CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE

A/N : continuation of the last chapter ( Chap. 20).

"Let's go?". Yaya ko kay Thirdy na nasa sala and playing with Davin.

He looked at my direction,matagal siyang nakatitig sakin that it made me conscious. Nag-iwas ako ng tingin ng bumaba sa tuhod kong lantad ang paningin niya. I'm wearing a dress because we're going to the church nga,the dress ends just above my knees. Medyo Malaki din since my smaller dress won't fit because of baby bump.

"Can you stop staring Thirdy?". Nahihiya kong sabi.

Para naman siyang natauhan,he cleared his throat before looking away.

"Yeah.. l-let's go". At nauna siyang maglakad carrying Davin.

He placed Davin on the backseat,I was about to open the door when I felt him hugged me from behind,I look back and saw him smiling.

"You're so pretty today". He whispered before touching my tummy.

I felt myself blushed.

"Too much kalandian can kill you". Sagot ko but deep inside... secret.

He just laugh and open the door for me. Halos buhatin na niya ako paupo.

"I can manage Thirdy". He stopped carrying me while his hand is still on my head to prevent from the  possibility na mauntog ako.

I purposely lift my head up so biglang tumama ang kamay niya sa bubong ng kotse,and I'm sure as hell it hurts  a LOT!

"Argh! Bea!". Sigaw niya,tumawa lang ako. Gosh I swear I miss bullying Thirdy.

"Daddy let's go!". Inip na sigaw ni Davin.

Thirdy looks like he wanted to throw a dagger on me but he just sighed and went to the driver seat. While he's driving I saw his hand turned red. Ngumiwi ako,ganun ba talaga katigas ang ulo ko?

I looked at Thirdy when I felt him grab my hand and put it on his lips. I bit my lower lip to stop myself from smiling. Damn! I can't let him know na kinililig ako,that would be ... Ew!

I just let him,he's holding my hand throughout the ride until we reach the church. Nabitiwan lang niya lang ang kamay ko when kailangan na naming bumababa. Kinuha niya si Davin sa backseat at kinarga,hinawakan naman niya ang kamay ko at naglakad na kami papuntang simbahan.

I saw people watching us,from sitting until the mass started people we're staring at us. Davin is sitting on Thirdy's lap. Nilalaro naman ng mga daliri ni Thirdy ang kamay ko. I just let him and focus on listening.

"Peace be with you".

"Peace be with you".

We greet each other and then to the people on my sides,Thirdy kissed my cheeks and hold my tummy.

"Peace be with you". I said to him

"I love you". Sagot niya.

I just rolled my eyes.

"Peace b u mommy".

"Peace be with you baby". I said to Davin before placing a kiss on his head.

Thirdy is also greeting those from his side,but one girl from the other row caught my attention. She's staring at Thirdy,if it's Thirdy ba talaga,I can't take my eyes of her so I know she's watching Thirdy.

"Where's my 'I love you too'?". Nabalik kay Thirdy ang tingin ko dahil sa sinabi niya,and when I looked at the girl again our eyes met.

She rolled her eyes at me before looking away,weird.

But I didn't mind nalang since baka iba yung tinitingnan niya.

"Sino na naman yang tinitingnan mo?". I blinked and look at Thirdy.

"Hm nothing". I answered.

He was about to say something when I priest proceeded the mass. After the mass,umupo muna kami. We let the people get out of the church first dahil medyo marami sila. The altar servants is with us since people want to take a photo with us,not that we don't want to do it pero masyado lang silang marami.

"Kuya hindi po ako magpapapic gusto ko lang ibigay to kay Davin". Sabi nung dalagita

"Me? Davin ? Okay,daddy can you get that". Turo ni Davin sa paperbag na inaabot nung babae.

"Oo sayo to baby boy".

"Eto rin".

"Here din".

"Ito din for kuya Thirds and ate Bei".

"Please ito na rin".

At sobrang dami na,nakakahiya namang tumanggi,kaya kinuha namin lahat.

"Pasenya na po baka pwede niyo na pong lisanin ang simbahan at ihahanda pa po ito sa susunod na Misa". Pakiusap nung isang altar boy.

"At kailangan na ding umalis nina Mr. Ravena".

Tumango naman ang mga tao at agad na nagsialisan.

"Thank you po,mauuna na rin kami".paalam ni Thirdy.

Ngumiti naman si Father

"God bless your family".

"Kuya kahit isang pic lang please". Napabaling ang tingin ko sa isang dalagita na nagbigay ng paperbag kanina.

I look at Thirdy,I nodded kaya hinayaan niya akong lumapit pero pagkatapos nun ay bigla na namang dumami ang mga tao,agad na pinulupot ni Thirdy ang isang braso niya sa tiyan ko protecting it.

''PARA SA THIRBEA''.sigaw nilang lahat at sabay-sabay na sinugod ang dalawa, agad namang niyakap ni Thirdy si Bea para protektahan ang tiyan nito.

I remember that time where I was pregnant with Davin but Thirdy didn't know,maybe it's a fatherly gut to protect his baby kahit nasa tummy palang.

Pilit pa rin akong ngumingiti sa bawat camerang nadadaan ng mukha ko. We're now walking to the parking lot, Thirdy's other hand around on my waist and other one's carrying  Davin. Ako ang nahirapan sa kaniya. Sobrang daming tao ang nagpipicture samin kaya pumasok agad kami sa kotse.

"Mommy". Davin called me uncomfortably and spread his arms. Kinuha ko naman agad siya.

He hugged me tightly and hide his face on my chest. Nakaupo na ako sa loob ng kotse and when Thirdy get a hold of the steering wheel agad kaming umalis.

We just went to a restaurant and have our dinner there. Napangiwi ako when I smiled smiled the lemon juice Thirdy is drinking. Ang pangit ng baho,iniiwas ko ang mukha ko sa side ni Thirdy when my eyes accidentally landed on the girl who's sitting just beside our table.

It's the same girl I saw in the church earlier. At nakatitig na naman siya kay Thirdy,napatitig na naman ako sa kaniya,now I'm really sure na she's staring at Thirdy,is she stalking him?

Napunta lang ang tingin ko kay Thirdy when I felt him held my hand.

"Hey, don't you like your food?". He ask softly.

I shook my head.

"Oh? What do you want to eat then?". Tanong niya

Hindi ko rin alam but I really like to eat ice cream

"Ice cream". Nasabi ko nalang.

"We'll grab some ice cream then!". I smiled when he said that.

"Yey! Cream!". Sigaw ni Davin

Natawa naman kami ni Thirdy

After paying our bill,umalis din agad kami. Thirdy held my hand as we walk out of the restaurant. He's carrying Davin on his other hand.

"Yey! aytkrem!". Sigaw ni Davin as he reached for his ice cream.

"Careful baka ma stain ang damit mo". I remind him

He nodded many times and started eating his ice cream.

"And here's for you babe". Si Thirdy.

My foreheads knotted when I saw na only me and Davin ang kumakain.

"Where's yours?". I asked him

He pointed my ice cream using his lips.

"What?". Mas na confuse ako

"I wanna share with you". He said and took a bite of my ice cream.

"Nah Thirdy! Kainis!". Inis kong sabi at nilakihan ang pagkain ko ng ice cream.

Sa sobrang laki muntik ko ng mailuwa,damn! And so I try my best to swallow it.

"Hahaha dahan-dahan kasi". Natatawa niyang sabi and wipe the side of my lips.

"And also this young man". I smile as I watch him wipe the side of Davin's lips also.

"Oops sorry". Cute na sagot ni Davin.

My smile fades when I saw the girl na naman. She's staring at Thirdy again,and she's also smiling. She's just a meter away of the ice cream stall where we are staying.

She looks like the same age as I am. She's not that tall but not short also,she's morena and she's pretty. When her eyes met mine,she rolled her eyes at me again. I was shocked cause now I'm sure that it's me who she just rolled her eyes.

Umiwas ako ng tingin,damn my patience. I shouldn't let her ruin my mood.

"Let's walk around? " Asked Thirdy.

"Sige". Sagot ko at agad na tumayo.

We walk around the mall, Thirdy kept on kissing Davin's head and mine.

"I love you". He keeps on whispering,I felt the whole zoo and my baby jump on my tummy.

But I chose to be quiet

Baka mag- "I love you too" na kasi

But as expected she didn't,I just let it pass anyway. I can feel it naman. We just roam around the mall. I wanna give Bea her cravings kaya isang sabi lang,I'll give her agad.

Hindi ko siya pinilit kahit gusto kong mamili na ng gamit ni baby.

"Babe,when can we know her gender?". I asked while we are on our way to their mansion.

"You're asking me about HER gender?" . I heard her laugh,and then I realize my question.

"I mean kailan tayo pupunta sa doctor? Though I really feel na babae to". And I caress her belly,my baby.

"So we don't need to na pala since Doc Daddy already spoiled us". I shook my head,I guess playful Bea mode is on.

"If ever may naisip ka ng name babe?". I asked her instead.

Sinulyapan ko siya dahil natahimik siya.

"Hmm the one that you suggested I like it". I smiled

"Yeah,I would really love to call her Deila Isabel". Natahimik siya ulit.

"Deila Isabel". When I looked at her she's smiling.

"Yeah,her second name is from yours".

"Hmm fair enough because Davin's name isn't related to mine naman".

Nilingon ko siya.

"It's not that my name is related in his as well". I answer

"No, related kaya! Thirdy and Forth hahaha ". Natawa nalang din ako,she make sense though.

"Oh aga natin ah". Pang-aasar ng teammates ko at kunwaring sinisilip ang likod ko.

"Tsk di ko sinama ang anak ko". Inis kong sabi.

"Ay sayang". Kunwaring ani Dwight bulol naman ang tagalog.

"Hoy kayo ha,humanda kayo sakin Mamaya". Banta ko at nilapag ang duffet bag ko.

I saw the lady eagles playing on the otherside of the court,how I wish Bea can play again. But not really,I don't want her play with a 5 months baby bump. But I know she's gonna comeback pa since Bea's still young. With her performance on the finals I'm sure there's  a lot of opportunities for her in the future and I'll be there cheerinh for her,me and the kids.

With that in mind,we started the training. Hindi ko alam kung bakit just the thought of my kids naiinspire ako.

"Ano ba yan,nalagot nga di man lang tayo hinayaang maka-score". Reklamo ng mga kasama ko.

"Yan wag niyo kasing maasar-asar tong bata ko". Si Zolo.

Tinabig ko ang kamay niya sa ulo ko.

"Manahimik ka Zolo ha".

"Hmm good job Ravena,well I guess you chose to be a basketball player than to be a father huh". Nawala ang ngiti ko, at napalitan ng pilit na ngiti.

"I chose both coach".

Nagtuloy-tuloy pa rin ang training

Ng matapos ay saka kami nagsiupuan at pagod na uminom ng tubig. Naagaw ng atensyon namin ang mga cheerleader na lumapit sa bench namin.

"Hi, Thirdy". Nag-angat ako ng tingin sa babaeng bumati sakin.

"Oh Biatrice.. right?". She's the girl na nakasabay ko sa gym the other day.

"You knew her Thirds?". Napatingin ako kay Julia when she asked me,I nodded.

"Yes,it's a long story". Sagot ni Biatrice.

Nilingon naman siya ni Julia I don't know what's going on but I think they're not good.

"I'm a new member of the cheering squad". Imporma niya,I just nod my head.

"Oh that's great ". Pilit kong sagot.

"Really great,magkikita tayo lagi since same schedule tayo ng training". Huh? she's acting really weird.

Tumikham si Julia.

"Anyway Thirdy how's Davin your SON and the new BABY". nagulat ako sa way ng pagsasalita ni Julia kaya hindi agad ako nakasagot,pinanlakihan ako ng mata ni Julia.

"Ahh yeah,they're fine,Davin is hindi pa naman lumabas ang second baby ikaw talaga Julia".

"Oh sorry I forgot,you'll be having  your second baby pa pala soon" .

"May asawa ka na?". Muntik ko ng makalimutan na andito pa pala si Biatrice.

"Soon". Si Julia ang sumagot.

Something is really off with this two.
