Chapter 7
07:15, 19 April 2020Thalia's POV
"Selena, get down here! Everyone else is ready to go!" I shouted down the hallway.
"Coming!" She called as she untangled herself from Beckendorf.
"Thanks for finally showing up," Luke smirked as Selena rushed to catch up with us.
"Shut up golden boy, now are we ready?" Selena asked as she's threw on her mask and cloak.
"Almost, now, does everyone have a name? I suggest that no one reveals who they are. If you wish to let someone know who you are, talk to me or Thalia, we will let you know if it is safe to. Any questions?" Luke asked as he fixed his mask.
"Why might it not be safe to reveal ourselves?" Zoe asked.
"Because then some people might start to figure out who the rest of us are. I'm sorry but you can't tell anyone that you are still alive," I replied.
"Alright everyone, please teleport to the throne room of Olympus," Luke ordered as we all left the palace that is home to Chaos's army.
A few hours before, Chaos had called me and Luke to inform us about the new threat on earth. He did not think the demigods could handle it, so he was sending us to help. Only a few of us, the rest are coming later, once we find out what the threat is and if we are unable to solve this issue without reinforcements.
I open my eyes and have 12 pairs of eyes on me, all curious, confused, angry, or variations of such. It was perfect, you don't see 12 speechless gods every day. Yes, I mean speechless, Zeus and Ares were silent, even Apollo wasn't making his horrible haiku's, thankfully.
Unfortunately, that couldn't last. Zeus quickly came to his senses and demanded we state our purpose.
Luke stepped forwards, I knew it was him because of the color and design of his mask. All of us have unique masks that allude to our talents. Anyways, he introduced himself," I am Archí and I am co-commander of Chaos's army, and we have come to help."
Archí, really? Luke can be so ridiculous sometimes.
"That is an interesting name boy, why a name meaning start?" Athena, always curious, asked.
"I made some bad choices once, but know I am a different person starting a new life, Now, enough about me, we have come to help you with the threat that is rising. We will be staying at Camp Half-Blood, I truly hope our paths never cross again, goodbye!"
And just like that we left the gods in their throne room on Mount Olympus. I smiled to myself as we walked down half-blood hill to meet the campers. The looks on their faces were priceless, and I will remember them till my dying day. Next task pranking the demigods, but, how, is the question.
Percy's POV
I was practicing my archery when I had glanced longingly towards the sword arena, even as a Titan, I'm a lousy shot. Why won't the arrow just hit the bullseye already? I had already decided to pretend like I could barely hold a sword so I could forget using one anytime soon. Why the Hades had I agree to stay here? Suddenly, I saw something out of the corner of my eye, a group of hooded figures standing on top of the hill. Other people started noticing and some started to approach them, Chaos's soldiers.
I had heard about them. Kronos and Gaia sometimes discussed what to do if they tried to help the Gods. They were going to try to stop me from getting my revenge. I would not allow that; we might have to have a pointed conversation soon, with my sword doing the talking.
While everyone else went towards the hill to either greet or kill our new guests, I went towards my new cabin. Having been the only child of Poseidon, I was used to having the cabin to myself. I did not like having to share with twenty other kids, so I was glad to have some time to myself.
Leo's POV
Calypso and I were enjoying a quite picnic on the beach when someone decided we were having too much fun. Honestly, sometimes I think the fates are responsible for all Calypso and I's ruined dates.
Anyways, Cal and I were about to start on desert when we heard what sounded like a stampede. We both got up to investigate and immediately ran towards the hill where a clump of people where gathered.
"We come in peace," The voice came from one of cloaked figures.
"Yeah," one of the cloaked people, or so I think, snickered, " take us to your leader earthlings.
Cries of "Who are you, why are you here, are you aliens" and similar ring out from the crowd. I didn't see Chiron, so I stepped up.
"I'm the supreme leader around here, who are you?" I asked.
"Leo," Piper rolled her eyes at me as she stepped forward from the crowd. "I'm Piper, and that idiot is Leo Valdez, what is your purpose here?"
One of the figures stepped forward, the leader I assumed, " I am Diana, co-commander of Chaos's army, and we are here to help you in the upcoming war."
"Diana like the Roman Goddess?" Someone asked.
The girl, Diana, ignored the question and instead, turned to me, "We shall be on our way to our cabin now. Tell Chiron we will meet with him later."
Before I could tell her that there was no cabin prepared for them, she led her soldiers to an empty plot of land and took out a small piece of cloth. She spread it out on the ground, and it started to grow, soon it was a huge tent. The warriors went inside, I guess this was an everyday affair for them.
I wanted to admire the handiwork, possibly ask for some blueprints, but before I could even finish my thought, Piper spoke.
"Come on, back to your activities," Piper ordered as she headed for the big house. "Leo, come with me."
