The next day...

•AT SCHOOL•

All I've been thinking about lately is the kiss with Jace yesterday. I feel like he was hiding something from me.

I walk up to my locker and open it. I slowly touch my lips with my fingers. I smile. I can still feel his soft lips matching with mine.

This is wrong.

I stop touching my lips and dig in my locker for my stuff. I can't have any feelings for Jace. My main priority is Billy.

I close my locker and start walking to my third period class.

Before I know it I fall to the ground and my face smacks the floor. I look up at Mindy laughing.

"Oops. I accidentally tripped you. Sorry." She says walking away.

I roll my eyes and turn to all my stuff scattered across the floor. I sigh and start picking it all up.

As soon as I go grab my last notebook my hand smacks into another hand. I look up and see Billy's big blue gorgeous eyes.

I smile and he's smiles back. I look down and realize our hands are still touching.

What's happening hshajsns.

I snatch my hand away from his, grab my notebook and stand up.

"Hey Samantha, what's up?" He greets.

I look down at my feet trying to hide my blushing face. I look up still beaming red and smile. "Hey Billy!"

"You look pretty today." He grins.

Did he just complement me!?!

I blush harder. "Thanks. You do to,"

He laughs.

"I mean- oh um! You look cute. Or handsome." I stammer frantically.

He laughs again.

I tilt my head in embarrassment. "Both?"

He smiles. "Your cute."

What I wanna do is fall on the ground and burst into confetti. But I keep my cool and smile.

"Yeah, I know." I reply.

I walk down the hallway with the football team. I haven't really talked to Sam all day today because all my friends have been telling me all the cool stuff they did over the weekend without me.

I fake a few laughs and walk over to my locker to grab my stuff for 3rd period. As soon as I collect all my things I shut my locker and start walking to class.

I stop and stare when I see Sam talking to Billy. They're laughing. I roll my eyes.

I quickly run my fingers through my hair and take a deep breath. I walk over to Sam and Billy.

I swing my arm around Sam's neck. Billy looks at me and I give him a fake smile.

Sam gives me one of those: "I'm gonna murder you if you don't get the hell away" looks.

"Jaaaace. I think you were leaving now." Sam says unwrapping my arm from her neck.

I put my arm back around her neck and shake my head. "Naugh, I think I was just now getting here. What are you two talking about?"

Billy smiles. "Oh, nothing much, just how pretty Sam is."

Sam blushes. I glare at Billy.

"Haha I'm the only one that calls her Sam." I say pointing to myself.

Billy awkwardly laughs. "Okay then. Well, anyways I gotta get to class. See ya around Samantha."

Sam waves at him as he walks away. As soon as he's out of sight she turns to me and glares.

"What's wrong with you? You scared him away." Sam snaps.

I shrug. Sam rolls her eyes and starts speed walking to class.

I sprint up to her. "Are you mad at me?"

She turns around and looks me in the eyes angrily. "Yes." She says. I smile and her face goes soft. "Ugh I'm not mad." She corrects.

I smile. "I knew you still loved me."

Sam smiles. "Shut up loser."

I sit by myself at lunch, reading. Honestly, so far this year has been so amazing. I made a friend for the first time in my life and Billy is finally starting to notice me.

"Hey Samantha."

Speaking of Billy...

I look up from my book and see Billy. I put my book down and smile.

"Hey Billy."

He smiles and then looks down at his hands. "So I was wondering if you wanted to maybe go out with me?"

I heart drops and I die. I smile. "I'd love to."

He grins. "So, next Saturday at 8 at my house?"

I nod while smiling.

He hands me his phone. "Put your number in there."

I smile and type in my number. Billy stands up and walks away from me.

I have to tell Jace!

I jump up from the table and scan the room. He's not in here.

I know where he is...

I run out of the cafeteria. I go straight into boys locker room.

I walk through crowds of shirtless wet boys with towels wrapped around their waist.

After seeing almost every male body part there is I finally spot Jace with no shirt on in his boxers.

I mentally scream inside at the sight of his gorgeous body.

Wait gorgeous?

He turns to me and smiles. "Hey Sam."

He looks at his chest, I look too. "Stop that." I say.

Jace laughs. "Stop what?"

I roll my eyes. "Stop making me look at your abs."

"Ya mean like this?" He grins and then he starts caressing his body.

Holy hotness wywhrven.

I laugh covering my eyes. "Stop that, I need to tell you something."

He stops still smiling.

"Okay so at lunch." I start. I stare at Jace's abs.

He looks at me confused. "Something wrong?"'

"Please put on a shirt," I say.

"No. I think I won't," Jace grins.

"Why not?" I ask frustratedly.

"Because I know my hot abs are making you act like this."

I can't help but laugh. He's completely right.

Jace laughs and slips on a shirt and some pants. I sigh.

"So, Billy asked me out!" I exclaimed.

Jace looks down and then up. He smiles. "That's great!"

"We're going out next Saturday. So I'm gonna need your training." I say.

Jace grins. "Sam will you go out with me?"

I give him a confused look. "What?"

He laughs. "It's not gonna be a real date. It's gonna a test date. I'll teach you how to act so when you go on your actual date with Billy you'll know what to do."

I nod. "No."

A shocked look comes over Jace's face.

"No way I could say no," I laugh. "This is the perfect way for me to learn how to act on a date." I wrap my arms around Jace's neck and give me a tight hug. His arms wrap around my waist. We let go.

"So where is your date with Billy?" Jace asks.

"It's just a simple dinner date with his family." I say.

Jace nods. "So tomorrow night you're having dinner with me and my family."

I smile. "What should I wear?"

Jace wraps his arm around my shoulder and we start walking out of the locker room.

"I don't know but, whatever you decide on wearing I'm sure will look great."-
