And obviously he supported her from the start and still he does however he became a bit jealous and possessive when got to know about her acting as protagonist with a 'famous actor' in the industry.

He knows that she loves him he too does but his heart was not ready to see her with another man even just for acting. And that's the thing they are squabbling about.
