Note: From what you're gonna read, it's not confirmed that the Light Master and the Dark Master are brothers, this is just a made-up idea by me.

Dan's POV

Before I was about to get back up, the thing that attacked me teleported in a flash and pressed his foot against my chest. It looked like the Light Master but his whole body was pitch black with a white glistening aura. I only remembered him as one of the members of the King's party before I got drunk that time.

Dark Master: Now I shall destroy you!

Suddenly just before he was about to swing his white pixely sword, he was knocked back by a flash of light.

I would've ducked down from that but I was already on the floor.

When I finally stood back up, I looked behind and saw the Light Master with a black pixely cane.

Dark Master: You've come for me, brother.

Light Master: No, I came for the prisoners...and Dan.

Wait...they're brothers?

Dark Master: You fool! Those prisoners are nothing but weak dogs that should serve the King and his Advisor! *poses for a fight* You cannot save them!

Light Master: *also poses* Go, Dan! Find the King and save the village!

They both flew towards each other and started slashing their weapons against each other.

I just ran over to where I blew up the wall. But when I got there, Josie and the villagers weren't there. They must've gone through the balcony door.

Josie's POV

I would've gone to help Dan but I was still too scared to see him again that I decided to follow Ted and the villagers to the exit.

Besides, that was the Dark Master attacking Dan.

The last time I saw the Dark Master, he stabbed the waitress through the back in front of me trying to free the baby dragon.

Now I just hope Dan doesn't get killed a second time.

After going up a very tight elevator one room above the locker room, we all passed a bunch of burning debris, dead bodies, and some paintings of the King.

They showed him looking attractive with muscles and a six-pack. But in reality, he's fat.

Me: Why did you decide to help us, Ted?

Ted: You people were innocent, you don't even deserve to be treated like animals. And by the looks of everything around here, the rest of the villagers must've gotten my text.

Villager #3: That was you?!

Ted: Yeah, and I'm sure this is how they are trying to overthrow the King.

Female Villager #2: Ted, this castle is now like a war zone! Our fellow villagers would never do something like this!

Ted: Well whoever started this war, let's not get caught in any crossfire or something.

We all walked downstairs into some sort of office floor. There was broken glass, vandalized furniture, more dead bodies of the King's guards, and an executive burning a stack of files one by one.

Executive: Just leave me be! I gotta get rid of all this before the ninja rebels get here!

Villager #4: Alright...

A little while later, we also passed a few posters which offended the villagers with me. The first poster showed a random villager watching the news with a sign saying "keep them stupid" above, the second poster showed a female villager getting tired while carrying a bucket of water with a sign saying "keep them working" below her, and the third poster had another random villager holding a glass mug filled with beer with a sign saying "keep them drunk" above him.

Once again, I'm getting the feeling the King is a much bigger pig than when I last knew about him.

But then I noticed a green poster before the stairway door with the King's face on it with a text saying "keep him king".

That seems suspicious.

Me: Ted, how much farther until we get to the exit?

Dan's POV

Still trying to look for Josie, I was running up the stairs fast. From all this running, and fighting from earlier my arms and legs feel a lot achy. But I know I cannot let out.

If I make the right decisions without the geezers, I can finish off what I would've started...

I'll save the villagers, stop the King's evil plans, and if we all make it out alive, I'll marry Josie.

I opened a door leading to a boardroom and in there, it was a massacre. There were guards and ninja rebels piled in the center of the room next to the long table all filled with bloody bullet holes.

A few of the surviving ninja rebels were standing next to the bathroom door at the far end of the room holding their AK rifles.

James: Oh hey! You're just in time! Where'd you get that black eye?

Me: The Dark Master attacked me but now he's fighting with the Light Master. They also turn out to be brothers.

James: Oh dang.

King Resistance: Quiet! Now get over here Dan.

I met up with the ninja rebels at the bathroom door.

King: Guards! Are we safe to come out now?

After hearing that question, King Resistance unlocked the bathroom door and walked in.

Gunshots and screaming were heard through the door.

Maybe the King wasn't alone there?

The King was pushed out of the bathroom by King Resistance. The King was still wearing his golden crown, red bathrobe, and red underwear.

He put his hands on his head in surrender.

King: *notices me* Dan! You're here to save me!

Just half a second before King Resistance was about to point his rifle towards the King's back, I began punching the King to his surprise.

King: Wha...? Dan? What are you doing?

Me: *tugged on the King's bathrobe* YOU KNOW WHY! Some villagers have been getting kidnapped by your men and were forced to run power for the castle! INCLUDING MY GIRLFRIEND! *about to punch him in the face*

King: Huh? Wait! Stop! That wasn't my idea! My Advisor didn't even tell me about that! I thought the villagers were protesting me because I was being such a fatty! I even heard someone call me a pig.

James: Your Advisor?

King Resistance: Do not listen to him. He must be lying so we can spare him. Which we might not do anyway...

Me: Wait, you don't take prisoners?

King Resistance: No we don't. Besides, what good would every single executive and guard have? They always laugh at every "poor" decision and anyone who they think is weak. What good would the King have?

King: I...I... maybe I can tell my Advisor and the guards to stop? I can use one of their walkie-talkie thingies.

Me: *lets go of his bathrobe* If you're telling the truth then alright...

King Resistance: You're taking his side?! I thought you wanted to go to war with him!

Me: Well maybe I went to war just to save the villagers and my girlfriend. Sure they are careless jerks but do you really think I wanted to kill them even if they don't surrender? This is all done by his Advisor!

King Resistance: *walks past us and hands his rifle to one of his members* You do sound right Dan...but we do so so they cannot do it all again. The people need a better and stronger ruler to lead them. This is the way. The way of the Resistance... *pulls a Deagle from his pocket*

Just when he cocked it, I thought fast and pummeled him all over his chest and face, grabbed him by his orange-red cloth suit, and tossed him at the ninja rebel holding his AK rifle, knocking them both out.

James and the Ninja Rebels: *gasp*

Ninja Rebel #5: *pulls out a communication radio* King Resistance has been taken down! Fall back!

The Ninja Rebels except James began running away through the door.

James: WAIT! COME BACK! I'M SUPPOSED TO BE SECOND IN COMMAND!

But nobody came back.

James: Thanks a lot, Daniel! Now that you've taken down King Resistance, we can't take control over the kingdom! I also have to lead the ninja rebels for now. *picks up both the unconscious ninjas* And good luck being on our wanted list again. *walks through the door*

Me: It's just Dan...

King: *sigh* Thanks for helping me Dan...so what now?

Me: You're gonna tell the guards to stop?

King: Oh yeah, that's right. Just let me wash my hands first.
