugs being packed into wooden crates bound for ports overseas. When the heavy steel door to his private office opened, he entered and sat down at the head of the table, leaning back against the leather chair.

Four men stood before him. Their leader, Sam, cleared his throat, voice low but tense.

"Boss, two of our shipments are missing."

The room froze. Sky's gaze sharpened, his tone flat, deadly.

"Is this why I keep you around? To tell me what I already know? You understand how much those containers cost-bring. my. drugs. to me."

Sam exchanged a glance with the others, swallowing. "Boss... that's the problem. There's no trace of them."

Sky's knuckles curled against the armrest, jaw tightening. "The fuck do you mean there's no trace? Start talking."

"Everything was going as planned. Shipment came in from Moscow branch, under Rainbow's oversight. RED was in charge, like always. The containers were scheduled to be taken to the border-Thailand's side. RED was there waiting. But... nothing came."

The men shifted uneasily under Sky's silence. Sam pressed on.

"RED waited until dawn. He sent his men searching. They found the containers... abandoned, far from the border. Empty. RED went himself to confirm-they were definitely our products."

Sky leaned forward now, hands steepled under his chin, expression unreadable except for the storm brewing in his eyes."And the Turtles? The were responsible for the delivery."

Sam's throat bobbed. "We contacted them. They claimed their men are missing. Still trying to locate them."

The silence stretched, suffocating. The only sound was the faint hum of the air conditioner. Then Sky let out a slow exhale, running his hand through his hair before snapping his eyes back at them.

"Fine. Contact the Rainbows. I want RED in Bangkok. Tell him to bring back my drugs-personally."

The men nodded quickly, relief flooding their faces as they rushed out to carry out his command.

Sky remained seated, elbows braced on the table, fingers pressed against his temple. His fury wasn't loud-it was cold, precise. The kind that didn't flare out, but waited, calculating. Because in his world, missing shipments meant betrayal. And betrayal meant blood.

The night in Bangkok was quiet, the city's hum softened by the late hour. Est had slipped out of Hirunkit Mansion after dinner, saying he wanted some air before the long week of competition. He walked through the courtyard absentmindedly scrolling on his phone, not expecting to see anyone.

But there was William-leaning against his black car, cigarette between his fingers, suit jacket draped carelessly over one arm. The streetlight painted his bruised knuckles in shadow, the ones Nani had bandaged days ago.

Est froze mid-step.

"...Phi William?"

William glanced up, almost amused. "You're out late." His voice was casual, but his eyes lingered, a little too sharp for Est's comfort.

Est scratched the back of his neck, suddenly awkward. "I... couldn't sleep."

William tilted his head, letting the smoke drift upward before crushing the cigarette under his shoe. "Insomnia, or just nerves before competition?"

"Both, maybe," Est admitted, cheeks faintly warm. He hated how obvious he sounded, but something about William's stare stripped away all his usual composure.

For a moment, William didn't say anything. Then he stepped closer, the faint scent of scotch and smoke clinging to him. "You should be careful wandering alone at night, Est."

Est blinked up at him, caught off guard by the low concern in his tone. "Are you... worried about me?"

William gave a small, almost dangerous smile. "Maybe."

Est's heart skipped, and he quickly looked away, pretending to study the pavement. "I'II... keep that in mind."

There was a silence, heavy with things unsaid. William finally opened the car door but paused, glancing back at him once more.

"Goodnight, Est."

Est nodded, pulse too quick. "...Goodnight."

The engine roared to life, but even after the car disappeared down the street, Est found himself still standing there, hand pressed to his chest, wondering what exactly just happened.
