[ FINAL PLAN ]

༺═──────────────═༻

"Tell me something." Octavia suddenly said as she sat next to Sayah while they waited at the door. They waited for anything; anyone of their people.

"What do you mean?" Sayah questioned gently.

"Tell me anything, to keep my mind off of worrying." Octavia clenched her jaw. "Worrying about Bellamy, about Clarke, about all of them."

Sayah frowned. What was she supposed to say? She had already reassured Octavia a million times over that everything would be fine. Her friends would get out and Bellamy would be with them. Everything would be okay.

"Tell me about you and Murphy." Octavia suddenly said, head turning to her.

"You really wish to speak about that now?" Sayah raised her brows in surprise. "While we are here, waiting—"

"Yes." Octavia stated. "I do. Tell me what it was like. You never even told anyone how you two. . . became so close."

"I was the one to capture him after your people banished him." Sayah chuckled. "I had first found him weak, foolish. But then. . ." She furrowed her brows in thought. "I held the blade to his throat, and he begged me to kill him."

"He wanted to die, Octavia." Sayah shook her head in disbelief as Octavia listened with interest. "And I realised that he was. . . just a boy."

   "So you spared his life?"

"Yes." Sayah nodded. "And the more I held him prisoner and the more we spoke, the more I learned about him." Octavia was silent, waiting for Sayah to continue. Sayah then chuckled. "It's humorous," She smiled. "How he was my prisoner and yet I let myself grow so attached to him."

Octavia then smiled. "Sounds like Lincoln and I."

Sayah laughed, truly laughed while she nodded. "Yes it does, doesn't it?" How strange.

When their laughter died down, Octavia pursed her lips. "When did you realise you loved him?"

Sayah was silent for a moment. "I'm not quite sure, if I'm being honest, Via. It just happened."

"Suddenly after him," Sayah's gaze fell to the ground. "I truly had something to fight for."

Octavia sighed. "You love him too much, Sayah." Sayah didn't reply. But she knew what she wanted to say.

   And I'll never stop.

Suddenly, the ringing of a buzzer resonated. "Finally." Octavia sighed in relief, getting up as well as Sayah to have a look what came out of the chute.

Sayah's eyes widened at the sight. It was a girl. But she was dead.

"Fox," Octavia breathed out. Sayah glanced to Octavia.

   "You know her?"

   "Yeah," Octavia murmured sadly.

Sayah's head suddenly turned up. "Do you hear that?" It was footsteps. "Someone's coming."

Sayah and Octavia cautiously approached the corner, hearing the footsteps increase in speed and volume as they drew closer. Sayah tightened her grip on her weapon.

Suddenly, the person turned the corner. It was Clarke.

"Octavia. Sayah." Clarke said, her voice shaky. "You two stayed."

Octavia turned around, her back facing Clarke. "Screw you." She muttered to Clarke. Then she turned back around swiftly. "Of course I stayed, I know where my loyalties lie."

"We have to get in there," Clarke announced, brushing past Octavia and Sayah. Octavia pulled her back by the wrist.

"If that was possible, do you think we'd still be out here?" Octavia asked her, gesturing to Fox's dead body.

Sayah licked her lips before approaching Clarke. "Why did Lexa sound the retreat?"

Clarke sighed. "She made a deal with Mount Weather. Freed the Grounders. Now we're on our own." They followed Clarke as she made her way towards the door.

Then suddenly she started harshly banging on it. Sayah and Octavia pulled her back quickly. "Are you crazy?"

"Stop. They'll know we're here." Octavia added. Clarke let out a sad sigh and turned away.

"What about Lincoln?" Octavia questioned and Sayah looked to Clarke for an answer. "There's no way he'd have gone along with a plan like this."

"He didn't." Clarke told them. "They took him."

Before Sayah could speak, Clarke suddenly raised her gun and pointed it at the keypad on the wall. Octavia put her gun down quickly. "What's wrong with you?"

"I am getting through that door!" Clarke replied determinedly.

"And that's your plan?" Sayah asked her quickly. "What will you do then?"

"Bellamy's counting on you." Octavia added. "Everyone's always counting on you."

"Well, what do you want from me?" Clarke asked Octavia, her voice breaking slightly.

"You trusted Lexa." Octavia began. "You let a bomb drop on Tondc. You let all those people—"

"I am doing the best I can!" Clarke tried to defend herself, raising her voice. Sayah run a hand down her face, turning away from the girls for a moment.

"Yeah, well, it's not good enough." Octavia told her coldly, shaking her hand.

"Via, that's enough." Sayah snapped, resting a hand on her arm to pull her back slightly.

Suddenly, the door beeped loudly. It was unlocked. All three girls turned their heads to it, raising their weapons. But the person that came out wasn't who they expected.

"Bellamy." Octavia breathed out in relief, embracing him quickly. He hugged her back, eyes glancing at Clarke briefly. When Octavia pulled away, Bellamy glanced over at Sayah.

"Good to see you," Bellamy nodded, panting slightly.

"Yeah," Sayah walked towards him and hugged him tightly. He tensed a little before gladly embracing her back. "Could say the same for for you." Sayah smiled in relief as she pulled away.

Sayah then turned to see another two boys with Bellamy. "I knew it," Octavia said to them. "You two are too scrawny to drill." She joked before embracing them.

When Octavia pulled away, they glanced over to Sayah nervously. Sayah eyed the first one, noticing his long dark hair. "Monty?" She questioned. He nodded slowly.

Sayah then turned to the other boy. His hair was more shaggier. "And Jasper, isn't it?" She added. Jasper nodded also, swallowing nervously. "I've heard stories. I'm Sayah." Sayah gave them a small smile. Octavia wrapped an arm around her shoulders.

"This is Lincoln's sister. And don't worry, she's a friend." Octavia smirked at her. Sayah chuckled.

Their smiles soon faded after they spotted a girl in a hazmat suit exit out the door. "It's alright. She's with us." Jasper reassured them.

After a moment, Jasper's eyes noticed Clarke. "Clarke." He called out to her before embracing her tightly. Monty soon joined in. Clarke hugged them back in relief.

Suddenly, the girl in the hazmat suit, Maya, looked down as her oxygen tank began to beep. Jasper approached her quickly, checking her time. "Thirty minutes." He whispered.

"We just changed it, that can't be right." Jasper said to her. She stumbled over his words nervously before turning to everyone. "It's her last tank."

"Okay, we'll find you another one." Clarke nodded reassuringly.

"All the supplemental oxygen is on Level Five." Maya explained fearfully.

"Easy. We just get you to Level Five then, right?" Sayah spoke up, surprising everyone.

"Five isn't safe for any of us." She replied.

"We'll take the trash chute again. It'll work." Jasper suggested.

"To get in maybe." Bellamy sighed. "But Maya's right, every soldier in this mountain is there." He paused. "We'll never make it out."

"We can do this." Jasper argued with determination. Bellamy gave him an unsure look. "We'll split up." Jasper added.

"Okay. You guys go for Dante." Octavia nodded. "We'll help Maya." Sayah and Octavia shared a look before unsheathing their swords and entering in through the door.

"Finally, a chance to use my sword after so long." Sayah smirked at Octavia.

༺═──────────────═༻

"Come on, we have to hurry. She's out of air." Jasper rushed out as they climbed out of the trash chute into the building. After Octavia was out with the help of Jasper, she turned to help Sayah climb out.

"Never doing that again." Sayah groaned as she stood up straight.

"First, you need to close the door." Maya panted. Sayah quickly shut the trash chute door and Maya took off her hazmat suit mask. She panted before catching her breath.

"Time to spare," She said causing Jasper to chuckle a little.

"She's safe." Octavia turned to them. "Can we go now?" Sayah followed after her as she went to leave.

"I'm not leaving you," Jasper said to Maya.

   "Jasper." Octavia warned.

"She's alive but she's not safe." Jasper argued.

"Cage knows I helped you guys, he's on Level Five." Maya explained, breathing deeply.

Sayah let out a sigh. "So, what do we do?"

Jasper pursed his lips before replying confidently. "We kill Cage."

Sayah shared a look with Octavia. Then she nodded, turning her head back to Jasper with a smirk. "We're in."

༺═──────────────═༻

"This is taking too long," Jasper panicked as he oaced around nervously, hands jittery on his gun. "What if she got caught?"

"We'd have heard something." Octavia simply replied.

"And what if she couldn't find Sergeant Lee or their protocol changed?" Jasper continued. "W—What if he got caught?"

"Jasper," Sayah caught his attention. "A warrior doesn't worry about what he can't control."

Jasper pursed his lips as her words and before he could reply. Maya had entered with Sergeant Lee. Jasper embraced Maya quickly, muttering out a "Thank God."

Sergeant Lee raised his gun at the two girls as they held up their swords, their stance defensive. "Lee, put down the gun." Maya demanded, shoving his gun down.

"Yes, Lee, put it down." Sayah smirked teasingly. Octavia held in her chuckle.

"You didn't say there were outsiders with you." Lee argued.

"They aren't outsiders." Jasper defended, raising an hand.

"We sort of are," Sayah tilted her head in thought.

"They're with us." Maya explained to Lee before turning to the trio. "Cage is in the dorms. They brought another group in from the Ark, more marrow. They're not even trying to fix the dam." She rushed out.

"How many soldiers with Cage?" Jasper questioned Lee.

   "Uh, six. Why?" Lee answered.

Jasper sighed before sliding off the gun strap that was around his shoulders. "Just get me close." He passed his gun to Maya. "They'll be happy you found another eight doses."

He stuttered before turning to Octavia and Sayah. "I need a. . ."

Octavia handed over a small blade nonchalantly. "Aim for the throat." She told him.

"Slash, don't stab." Sayah joined in with a nod.

"And make it deep." Octavia added finally.

Jasper nodded, hiding the blade in his waistband. He glanced nervously between the two girls. "You two. . . are like synchronised, huh?" He joked, but Sayah could tell he was nervous. Sayah chuckled a little while Octavia rolled her eyes playfully.

Lee approached Jasper, cuffing his wrists. "I hope you know what you're doing."

   "Me too." Jasper replied quietly.

As Lee exited, Sayah watched Maya approach Jasper and whisper something. Then she leaned in and kissed him softly. Sayah watched as a burning feeling built up in my stomach. Then she heard Jasper whisper three words to Maya.

   "I love you."

Sayah turned her head away and created some distance between herself and the couple. She swallowed hard as she heard a door open and close signalling Jasper had left with Lee.

The familiar ache of her heart returned.

Murphy mentally added another thing to his list of pet peeves.

   Sand.

As he awoke to harsh shine of the sun, he squinted, glancing around. He was still on the beach. The beach that Jaha had left him on as he went to chase a stupid drone.

Murphy didn't care. His arm still hurt and he was probably going to die out here. At least it was better than being thrown off a boat and fed to a sea monster by a faith-filled lunatic.

He got to his feet, glancing up at the lighthouse before taking a few steps forward. He stopped, glancing down at his feet and picking up what seemed to be the rest of some weird tech. He dropped it, realising it was indeed useless and continued walking. Until during one step, something under his foot made a noise. He paused.

Murphy crouched down, and brushed a heap of sand and leaves off the object to reveal a solar panel. He furrowed his brows.

Suddenly, there was a loud whirring noise, like something being started up and. . . music? Music started to play. Murphy blinked. Was he dead?

He rushed up the small hill, heading to the source of the sound. Until suddenly, he reached a wall. It was silver and patterned strangely. The music he heard was muffled. It was playing from inside. He knocked, thinking if there was indeed someone living there, he'd at least be nice. First impressions count, right?

   Nothing happened.

His eyes scanned over the wall— No. Door. Murphy's eyes spotted a small gap in between the middle of what appeared to be a wall. It was a door.

He placed his fingers between the small gap, trying to claw it open. It didn't take long. The door slide open slowly with a hiss and the music Murphy had heard was clearer now. He walked into the darkness slowly, but as soon as he fully entered, the lights on the sides suddenly brightened. Murphy nearly flinched at the sudden light. So weird.

He glanced around, noticing a stairwell in front of him. Murphy headed down the stairs cautiously. As he reached the bottom, he glanced around.

   It was nice. Really nice.

Murphy took a few steps forward, still looking around and he gaped at the place. A pool table sat in front of him and he almost dropped to his knees. But it got better. He turned slightly and his eyes widened at the sight of motorcycles and the racks of alcohol.

The corner of his lips twitched up in a small smile. "Promised land."

His eyes were then drawn to bags of food; lots of them. He rushed over and tore into one greedily. They were just crackers but. . . Hell, better than starving.

Murphy chewed before eyeing a bottle of dark liquid — probably alcohol but he wasn't complaining — that was accompanied by two glasses. He didn't hesitate, pouring himself a glass and taking a large sip.

"If only you could see this, Sayah." He grinned as he glanced around.

༺═──────────────═༻

"Long way from the Ark, huh?" Maya questioned Octavia. Maya paced around the room while Sayah and Octavia stood watch at the doors.

"Not my Ark." Octavia replied to the girl. "I didn't have a view either."

"Still. . ." Maya replied, glancing past Sayah and out the glass window of the doors. "I wish I could see it."

Sayah and Octavia shared a glance until Octavia paused. She looked over to Maya. "Maybe you can." Maya looked back to Octavia, confused.

"There's an airlock. We used to it hold Emerson." Octavia explained. "All we have to do is get you there, and. . ." She trailed off.

"So I could live in a cell?" Maya questioned.

"At least you could live." Sayah told her.

Maya didn't respond. Suddenly, the doors behind them burst open. Two teenagers entered, a boy and a girl, their lips attached. Sayah's lip turned up in disgust as she eyed them. She hated it. She hated seeing them. She didn't have that. She couldn't have that anymore. Rage built upside of her.

The couple soon spotted the three girls and their eyes widened. They rushed out. "Outsiders!" The boy yelled.

Octavia and Sayah shared a look before rushing after them. Maya tried to stop them, gripping their wrists to pull them back. "No, no, guys don't!"

But it was too late.

Octavia and Sayah turned a corner to see the couple point at them to two guards. "Outsiders. Behind us!"

"This one's mine, Via." Sayah said angrily as she sprinted forward. She threw her sword, landing it straight into one of the guards' chest. She then slid towards the other, kicking in his ankle, causing him to lose balance.

As he went down, she pulled her sword out of the previous guard's chest, and then sliced in an upwards motion at the second guard, slashing his throat. They were both dead. She panted, turning back to Maya and Octavia.

"Did that make you feel better?" Octavia questioned her in a tone that seemed scolding, eyebrows raised.

"Not at all." Sayah replied and she hated how broken the words sounded.

Maya's head turned at the sound of more guards coming. "Run." Maya ordered them and so they did. Maya led them quickly into the mess hall where they tried to walk through calmly. But obviously the sight of Octavia and Sayah was enough for people to gasp in fear.

"Not that way," Sayah hummed, eyeing her exit that now had guards covering. Their guns pointed up at the three girls. They turned around, trying to head the other way. "Nope, not that way either." Sayah muttered, spotting even more guards.

"Stop. Hands up. Hands up!" A guard ordered them. More guards surrounded them in a circle and the three girls crowded together, their hands raised in surrender.

"We can take them," Octavia whispered to Sayah.

Sayah chuckled and it sounded a lot like a scoff. "Don't try it, Via."

Before they could do anything however, the guards had come closer, grabbing them and pinning them to the floor. Sayah growled at a man's touch as he held her down. But suddenly, a loud ringing sounded through the mess hall. Sayah furrowed her brows as she felt someone's hands slip away from her.

She glanced up, noticing everyone around her seemed to choke and gasp as red spots appeared on their skin. Octavia and Sayah then turned to Maya, who struggled to breathe also.

"Maya—" Sayah moved quickly, grabbing the girl and pulling her into her arms. Octavia crouched beside them, holding Maya's hand.

Soon, Jasper had sprinted in and crouched down in front of her. "No, no—" He took her in his arms. "I'm here."

"Jasper," Maya gasped weakly.

"I'm right here." He held her tightly.

Sayah and Octavia moved away a little. Sayah's eyes glanced to the ground. "She was innocent," He heard Jasper whimper.

"None of us is innocent." Maya whispered to him. She gasped weakly once more, before her head lolled to the side.

"No." Jasper sobbed. "No." His hands shook and tears ran down his face.

Maya was gone.

༺═──────────────═༻

As Octavia and Sayah pulled open the doors, Sayah's eyes widened. Everyone was tied up by their wrists like animals.

"Hey!" Kane called out. "Get the keys from the guard."

Octavia moved quickly, grabbing the keys and unlocking Kane as Sayah's eyes glanced around at the Sky People. Her eyes fell on Abby who laid on the operating table. She rushed over and started to undo the restraints,

"Hey, hey Abby. It's me." Sayah whispered. "You're okay. You're gonna be okay." Kane joined her, undoing the last of the restraints.

"Where's Clarke?" Abby questioned weakly.

"Shh, she's fine. You're alright." Kane reassured her as he helped her sit up. Clarke, Bellamy and Monty soon rushed in.

Sayah took a step back, letting them have their privacy. She approached Bellamy. "You okay?"

"Yeah," Bellamy sighed. "Are you?"

"I'm okay." Sayah nodded, glancing around at the kids who rushed around and embraced each other after being freed. Kane soon approached them, resting a hand on Bellamy's shoulder.

"You did good," He told Bellamy. "Now let's get these people home."

"Yes sir," Bellamy replied but suddenly Octavia appeared beside Sayah.

"Where's Cage?" She questioned.

Sayah searched around. He wasn't here.

༺═──────────────═༻

Murphy wished Sayah was with him. As he did every day they spent apart.

He wondered if she was okay. As he did, just like every other day they spent apart.

He turned on TV in front of him, hearing a small beep from a monitor and suddenly the large screen turned on. It showed a man, who sighed as he sat on the couch.

"I tried to stop her," The man in the video said with a sniffle. "But I lost control." Murphy watched intently, chewing on another cracker.

"She got the launch codes." The man shrugged. "It was her. She did it." The man paused and then inhaled angrily. "But it was my fault." He added.

The man then took a shaky breath and reached over beside him, grabbing something. Murphy's eyes widened when it came into view.

It was a gun.

The man let a small sob and Murphy took a sip of his drink, eyes glued to the screen. "I'm sorry." The man simply said. "I'm so, so, sorry." He added finally before suddenly a gunshot rang out. The man had shot himself in the chest.

Murphy jumped in his chair out of fright, breathing heavily. What the hell was going on?
