17:39, 5 September 2025The moment Nani stepped into the base, the air felt heavier, thick with unease. Something was wrong. His sharp eyes immediately landed on Prim-Sky's usually composed assistant-standing near the corner, trembling like a leaf caught in a storm.
Nani's heels clicked against the floor as he walked further inside, only to freeze at the sight before him.
Two men knelt on the ground, their hands bound tightly behind their backs. Their faces were unrecognizable-swollen and bloodied, one man's eye completely shut, the other barely conscious. The metallic tang of blood lingered in the air, and the faint sound of their ragged breathing filled the silence.
Sky. Sitting in the chair before them, his shirt sleeves rolled up, his knuckles raw and stained crimson. His breathing was steady, too steady, as if the storm inside him had already passed-but the look in his eyes told a different story. A cold, merciless rage burned there, something far darker than the gentle calm he usually carried.
Nani's chest tightened. He had grown up seeing glimpses of this world-of punishments, interrogations, the ugly shadows that came with their family's power. He wasn't afraid of it. But what made him swallow hard was seeing Sky like this.
Sky rarely lost control. He was always the protector, the shield, the calm in every storm. But when he did snap he became something worse than a monster.
Nani didn't move any closer. He just stood there, his back straight, eyes fixed on Sky as if searching for the man he knew beneath the mask of cold fury.
The room was silent except for the labored breaths of the two broken men on the floor. Even Prim dared not make a sound.
Nani had seen this side of the world before-unpleasant scenes tucked away in corners where outsiders never looked. He wasn't sheltered, no matter how many thought him delicate. Blood, violence, punishment... none of it truly shocked him anymore.
But Sky?
Sky was supposed to be untouchable.Unshakable. His calm presence had always been the anchor that made Nani feel safe, wanted, cherished. He was the one who smoothed storms with a single glance, who held Nani close when the world was too loud.
Yet now, that same man sat with bloodied fists, his chest rising and falling in eerie control, eyes glinting with a rage that promised nothing but destruction.
Nani swallowed, feeling the weight press against his ribs.
This wasn't fear of the violence itself. It was the realization-sharp and unsettling-that Sky wasn't simply capable of protecting him. He was capable of ruining.
And for the first time, Nani wondered not what Sky would do for him, but what he would do because of him.
Sky's head turned slowly, his sharp gaze landing on Nani. The monster-like coldness in his eyes flickered, softening just enough to recognize the one person who could reach him. Without a word, he gave a small tilt of his chin-follow me.
Then, in a voice calm but laced with steel, he told his men, "Take care of them."
The command was final. The groans of the broken men behind didn't matter anymore.
Sky walked toward his office, the heavy silence of the base parting for him like waves.
Nani's heels clicked softly as he followed, not once hesitating, though the weight of what he had just witnessed clung to his chest.
Inside the office, the atmosphere shifted. It wasn't lighter-just more private. Sky lowered himself onto the large couch, leaning back, spreading his legs in a silent invitation, no-a demand. His eyes never left Nani's.
Nani didn't speak. He didn't need to. Without hesitation, he crossed the room, slid gracefully onto Sky's lap, and settled against him as if this was where he had always belonged.
Sky's bloodied knuckles brushed against Nani's waist as his arms encircled him, pulling him close. The tension in his body was still there, simmering beneath the surface, but now it was caged-kept within his embrace.
And Nani... obeyed in silence. Because when it came to Sky, he always did.
Sky pulled Nani closer until there was no space left between them. His face buried itself against the curve of Nani's neck, breathing him in-slow, deep, greedy breaths.
The faint sweetness of Nani's scent filled his lungs, grounding him in a way nothing else ever could. The storm in his chest began to ebb, soothed by the one thing that had always calmed him when nothing else could.
A low sigh escaped his lips, hot against Nani's skin. Then, slowly, Sky began trailing wet kisses along the delicate line of his neck. Each one unhurried, reverent, but heavy with possession. His lips moved lower, tasting the soft skin of Nani's collarbone.
Nani shivered, tilting his head ever so slightly to give him more room, more access. Sky's grip on his waist tightened, fingers pressing into him like a silent claim.
Sky's lips crashed against Nani's like a storm breaking loose, all fire and hunger, no mercy. Nani whimpered into the kiss, clutching at Sky's shirt, but it only fueled him more. His tongue forced its way inside, claiming every inch, biting Nani's lips until they were raw, swollen, perfect.
With a fist tangled in Nani's hair, Sky yanked his head back sharply, exposing his throat. Nani gasped, lips parted, pupils blown wide with submission. He tried to chase Sky's mouth, desperate for more, but the restraint only made his body tremble.
Sky stared down at him, breathing heavy, eyes dark with something feral. This-this sight of Nani undone, obedient, trembling for him-was maddening. It made Sky want to destroy and worship him at the same time.
His tongue dragged up the column of Nani's throat, hot and wet, until it reached his lips again. But he didn't kiss him-he hovered, teasing, savoring the torment.
"Open your mouth," Sky growled, his voice a command carved from fire.
Nani obeyed instantly, lips parting, the need in his eyes almost painful.
"Wider."
The word was sharper this time, an edge of warning in it. Nani's mouth opened further, trembling breaths escaping him.
Sky leaned in, gaze locked, and spit into his mouth. Nani shuddered, the heat of humiliation mixing with the sweetness of surrender, his body trembling against Sky's .
Before he could even breathe, Sky crushed their mouths together again, feral and consuming. His tongue shoved deep, tasting the mixture, owning him completely. It wasn't just a kiss-it was domination, a claim carved into flesh and soul.
Sky devoured Nani's mouth until his lungs burned, until he was gasping against swollen lips. His grip on Nani's hair loosened only to slide down and grab his throat, firm but not choking, just enough to make Nani tremble in his hold.
"You belong to me," Sky muttered against his lips, his breath hot, his tone more like a vow than a reminder. His other hand slid under Nani's shirt, palm rough against smooth skin, fingers digging possessively into his waist.
Nani moaned softly, arching closer, one leg instinctively curling over Sky's thigh. The gesture made Sky groan low in his chest, grinding their bodies together until Nani could feel just how undone he was making him.
Sky's mouth moved again, tracing a wet path down his jaw, sucking and biting at his neck, not stopping until a deep, dark bruise bloomed just above his collarbone. He leaned back to admire his mark, eyes burning.
"You'll wear this for me," he said, thumb brushing over the hickey almost reverently before his lips descended again-sucking harder, leaving more marks, each one a brand of ownership.
Nani's head tipped back, his breath shaky.
"Sky..." His voice was almost pleading, soft and spoiled, the way only he could sound. The sound made Sky snap-his hands slid lower, gripping Nani's thighs, hauling him up so he straddled Sky's lap fully. Nani gasped, clutching at his shoulders, his shirt slipping slightly as Sky pressed him down against the hard line of his body.
Sky's lips claimed his again, hot, rough, endless. He ground their hips together, swallowing Nani's moan, his fingers kneading those thighs like he'd never let go. Pulling back only for air, his forehead pressed to Nani's as he whispered in a low, dangerous voice:
"Even if the whole world turns against me... I'll still keep you like this. Mine. Always mine."
Theerapakyun estate was quiet, heavy with the kind of silence that followed storms. In Sky's room, the dim glow of the lamp spilled across the bed. Nani leaned back against the headboard, his body a calm anchor, while Sky lay pressed to his chest, face buried, arms wound tight as though letting go meant shattering.
When Nani finally asked, his voice was soft. "Those guys... what did they do?"
Sky's breath stilled. For a moment he didn't answer, but then he shifted, eyes burning with a storm that hadn't yet passed.
"They betrayed me. Betrayed everything." His voice was low, controlled but raw underneath."They went after one of our own. Raped and killed his girlfriend. Then left him broken in my office this morning, begging me for justice. And they did it without me. Without my word. As if loyalty doesn't mean anything."
His jaw tightened. "Loyalty is sacred. It's the one thing that keeps us alive in this world. And they spat on it. On me. On everything."
Nani listened, silent. He felt the weight of Sky's anger, the blade of betrayal still sharp inside him. But Nani didn't speak words of judgement, didn't tell him what he should or shouldn't have done. Who was he to say what was right in a world like Sky's? He wasn't God.He couldn't forgive sins, couldn't hand out punishments or absolution. That wasn't his place.
All he could give was love.
So, Nani let his hand drift slowly through Sky's hair, let his touch soften the edges of rage.
"I'm here," he whispered simply, because that was all Sky ever needed to know.
Sky closed his eyes, breathing deep against Nani's chest, and for the, first time that night, his body eased."Don't ever leave me, Nani." The words were low, raw, more a plea than a command.
Nani smiled faintly, pressing his chin into Sky's hair. "I'd never dare. You'd chase me to the end of the world."
Sky tilted his head just enough to meet his eyes, smirking. "Damn right I would."
Nani chuckled softly, brushing his fingers over Sky's temple. "Sometimes I wonder... are you obsessed with me or just addicted?"
"Both," Sky said without hesitation, his lips brushing over Nani's collarbone. "And don't act like you don't like it."
Nani rolled his eyes, though the corners of his mouth tugged upward," you're impossible."
Sky finally let out a small laugh, the sound rumbling against Nani's chest. "And you're mine."
"Possessive as ever," Nani teased, poking his cheek with a slender finger.
Sky caught his wrist in one swift move and pressed a kiss to Nani's palm, his gaze dark but softened. "And don't forget it."
Nani's heart clenched at the tenderness hidden beneath all that steel. He leaned down, brushed his lips against Sky's forehead, and murmured, "As if I ever could."
Nani felt the steady rise and fall of Sky's chest against him, the storm in his lover's heart finally beginning to quiet. He kept stroking his hair in slow circles, whispering little nothings, letting silence fill the gaps where words could never reach.
Soon, Sky shifted, tugging Nani down with him until they lay tangled on the mattress. His arms locked around Nani's waist, holding him too tightly, as though the night might steal him away.
"Sleep," Nani whispered, brushing a kiss to his temple.
Sky only hummed, burying his face against Nani's neck, breathing in like he was air.
Nani smiled faintly, one hand sliding up Sky's back in a soothing rhythm. "Clingy," he teased softly.
Sky didn't bother opening his eyes. "Only with you."
The words settled warm and heavy in Nani's chest. He pressed his lips to Sky's hair, his own eyes fluttering shut.
Wrapped in each other, they drifted off, the world outside momentarily forgotten. For tonight, there was no betrayal, no blood, no weight of power-only Sky's desperate hold and Nani's quiet promise to never let go.
