Deep Sleep

Days passed, Forrest was back home in Ireland. She recently got into an argument with Liam. He wouldn't be her date to the Emmys. He insisted that 'he hates flying, that flights way to long' although he went to Orlando before. Forrest eventually gave in and deciding to bring Victory instead.

Both girls were getting dressed in Vera Wang. They had been talking constantly and sending pictures of both dresses, until it was time to fit them. Both girls were now going to fly over to LA tonight. They planned on staying there until after the awards. It was only two and a half weeks but they had to bring lots of stuff.

Both hopped into first class that night and began their journey to LAX. They book a hotel with two double beds. They had a dress fitting tomorrow and next week, but apart from that they were free to do what ever they like. Forrest knew when booking the room, it was only minutes walk from Rudy and Drew's apartment complex. Victory was excited to finally meet the people Forrest has blabbed on about for the last few months.

They landed and made their way to the hotel. Their bags filling up one side of the room. Forrest being famous in LA led to there always being paparazzi following her, it was her job to make sure her and Victory were going to be ready, whether that be posing or dressing great.

Forrest immediately pulled out her phone texting into the outer banks cast group chat, ' Pogues, Kooks and in between'. The group chat was always blinging, whether it be texts or sending Memes/ Tiktoks.Forrest: 'miss you guys!'Maddison: 'miss you too, can't wait to see you next week though!!"Rudy: 'nah I've been fine without.'Maddison: 'RUDYY!'Rudy: 'Jj,Jk, obviously I've been heart broken with out her!" Drew: 'Same! When you going to hurry up and move here?!" Forrest: 'thanks boys! Idk it's hard tho Bec Liam and that is in Ireland'Madelyn: 'I think Liam can get away with himself!'Chase: 'I agree'Rudy: 'same!!'Drew: 'said from day one!' Austin: 'I'm late to the party what we saying?' Rudy: 'Forrest should leave Liam in Ireland and move here."Austin: 'oh yes 100% agree.'Maddison: 'Leave the poor girl alone!' Forrest: 'Thanks Maddie!, anyway what you all up to?'Rudy: 'nothing sitting here with Fat head.'Drew: 'who tf you calling fat head, tennis ball head!'Madelyn: 'loool, me and chase are just having a movie night." Maddison: 'Just kickin back here at home alone.'Austin: 'sitting waiting for JD to get out of the shower to watch Brooklyn 99'Forrest: 'ah well hope you all enjoy, htg now byeee!"

Forrest places down her phone. "Come on we are surprising the others, and then going for food!" Forrest says to victory getting off her bed. Victory's nerves build up and so does Forrests excitement. The first house they are going to is Rudy and Drew's. The get a taxi and head straight into the apartment building. Forrest knowing exactly where their place is.

The duo waltz up to the door of their apartment and knock twice on the door. Seconds later the door is opened by the messy haired blonde that takes the role of JJ. His face drops when he sees the figure standing in the door way, immediately pulling the blonde into a hug. "Who is it Rudy?!" Drew calls out from the living room. "Come here and see!" Rudy calls back, suddenly Drew stands up turns into the hall and his eyes land on the blonde. "What the fuck?!" He says running forwards to hug the girls. Victory stands in the background feeling awkward and out of place until Rudy grabs her hand and drags the two of them in. "So I am guessing you are... Victory!" Rudy calls after trying to think which one she was. "That's me!" Victory replies not feeling as awkward anymore. "Well it's great to finally meet you, I'm Drew." Drew says shaking the girls hand."I'm Rudy!" Rudy calls our following Drew's actions. "So how did this happen how are you here, why are yous here?!" Drew questions "Well we have a dress fitting tomorrow. We had to come out anyways, so we thought we might aswell surprise you." Forrest opens

The four sit and catch up for a few minutes until Forrest suggests they go surprise the rest. The next closes place was Maddies, that's where they went. Knocking on the door and shocking the life out of her. The same was done of Chase and Madelyn. The 7 then walked up to JDs and knocked upon the door. Austin answered with a wet looking JD at the end of the hall with a towel wrapped around his waist.

Both gushed forward to engulf the petite blonde in a hug and introduce themselves to Victory. The 9 sat in JDs for a while, just talking and catching up, until they came to a decision on which restaurant they were going to attend. They eventually decided on a small restaurant called 'Pips on Labrea'. The place wasn't too popular, it had live music and the reviews were all great.

The 9 split into 3 groups of 3. Forrest took Victory and Maddie. Madelyn, Austin and Chase in one. The team aiming three in the last. After a 20 minute drive they arrived. Forrest got out last paying the man and giving him a $70 tip. The nine swiftly move inside trying to catch minimum attention.

They nine were immediately seated at a large booth at the back of the diner. Slow music playing in the background of each conversation. Forrest sits in between Drew and Austin. Each take a menu from the end of the table and scan through. Forrests eyes immediately setting in the kids section. Chicken tenders, fries and a sex on the beach.

As the waitress takes each order, the cast jokes about Forrests choice of food. She was used to this, she would go for lunches with important people to talk about her work, she always got a reaction for ordering off the kids menu. She always got a big dessert though, Forrest had quite the sweet tooth.

The food arrived and everyone jumped into conversations. Forrest was currently messing with Drew. Both child like adults seeing who could finish their drink first with out using their hands. Both went for the dog technique, trying to scoop the liquid up with just their tongues. Forrests cocktail glass was shorter and wider which allowed her to drink more easier. Drew started to complain when he realized she had an advantage.

Forrest easily took the win, meaning Drew had to buy her a drink. Drew thought it would be funny to order her a extra strong vodka and sprite on rocks.Forrest was outplayed, it turned into more of a forfeit that anything. "That's so not fair! I won, you don't get to make me drunk." Forrest insists"The games the game babe." Drew jokes sliding the drink towards the stunning girl. Forrest downed the drink quickly, not pulling a face, she refused to give Drew the satisfaction. Forrest was starting to get noticeably tipsy. This was proven right when she came up with the idea to get up and sing a song.

She was trapped in the back of the booth with Drew one side, Austin the other, a wall behind and the table in front. She slid across Drew's lap, then across Madelyn's and Chases as she attempts to get out. She runs up to the stage where the band is currently playing. She talks to the lead singer for a minute before hopping up behind the mic. The group of friends immediately taking out their phones to record.

The drums started to roll in and the background singers; "Eh-eh-oh, eh-oh" and repeat eight times. Forrests light voice then joins in; "I was left to my own devicesMany days fell away with nothing to show" the girl sings. Victory immediately face palms."Pompeii?" Rudy asks as to why."Her favorite song." Victory answers."I thought her favorite song was 'Fast car'" Drew states remembering the time when the two sang their hearts out to it in a taxi with a random talk driver. "Yes, it is. She has three; 'Pompeii', 'Fast Car' and 'Home'. She really loves all the songs from the start of the millennium, she likes to be able to sing along." Victory adds, knowing everything there is to know about her best friend.

"But if you close your eyesDoes it almost feel like nothing changed at all?And if you close your eyesDoes it almost feel like you've been here before?How am I gonna be an optimist about this?How am I gonna be an optimist about this?" Forrest continues to sing.The restaurant is now lit with people and their flashlights, whether they are recording or just waving their lights to support the young girl. The girls voice was amazingly sweet. "Why does nobody know she can sing?" Chase asks Victory."She believes if she's an actor, she should get casted completely on her acting ability. She never usually sings anywhere rather than the shower, her room at night or drunk at a karaoke. I wonder what gave her the guts to get up tonight?" The girl wanders, not knowing that the boy across from her was feeding the girl drink like it was water. "She may have had a few alcoholic beverages." Drew admits laughing to himself. The 7 others nod realizing that's where the Brodigan girl got her confidence from.

The song ends and everyone immediately stands up cheering and clapping. Forrest hops off the stage after thanking the band. She runs down to her seat and slides back in. "You were amazing!" JD confesses from across the table. Which Forrest thanks. "Little Beyoncé on our hands." Drew smiles wrapping his arm around the girls shoulder.

The group pays and leaves. Seconds after exiting the door, Forrest is spotted. A group of fans running forward. "Forrest, I love you!" "Your the best actress there ever was!!" "Would you and Tom ever date?!" "Oh my god yours and Zac Efrons children would be so cute!""We love you!!" The fans all call to the tipsy actress, in which she replies with;"Thanks, thanks, nope, thanks but never going to happen and I Love you too!!!" The woman takes multiple photos with the crowd of you girls and they finally leave. Luckily it was getting dark out, so there wasn't much other people out.

"Oh Forrest we love you, oh Forrest have Zack's Babies, oh Forrest!!!" Rudy says imitating the young girls in a slight jealous tone, but Forrest laughs it off and says "you wish it was you."

The nine go back to Drew's and Rudy's place where they prepare for a movie night. They decide on watching 'the impossible', staring Forrests partner in crime Tom. Drew sighed at first when he found out the movie starred Tom Holland, even if he was only a child in it. Drew felt ever so slightly jealous of the young British boy. He was always being 'shipped' with Forrest and there was always cute little videos and photos of the two. The whole world hoped they would get together, Drew would be lying if he said he wasn't Jealous. Drew knew ever since he started filming with Forrest that he liked her, but it came to the point that it angered him ever time she brought up other males such as; Liam, Tom or Zach. Drew never told nobody, it would ruin everything.

The living room was turned into one big sleepover room. Both Drew's and Rudy's mattress's were dragged into the living room and left on the floor. Maddie and Victory took one couch, Madelyn and Austin taking the other. That left the five others on the mattress's. It went in order from, Chase to JD to Forrest to Drew to Rudy. Forrest was sat on the point where the two mattresses met. She worried that she would slide down in between them.

As the movie played the tipsy Forrest cried, along with Madelyn and Victory. Forrest could swear that she seen JD spill a tear but he denied. The reunion scene played and Forrests eyes were completely drowned.

"Shshsshh" Drew tries to quieten the small girl as he slips his arm around her shoulder. The girl wipes her eyes and leans in against the boy. If anyone other than there 9 people seen the scene they would think the two were deeply in love, but everyone knew it was just how they were. Well, everyone but Drew.

The nine all ended up sleeping in their positions. Rudy spooning Drew as he spooned Forrest as she spooned JD as he spooned Chase. The scene was absolutely adorable, that's why Maddie hopped up and took a quick picture before slipping back into her spot and drifting into a deep sleep, like everyone else in the room.
