The next day....
•AT SCHOOL•
I'm really excited for today. For some reason I'm really looking forward to finally going to Jace's house.
I go straight to my locker. Right before I open it Mindy walks up to me.
"Hey Samantha."
Wow, she finally said my name right.
"Hey." I greet bluntly.
"Wanna hang out tonight?" She asks while rolling her eyes.
I laugh. "Nope. Why would I want to hang out with a rude person like you? Besides, I already have plans." I shrug.
Mindy glares at me and then breaks into laughter. "You actually thought I wanted to hang out with you? You're so dumb. It was a prank. April fools!"
I flare my eyebrows. "It's not even April."
"That's why it's funny," Mindy smiles while chewing her gum a little to hard.
I roll my eyes and walk away from her.
I swear that girl says the dumbest things sometimes. I'm glad Billy and her aren't friends.

Today is the night of me and Sam's 'date'. Honestly, I didn't want to help Sam out with her date with Billy. I think Billy is secretly dating Mindy and I wouldn't want them to hurt Sam.
But, I just couldn't bring up enough courage to tell Sam no. Hopefully, Billy and Mindy's kiss at the park meant nothing and they're just friends.
I walk into math class and sit next to Sam. I turn to her and smile. She smiles back and then looks at our math teacher. She passes back our math tests that we took the other day.
Once I get mine, I'm shocked. I got a B+.
"Psssst Sam." I whisper.
She looks at me and I hold up my test. She smiles and gives me a thumbs up trying not get in trouble.
She turns back around I quietly pull my phone out of my pocket. I text Sam.
J: Jace and Sam hate Math and want all their teachers to die eating ass
I hit send and Sam's phone goes off. Ms. Madison stops talking and turns around and looks at the class.
"Whose phone just buzzed?"
Sam slumps in her seat and Ms. Madison walks over to her and puts her hand out. Sam pulls out her phone and puts it in Ms. Madison's hand.
Ms. Madison hands it back to Sam. "Read the message out loud if it's so important."
Sam glares at Ms. Madison "But I don't know who-
"Read the message Samantha Johnson."
Sam unlocks her phone and reads the message with wide eyes. She turns my way and glares at me. I smile.
Sam takes a deep breath. "It says, Jace and Sam hate math and want all their teachers to die eating ass."
I hold in my laughter while everyone else chuckles away. Ms. Madison grabs Sam's phone and glares at me.
"Samantha and Jace you now have detention." Ms. Madison says sternly.

I sit next to Jace in a room full of delinquents. I've never had detention ever in my life so I'm literally shaking right now.
We've been in detention for over an hour now so I've did all of my homework. I stare at the clock waiting for it to say 5:15.
Jace pokes my arm. I turn to him and give him a fake smile. He runs his fingers through his hair and winks at me, forcing me to let out a small laugh.
Ms. Madison looks up from her book and glares at me. I smile at her. She rolls her eyes and goes back to reading her book.
I sigh. I've never been on a teachers bad side before. It actually feels kinda cool.
What am I saying?
I'm a good girl who always does good things, nothing less.
The clock hits 5:15 and Ms. Madison dismisses us.
I go to my locker and grab all my stuff. Jace and I walk out of school and towards his car.
Jace nudges my shoulder. "How was detention?"
"Horrible. I never wanna experience that again. Why would get us detention anyways?"
Jace laughs. "I only did it because I knew you'd never do it yourself."
I roll my eyes. "Oh, that was one of your first experience test things."
Jace grins. "You guessed it."

•SAMANTHAS HOUSE•
I get out of Jace's car and walk to my door. Before I unlock the door I turn to Jace's car.
Jace winks at me. "Pick you up at 8."
I give him a thumbs up and unlock the door. I walk in the house and go straight upstairs.
I toss my book bag on the floor and walk over to my closet.
I push all my hoodies and jeans to the side and pull out a huge box of clothes my mom bought me.
I open it and sigh. My mom buys me girly clothes all the time even though she knows I'll never wear them. But today, I think I'll give something a try.
Since I like dark colors I grab a black high waisted skirt and a black and white striped long sleeve shirt.
I change into it and look in the mirror. To be completely honest I actually really like it.
I slip on my low top black and white converse. Take my curly dark brown hair out of it's messy pony tail and leave it down. I take out my favorite book and start reading.
***
My reading is interrupted by the sound of my mom knocking on my bed room door. I put my book down on my dresser and open the door.
As soon as I open the door my mom gasps.
"Oh Samantha you look gorgeous!" My mom exclaims.
I laugh. "Thanks mom."
"You never wear the clothes I buy you."
"I'm meeting Jace's parents today and I wanted to look nice. All I did was put on a shirt." I say sheepishly.
My mom grins. "Oh, I understand. He's downstairs. Have fun Samantha."
I watch my mom walk into her room and close the door. I sigh and walk downstairs. Jace is sitting on the couch on his phone. I walk up behind him and touch his hair. He looks up at me and smiles. Then he stands up.
"Well don't you look pretty." Jace says smiling.
I feel myself blush. "Thank you."
"We should get going. My parents are excited to meet you."
I laugh. "You're saying it like they've never met one of your friends before."
"They haven't."
I give Jace a confused look. "So I'm the first girl you've ever brought home to meet your parents?"
Jace nods. "Yep. I've had a lot of girlfriends but I never really cared about them that much to actually let my parents meet them."
"Wow. That doesn't make me feel nervous at all." I say sarcastically.
Jace laughs. "Don't be nervous. We're just friends so it's not that big of a deal anyway."

•AT JACE'S HOUSE•
As soon as I walk into Jace's house. I'm greeted by a smiling lady with Brown hair.
I put out my hand for her to shake it. She grabs it while smiling. "Hey, nice to meet you Sam. I'm Ileana, Jace's mom."
"Nice to meet you to." I say smiling.
"Jace has told me a lot about you. I hope you don't mind that I'm calling you Sam. Jace said you like being called Sam," She says.
I glare at Jace. "I hated it at first but Jace helped me realize that it's not that bad."
She laughs. "Yeah, Jace is always giving people nicknames."
I laugh.
"Well, dinner will be done in about 5 minutes." She says while leaving me and Jace in the living room to go finish cooking.
Jace leads me to the couch and we sit down.
I turn to Jace and smile. "Your mom is extremely nice."
He laughs. "Yeah, Since my older sister has been in college I think she really just misses having a younger girl around."
A older boy with dark brown hair walks into sight.
"Speaking of siblings." Jace grins. "This is my older brother Xander, Xander this is Sam."
"Nice to meet you Sam." He says.
"Nice to meet you to." I say back.
I turn back to Jace. "Where's your dad?" I ask.
"Oh, he's still at work." Jace says.
"Dinner's ready!" I hear Jace's mom shout.
We go into the dinning room and sit down. I sit in between Jace and Xander.
Jace's mom comes in the dinning room with a huge bowl of spaghetti.
***
"That was really good Ms. Norman." I say wiping my mouth with a napkin.
She smiles. "Thank you Sam."
Xander finishes his plate and goes upstairs.
Jace's mom let's out a small yawn. "I'm gonna go get some rest. Goodnight Jace, Goodnight Samantha."
Just then a man with long brown hair walks into the dinning room. "Hey," he greets.
I smile and shake his hand. "Hey, I'm Samantha."
"I'm Scott, Jace's dad."
I nod. He brushes past me and gives his wife a hug. She fixes him a plate of Spaghetti and they both go up to their room.
I turn to Jace. "So is dinner usually the end of the date or?"
"No. Usually people watch a movie after dinner." Jace says.
He stands up and grabs my wrist, dragging me upstairs with him.
We walk into his room and he shuts the door. I sit on his bed. He sits next to me and starts a movie.
***
I wake up to the sound of nothing. I look over to my left and see Jace sleeping. I shake him and he wakes up.
"The movie's over." I say sitting completely up.
Jace sits up and looks at me.
"So how'd I do on this 'date'? you haven't criticized anything I've done all night." I say.
Jace grins. "That's because there was nothing to criticize. You did amazing. You were perfect."
I smile and look at my phone. It's 11pm.
"So after the movie is the date over?" I say.
Jace looks down. "Usually. But in this case. No."
"What do you mean by that?"
Jace leans in and passionately kisses me. I kiss back the same way. He grabs my neck with his free hand sending chills down my spine. I feel his tongue slide inside my mouth. He deepens the kiss and I feel his boner on my thigh.
Startled by the sudden pressure on my thigh, I smile slowing breaking the kiss.
Ugh kissing him is so hot, hopefully Billy can kiss like this.
I smile."You really like kissing me don't you?"
Jace scoots away from me a little and smiles. "Maybe a little. But I was just, ya know, preparing you, if uh, that happened when you kissed Billy, so you wouldn't go crazy and attack him."
I nod. "Yeah, you must be really talented if you can make that thing pop out that fast."
