it all started when you opened your small bakery in the heart of the busy city of tokyo.

the opening day was a successful one, with more than thirty customers visiting; curious about the new shop.

you were giving free desserts with every order, thanking them for choosing your bakery.

fifteen minutes before closing, a tall, blond man entered, carrying a briefcase in one hand.

the moment you heard the ring of the doorbell, you raised your head— eyes meeting his.

"hello! how may i help you?" you smiled.

kento stopped in his tracks, his eyes locked on you. your smile was so sweet and kind, and it appeared to be exactly what he needed to feel better.

"uh..."

he looked at the pastries and the rest of the goods that were left, before noticing the lone sandwich at the very end.

"i would like the sandwich, please"

"to go, or would you like to sit here?"

"to go"

kento had noticed that the tables were all cleaned up and the chairs tidy. the last thing he wanted was to keep you up longer than your work hours.

"would you like a free dessert, sir?"

"free?"

"it's the opening day, so customers can choose one dessert for free!" you smiled.

"then, i would like the strawberry tart"

you nodded, before packing up his order. he gave you the money, his fingers touching yours— sending a jolt of electricity through his body.

"have a good night" he smiled.

"good night, sir!"

the moment kento closed the door behind him, he released a breath he didn't know he was holding;

"shit... she's cute"
