Roxanne's POV

"Ow" I groan as I wake up. I notice I'm in cuffs and curse.

"About time you woke up" a voice says. I turn to see Qui-gon and see we're chained together. "How's the head?" he asks me.

"None of you damn business" I tell him. "Where are Masters Obi-wan and Skywalker?" I ask him.

"We're in the next cell with Dooku" Master Obi-wan states. "You are grounded when we get out of this" he adds.

"What's the plan?" I ask them.

"Well we have tried to separate the shackles with no luck. So we'll have to work together to escape" Qui-gon states. "Your masters are working on a way out" he adds.

"Obi-wan is my master, Skywalker is Ahsoka's" I tell him.

"She must be the togruta" he says.

"Yes, that was her" I tell him. "Now please be silent. You're making my head ache worse with your constant chatter" I state.

(Somewhere else) Third Persons POV

Hondo is talking to Turk as they walk down a hallway.  "I told you kidnapping the Sith Lord and his apprentice was a stroke of brilliance" Hondo brags.

"I can almost smell that spice now" Turk says. "It'll be worth twice as much to us on the black market. But I think we could've gotten a bigger ransom from the Separatists" he states.

"You fool. Sometimes I wonder why I bother to keep you around" Hondo says. "If we tried to ransom Count Dooku and his apprentice off to the Separatists, they would simply send their droid armies here to wipe us out" he states. "As my sweet mother always said; 'Son, if one hostage is good, two are better. And three or more? Well, that's just good business'" he explains.

"How much do you think they'll fetch?" Turk asks him greedily.

"Don't you worry about how much. You'll get your cut. Just see to it that the Republic's ransom gets here" Hondo tells him. "Once we get the ransom for the Sith and his apprentice. Then we'll get the ransom for the Jedi and their padawan. Thank you, mum" he says and leaves.

(Cells) Roxanne's POV

"What are you doing?" I ask Qui-gon as he raises his hand concentrating on using the force on something.

"Shush, I'm trying to concentrate" he tells me. I hear Master Obi-wan tell Skywalker to be quite as the count is also concentrating. Qui-gon and Dooku use a knife to open the locks. We exit our cells.

"Well done Qui-gon" Dooku says.

"Most impressive" Obi-wan says and looks at me. "Are you alright?" he asks.

"The sooner we get out of here, the better I'll be" I tell him. He nods his head. "Do you know a way out?" I ask Qui-gon and he nods his head. So we lead the way. With our masters and Skywalker following. They are whispering behind us.

"Be quite" Dooku tells them as Qui-gon drop kicks someone. Knocking him out. Skywalker examines him looking for a key.

"We were brought this way when we were captured" Qui-gon states. "It was open then" he adds.

"Hey, I found the door key" Skywalker states standing up holding it.

"This is the way to the hanger" Qui-gon and Dooku tell us. Pointing to a door. Skywalker approaches it.

"Yes, but are you sure it's safe?" Obi-wan asks him. The key card works and we are greeted by seven armed pirates. Four more appear behind us and Qui-gon steps in front of me with Obi-wan. I frown in confusion. I know why master is protecting me, but why is he?

We're taken back to the brig and placed in the same cell. Where a pirate appears. "That's Hondo, the leader" Qui-gon tells me and I nod my head in thanks.

"What were we thinking, following a Sith Lord and his apprentice?" Skywalker mutters.

"What to do, what to do, what to do?" Hondo asks himself. "I don't want to kill you, per se. In fact, you seem like decent fellows and lass. Even you, Count and your apprentice. This is just business. And once I get my money, we can go back to being friends" he states. "It's very simple. Now, try not to complicate things by breaking out again" he tells us before leaving.

"We have to get out of here before the Republic arrives with the ransom" Obi-wan states.

"For once, I agree with you" Dooku says.

"Kind of dumb of them leaving us al together" I tell Qui-gon.

"True, but they are pirates. What do you expect?" he asks me with a smile. I shrug. Honestly it's my first time meeting a pirate. I always thought it'd be exciting. Which it is, but I wish I didn't have to be forced to work with the enemy to escape.

Master Obi-wan uses a jedi minded trick to get our guard to open the cell and leave us alone. "Can you teach me that?" I ask him.

"Of course, but only for emergencies" he tells me.

"Not bad" Master Skywalker tells him.

"Oh, yes. Most impressive, Master Kenobi" Dooku praises. We make our way through the base being more careful. To avoid being seen. Though the three adults were bickering like children.

Soon the alarm goes off. Qui-gon and I use the force to block the pirates way with crates. We make it outside. "Now we just have to get beyond that wall" Master Skywalker states. He grabs a pole and I do the same with Qui-gon. We run towards the wall avoiding fire blasts.

We reach the base of the wall and pole vault onto the top. Qui-gon and I make it, and pull ourselves up. But only Master Skywalker reached the ledge and is trying to pull himself & the other two up. "This is not going well" he says. Qui-gon and I rush over grabbing his hands. We start to pull him up.

But the connection between Obi-wan and Dooku is broken. Making Qui-gon and I fall on our bums. "Father!" Qui-gon shouts and I look at him shocked.

"Master Kenobi has me!" Dooku says.

"Hey! What are you guys doing?" Skywalker demands.

"You lot are to heavy" I tell him. He tells Master Obi-wan to drop Dooku. The blaster fire stops. Qui-gon and I are pulled away from Skywalker. And are held at gun point.

"I guess this means we won't be friends" Hondo says as he taps his boot on the floor. "Take the boys to the holding cell" he says disconnecting me from Qui-gon. "The girl stays with me, should you attempt anything else, she will suffer" he states.

"Let her go" Qui-gon and Obi-wan demand. But they are ignored and lead away with the other two. I'm lead to the bar and cuffed to a pole. Soon a pirate appears and talks to Hondo quietly before leaving. Hondo tells three other pirates to get Obi-wan and Skywalker. I'm moved to a beam and am suspended in the air.

Master Obi-wan soon arrives with Skywalker. "I take it, the Republic didn't arrive with the ransom?" he asks and the pirates laugh.

"Your Republic obviously doesn't want the Sith Lord or his apprentice" Hondo states.

"They didn't show?" I ask confused.

"Oh, oh, they did. They did show with a huge army that they thought would be enough to get the better of me" he tells us. I frown, that doesn't sound right.

"That can't be right" Skywalker tells him.

"Are you calling me a liar?" Hondo asks him.

"Isn't that kind of what you do for a living?" Skywalker asks him.

"You reject my hospitality, bring an uninvited guest, refuse to wait in your cell. And now you're going to insult me?" Hondo demands.

"I'm just saying..." Skywalker starts to say.

"Anakin" Obi-wan tells him.

"What? He is a pirate" Skywalker states. I notice Hondo take a remote out of his pocket and tense.

"Yes, but this may not be the best time for you to speak. Remember what he said about Roxanne" Obi-wan tells him. But he was to late. Bolts of electricity run through me and I scream in pain. I hear Obi-wan and Skywalker trying to fight their way to me over my screams.

Suddenly the power goes out and I drop to the floor panting. "What happened to the power? I was having fun!" Hondo states. Skywalker grabs his saber, while Obi-wan grabs mine. He frees me as Skywalker holds Hondo hostage.

"Are you alright?" Obi-wan asks me.

"Everything hurts, but I can walk" I tell him in a hoarse voice. He helps me to my feet. We head for the exit and I grab Hondo's gun. We reach the hanger where the Twilight is and are greeted by tanks. But is was only a gungan and our clone troops.

"Mesa have arrived with the spicen" he states.

"Excellent, Jar Jar. Assuming the pirates still have Count Dooku and his apprentice to trade" Obi-wan tells him. But we see a ship leave and sense Dooku on it with Qui-gon.

"Well, that answers that question" Skywalker says as we head for the Twilight.

"Commander, start the engines, please" Obi-wan says. The commander nods his head and enters the ship. "Roxanne, go have the medical program examine you" he tells me. I nod my head and board the ship heading over to it. I activate it.

"How may I be of assistance?" the hologram asks me.

"I recently suffered a concussion and was just electrocuted for several minutes" I tell him. He scans me.

"Your body doesn't seem to of suffered any permanent damage. Though you will be sore for a while. These should help with the pain" he says and a bottle of pills appears. "I suggest resting and seeing a proper medic as soon as possible" he states before disappearing. I take one of the pills as the others board the ship. We soon take off and Obi-wan tells me to go to sleep. Which I do. Feeling exhausted from the days events.
