"According to Lincoln's map, we're getting close." Octavia announced quietly as Sayah, Indra and some other warriors followed her. Sayah glanced around at the tunnels, narrowing her eyes.
"It's a maze. Lincoln should be here to show us the way." Octavia sighed.
"He wasn't ready." Sayah shook her head. "Even he knew that."
"He'll do well fighting with the commander." Indra added.
"It meant a lot that you forgave him." Octavia told her and Sayah nodded in agreement.
"He earned that, as did you, Sayah." Indra replied. Sayah gave her a grateful smile. Indra started to walk forward and they all followed her cautiously. "I've known Sayah and Lincoln since they were young. Lincoln always questioned our ways. It is not surprising Sayah followed."
Sayah rolled her eyes with a small smirk. Fair point.
"But, if you two ever chooses sides against the clan again, not even your bravery can save you." Indra added, sending a small look to Sayah.
Sayah didn't have a chance to reply as a clanging noise sounded behind them. One of Sky People guards turned around swiftly and fired.
"Stop shooting!" Octavia ordered.
"The Reapers are not the enemy!" Indra walked forward and shoved the man. He stopped shooting as Sayah let a sigh. It was silent for a moment. Sayah's grip on her sword tightened.
Octavia shook her head. "We don't kill them unless—"
She was cut off by a loud battle cry and several Reapers appeared out of the shadows. "Now!" Jackson yelled as he turned on the device that let out a high-pitched squeal.
The Reapers fell to the ground, cowering and holding their ears. "Tranquillisers. Go for the jugular." He explained. Sayah moved swiftly, sticking one into the neck of a Reaper beside her. The others did the same.
"Secure their hands and feet." Octavia told everyone.
"Well done," Jackson said as Sayah finished tying the restraints on a Reaper. "They'll be out for a while."
Jackson nodded, turning off the high-frequency sound. "We'll come back for them."
Indra flipped over a Reaper only to pause when she saw their face. Sayah glanced between the two. Octavia noticed as well. "You know him?" Octavia asked.
Indra didn't reply, only stood up slowly. "He'll be okay. Abby will help him." Octavia reassured. Indra unsheathed her sword, turning around.
"Let's go. We have to find that door." Indra said sternly. Sayah and Octavia shared a look before following after her.

"We found it." Octavia let out a sigh of relief as they reached the door. Raven and Wick had done their job, taking out the power so Clarke and the rest could get the main door open.
Now it was time for their job.
"You found it." Sayah corrected Octavia, a proud smile on her face.
"It appears we didn't need Lincoln after all." Indra added.
"Thank you." Octavia told them.
"You've done well, Octavia. . ." Indra paused, sharing a look with Sayah before turning back to Octavia. "Kom Trikru."
"What does that mean?" Octavia questioned nervously.
"What you think it means." Indra replied.
"I think I wanna hear you say it."
"You're one of us now." Indra clarified.
Octavia glanced over to Sayah for not even a second before meeting Indra's gaze again. She only nodded at her words.

Sayah knew something was wrong when the familiar sound of a horn rang out.
"We're retreating." Indra informed in confusion. Sayah took a step forward.
"I don't understand— Why would we be retreating?" She questioned, glancing between Octavia and Indra.
"That can't be right." Octavia shook her head.
"We have to go. Now." Indra rushed out, shifting her in spot anxiously. She put her sword away quickly as Octavia approached her, standing in front of her before she could leave.
"Indra, wait. They're still in there." Octavia argued. Sayah went and stood beside her quickly.
"Octavia's right, we can't just leave them."
"Our commander's out there under attack for all we know." Indra shot back.
"I don't trust her." Octavia admitted sternly. "Not after Tondc. And neither should you."
"I gave you both a direct order." Indra repeated, eyes darting between the two girls.
"Please." Octavia begged. "This was the plan, if we're not here with the tone generators when they come out—"
"Plans change." Indra cut her off.
"Octavia, Sayah, let's go." Caris called from behind them. There was a moment of silence.
"I'm not going anywhere without my brother." Octavia finally said. Indra menacingly took a step forward and placed a small blade to Octavia's neck.
Sayah moved quickly, gripping Octavia's wrist whilst her other hand firmly held her sword. "Indra, I won't let you kill her." Sayah shook her head. "Put it down."
She would fight if she had to.
Indra didn't even look at Sayah, her eyes never straying away from Octavia's. "You are no longer my second." Indra seethed to Octavia.
Indra then pulled her blade away with a slicing sound, leaving a small cut on Octavia's throat. But not enough to truly harm her. Then Indra turned to Sayah, eyes deadly. "I should've known you'd choose them."
Sayah clenched her jaw tightly, holding her gaze. Indra glared for a few more seconds before past the two. The other Grounders followed her and Jackson approached them slowly.
"Octavia, Sayah, please." He said. "Come home with us."
"We have no home." Sayah stated, gaze still forward. It was dramatic, but it was true. Octavia's position, she didn't really understand but, hers? John Murphy had left, and she had grown so attached to the Sky People. She couldn't leave.
Jackson sighed, shaking his head before dropping a backpack on the ground. "You'll need this." He said before walking away. The other Sky People guards followed after him.
Sayah grabbed Octavia's hand in hers. "I'm sorry, Via."
Octavia swallowed, small tears in her eyes. "Thank you for staying." Sayah nodded in return.
"And I'm not going anywhere."
