Dooku and Qui-gon Captured

Roxanne's POV

A manhunt has started for Count Dooku and this mysterious Qui-gon. Master Skywalker went missing. So Master Obi-wan and I have go to his last known location. A lone Separatist frigate in the far reaches of the Outer Rim. Ahsoka wanted to come, but she was left in charge of the jedi cruiser. That will come once we locate Master Skywalker.

"Stay close and don't make a sound" Master Obi-wan tells me. I nod my head silently. We make our way through the frigate avoiding droid patrols. We reach the brig undetected. It took a couple of tries. But we found the cell holding Master Skywalker. We returned his light saber before going in search of Dooku and Qui-gon. We find them both meditating in a room alone.

"Well if it isn't Count Dooku" Obi-wan says.

"Qui-gon" I sneer as we activate our light sabers.

"Keep your emotions in check" Obi-wan tells me.

"Obi-Wan Kenobi. I thought I sensed an unpleasant disturbance in the force. I see you've brought your padawan and have freed young Skywalker" Dooku says. "Where might he be if you weren't always around to rescue him?" he asks. Suddenly the jedi cruiser attacks. Good timing Ahsoka.

"Sounds like their cruiser is attacking Master" Qui-gon states opening his eyes. "If it isn't Roxanne, how's the head?" he asks me.

"Better then yours is going to be" I tell him.

"Your ship is surrounded, Count. Republic troops are boarding as we speak" Master Skywalker tells him.

"Jedi fools" Dooku says and a trap door opens. Qui-gon and him sliding down it. Master Skywalker and I go to follow them.

"What are you both doing?" Obi-wan asks us.

"Following them" we state.

"Not that way, we have to cut them off" he tells us.

"You both cut them off. I'll follow them and meet you at the hanger" Skywalker states before dropping through the trap door.

"Why do I even try?" Obi-wan mutters.

"Lets go Roxanne" he tells me.

"Yes Master" I say sheathing my saber. We run towards the hanger to cut Dooku and Qui-gon off. We reach the hanger to see them escaping on their ship with a fighter escort. We commandeer a shuttle and Obi-wan turns the engines on as Master Skywalker joins us taking the wheel.

"I thought you were following Dooku" Obi-wan says.

"I was. I followed him here" he states. "Hang on" he tells me and I hold onto the back of their chairs as he flies out of the hanger.

"Contact the cruiser" Obi-wan tells me.

"Ahsoka, Dooku managed to escape. We're in pursuit, but we could use reinforcements" I tell her over the com-link.

"Follow us in what ships you can round up" Obi-wan adds.

"We'll get there as soon as we can" Ahsoka assures us. Obi-wan tells me to hold on and starts to fire on Dooku and his escort. He manages to shoot Dooku down.

"That was easy" I say.

"Lucky for us, I'm an excellent shot" Obi-wan brags.

"Well, now those fighters are attacking" Master Skywalker tells us. Obi-wan assures us that he's on it. He starts to fire at the two fighters. He destroyed them both. But deprise from one of them took out our starboard engine. "Lucky for you both I'm an excellent pilot" he tells us.

"Roxanne go strap in now" Obi-wan tells me. I go to the rear and strap in. I tell them I am straped in. We crash land on the same planet Dooku and Qui-gon did. I unstrap myself and go survey the area. Soon the other two join me. "I've had better landings" he complains.

"Dooku and Qui-gon" I say pointing to their crashed ship.

"Stay close Roxanne" Obi-wan tells me. We approached the ship to see no one inside except the droid that pilots it off line. "What's this, a homing beacon?" he asks as we spot something transmitting on the hall of the ship.

"Which means they are waiting for help" Master Skywalker states.

"So they must be close by" I state and Obi-wan nods his head in agreement.

"He's engine is damaged, he's not going anywhere" he states.

"Not without a homing beacon" Master Skywalker says destroying it. We go search the caves. But there's a cave in.

"Why is it always the head?" I cough as I hold my bleeding head. "Master Obi-wan, Master Skywalker! Can any of you hear me?!" I ask. As I get to my feet.

"Roxanne!" they call and I follow the voice to the cave entrance.

"Dooku?" I ask.

"Who else?" Skywalker mutters as he searches for something.

"Are you ok?" Obi-wan asks me as he examines his lightsaber.

"Got hit in the head by a rock, otherwise I'm fine" I state. "Looks like we have some digging to do" I add looking at our blocked exit.

"Do you mind getting a head start on it? I have to fix my light saber and Anakin needs to find his" he tells me. I nod my head and start to use the force taking rocks from the top first. Suddenly I hear a screech and turn to see a gundark hanging from the ceiling.

I activate my saber and go to Obi-wan's side. As it attacks Master Skywalker. I give Obi-wan light as he continues to examine his saber. "Jump in anytime!" Skywalker calls to us.

"Oh, you're doing fine. She seems to like you" Obi-wan tells him.

"Yeah, lucky me! This isn't as much fun as it looks" Skywalker tells us.

"I thought gundarks were only found on Vanqor?" I ask Obi-wan.

"Then this system must be Vanqor" he tells me.

"So that'd make this one" I say pointing to the one chasing Skywalker.

"The mother of all gundarks" he finishes. "Glad to see you've kept with your studies" he states.

"Are you both going to help me? Or stand around talking?" Skywalker demands as the gundark grabs his leg. Obi-wan uses the force throwing a boulder at the gundark. Making her drop Skywalker. "Well, you took your time" he says. We all work together throwing boulders at it. It's soon buried under a pile of rock.

"It's a pity. I was just starting to sense a connection" Skywalker tells us.

"Should we leave you two alone?" I ask him smirking.

"Glad to see you have you humor still" he mutters.

"Would you both help me find a way out of this hole before she wakes up?" Obi-wan asks us. We get to work unblocking the entrance when we hear another gundark. "Sounds like another gundark" he states.

"It's too far away to worry about" Skywalker assures us.

"It won't stay far away" we tell him. They drop a large boulder. It cracks the ground open and gas steps to fill the cavern.

"That's not good" I say as I cover my mouth.

"It's just gas" Skywalker tells me.

"Probably toxic gas" Obi-wan states.

"That's good. Maybe it'll kill your gundark" Skywalker tells him.

Yea, and maybe it'll kill us" I couch. We work double time to move the rocks. My world starts to go dark. I fall to my knees as I have difficulty breathing.

"Rox---anne" Obi-wan coughs as he kneels beside me.

"Don't give up now" Skywalker tells us. The rocks are blasted away. The gas escapes into the open and I can breath easy again. We exist the cave to be created by Ahsoka, Captain Rex and a quad of clones.

"Looks like I got here just in time" Ahsoka states and I give her a grateful smile.

"What do you mean just in time?" Skywalker asks her.

"We were in a lot of trouble back there, thanks for the save" I say.

"We had the situation well under control, my little Padawan" Skywalker assures her.

"I see. So which part of the situation did you have under control: the blocked entrance, the poison gas, or that gundark behind you?" she asks him.

"Gundark?" he asks.

"You mean the one to far away to worry about?" Obi-wan asks as we look back at the cave.

"Block the entrance" Ahsoka tells the clones. They do so. We return to the cruiser. Where I am treated by a medical droid.

We soon get word that Dooku and his apprentice has been captured by pirates. Obi-wan and Skywalker go to confirm it is Dooku and Qui-gon. I snuck aboard the twilight and hid in a sotrage compartment. No way was I being left behind. Besides I'm the only one that can identify Qui-gon properlly. As I've seen his face the most clearly.

When we land I wait until they leave the ship. Before sneaking off going in search of the cells. I find them and see them in separate cells. I return to the ship and hide again. No doubt we'll leave soon.

But when they didn't return I grew worried. I grab my saber and head back to the cells. I find them in a cell. "Master" I say and unlock the cell. I rush over to them.

"Roxanne what are you doing here?" he demands.

"Saving you both apparently" I tell him as I examine the cuffs. "Lets grab Dooku and go" I state.

"Roxanne look out!" he shouts. I go for my saber but an stunned. The last thing I see is my master's worried face. The last thing I hear are the pirates laughs.
