Grievous Intrigue

Roxanne's POV

We took back Geonosis and stopped them from making more droids on the planet. But we were nearly infected by parasites. But Ahsoka stopped them and saved the day. Now Masters Obi-wan. Skywalker, Adi Gallia and I are going to rescue Master Eeth Koth, who has been captured by General Grievous. While Ahsoka stayed on Coruscant still recovering from what happened after Geonosis.

I'm still conflicted about my future with the order. I've spoken to Master Yoda about it. He has given me permission to return to my home planet for a while. So that I can think more clearly. Without the threat of attack. In fact I'm scheduled to leave soon. Though I have not told Master Obi-wan yet. Because as soon as he returned for go word of Master Eeth Koth's capture. I promised myself I'd tell him after the mission.

Obi-wan and I are on the bridge. "Are you ready?" he asks Anakin.

"Yes" he answers.

"We'll engage Grievous and give you the coordinates of his command ship" Obi-wan tells him.

"Just make sure you get it right" Anakin tells him.

"I always do" Obi-wan reminds him.

"How do you plan on getting Grievous onto your ship?" Master Adi asks.

"She makes a good point master" I state.

"Don't worry, the good general and I have a history. I'm sure he'll want to settle the score face to face" he tells us.

"Meanwhile, we'll jump in undetected and board the command ship" Anakin states.

"If Master Koth is still alive, we will find him" Adi tells us.

"Hopefully by the end of this mission, we will have saved Master Koth and captured General Grievous" Obi-wan states. "May the force be with you both" he says. Before ending the transmission. "Roxanne, I want you to stay beside me through out this battle. Grievous is to powerful for you to face alone" he tells me.

"I understand Master, I won't leave your side" I assure him. "Master, after this mission. There is something important I have to discuss with you" I tell him.

"Of course, but we'll worry about that later" he assures me. "For now, clear your mind and focus on the task at hand" he tells me.

"Yes Master" I say nodding my head.

(Time skip)

As soon as we exited hyperspace, Master Obi-wan hailed the separatist command ship. I stayed beside Commander Cody as Master Obi-wan spoke to Grievous. The talk was short and Grievous starts to attack. Drawing us closer, Master Obi-wan was right. Grievous does want to settle their score face to face.

Master Obi-wan had me send the command ship coordinates to Masters Skywalker and Adi. While he told the Admiral to keep Grievous fleet occupied. So that they don't notice the others arrival. The Admiral said he would and they started to attack the fleet. While our ship focused on the command ship.

We're soon caught in a tractor beam. Master Obi-wan told the troopers to let Grievous board us. As a diversion for the others. We head for the docking door. "Remember we must keep Grievous here until Anakin is off his ship with Master Koth" he reminds us.

We arrive and wait for the command ship to dock. I stand by Commander Cody and Master Obi-wan. Soon the door is cut open and kicked our way. We dodge it and commando & Magna droids appear with Grievous. Obi-wan and I deflect blaster fire. Until the magna droids head our way. We back away from them as Grievous notices us.

We lead them to the bridge. "I heard you had another apprentice, I look forward to killing her in front you Kenobi" Grievous tells him.

"She is more powerful then you think" Obi-wan tells him.

"So is everything going to plan?" Grievous asks him.

"Depends on your point of view General" Obi-wan tells him. As I cover his back. The Magna droids trying to find a weak spot. They attack and I destroy one.

"You wouldn't come here with your apprentice without a plan or back up. Do you think Skywalker has rescued Koth yet?" Grievous asks. Obi-wan focuses on him while I focus on the remaining magna droid. He begins to fight Grievous, while I handle the droid. But it's been awhile since I handled a magna droid. It's more difficult then I remember, they must of upgraded them since I last fought one.

I focus on it. Ignoring Obi-wan's fight with Grievous and their conversation. I kick the electro-staff out of it' servos and catch it. Then zap the droid with it, before be heading it. I notice my master backed into a corner. "Master Obi-wan" I say and come up behind Grievous. He takes out two other light sabers. Making his arms separate into four.

I swing my saber at Grievous and he blocks it. Then I go zap him. But he destroys the staff while blocking Obi-wan's attack with the other two light sabers. He then kicks me in the gut and I fly across the room. "Roxanne" Obi-wan says concerned. He jumps over Grievous, but is kicked in the back with he lands. He flies over to me and lands on the ground hard.

"Master" I say as we look at Grievous. Obi-wan shakes his head dazed.

"The stories of Obi-wan Kenobi and Roxanne end here" Grievous tells us. We activate our sabers blocking his. When he pulls back, we flip away from him landing on our feet. We all start to fight. He backs us into a corner. Our sabers lock as he pushes us into a control console. "Your friend and apprentice will die Kenobi. And you'll soon follow" he taunts my master. We push him away and get away from the console.

We soon get the upper and Master Obi-wan tells Grievous to surrender. He refused and left eh room. Locking us inside. I start to cut throw the door as Obi-wan contacted Anakin. I contact Cody. "Grievous is heading your way" I tell him. He confirmed it. Obi-wan finished helping me cut the door open.

We run for the airlock. As our ship is attacked. We reach the airlock to see Grievous. We follow him with several clones. Including Commander Cody. The tunnel connecting the ships begins to break tilting downwards. Sending Grievous our way. Master Obi-wan engages him. But he gets away boarding his ship. "Until we meet again Kenobi, Roxanne" he says before Master Adi appears.

"Roxanne, get the troopers back onto the ship" Obi-wan tells me. "Adi and I shall handle Grievous" he states. I nod my head. But before I could do so the tunnel breaks away from our ship. Sucking one of the clones into space. Grievous escapes. As Adi sends us a cable and pulls us aboard. Before shutting the door.

"Now what master?" I ask Obi-wan. He wanted to go after Grievous. But we had to leave. So he contacted Anakin to give us a lift. We ran for the hanger. We got there safely without running into droids. No doubt they are abandoning the ship. Master Skywalker appears and we board his ship. We hold on tight as Anakin takes off.

I stay in the back with the troops as the masters headed for the bridge to talking to Anakin. "You ok kid?" Cody asks me.

"A little bruised, but I'll live" I assure him. "You?" I ask.

"Same" he says as he removes his helmet. We soon board the cruiser. Obi-wan and I head for somewhere private to talk. As he tells me he is going after Grievous with Cody on the planet below.

"What is it you wished to discuss?" he asks me.

"I'm returning to my home planet for awhile" I tell him.

"Why? Does the council know?" he asks.

"Master Yoda knows and gave me permission to go. I have been feeling conflicted since the battle of Geonosis. I need time away from the battle field and order to think about my future" I tell him. "You don't know this master, but I come from a neutral system. It makes it difficult" I tell him.

"I did not know, I understand now why you felt so strongly about the battle on Geonosis" he says resting a hand on my shoulder. "Take all the time you need my padawan, but remember it's your choice" he tells me.

"Thank you Master" I tell him.

"When you return, I'd love to hear more about your life before the order. About your home" he tells me.

"I'd like to learn more about your past also Master" I tell him. "Good luck with the hunt for Grievous and be careful" I tell him.

"I always am" he assures me. "Now I want you to remain here with Anakin and help him with the space battle. Until I return" he tells me.

"Yes Master" I say and we go our separate ways. I head off to the bridge. Knowing that's where Anakin will be heading first.
