☆SEUNGMIN☆

I saw Hyunjin get out of his bed and go to Jeongin's bed to wake him up. I wondered what was going on, and my curious side came out.

"What??" Jeongin asked, barely even awake. I wondered what was so important that Hyunjin had to wake Jeongin up in the middle of the night. "C'mon!" Hyunjin said, persistent with Jeongin waking up. "Why??" Jeongin asked quietly. "Because...of... y'know," Hyunjin said, and my curiosity only grew. "Is Jay there?" Jeongin asked, now getting up. I wondered who the said Jay was and where there was.

They grabbed their coats and left the dorm, however, they didn't see me get out of bed and follow them out. I know I shouldn't have and that was an invitation to their privacy, but I still did. I just couldn't help myself.

I made sure to keep a safe distance between us. As we exited the dorm building, I regretted my coat. It was very cold. I almost wanted to go back to the dorm, my conscience finally catching up to me. However, I decided to continue with it because it is a bit too late to back up now.

I realized where they were going. The storage building.

They vanished inside, and I peeked through the window. There inside stood an unfamiliar male. I guessed it was Jay. He was very handsome with pleasant features that seemed to match perfectly with each other and suit each other perfectly.

I had to open the window slightly to be able to hear what they were saying. I winced when it made a loud clang sound. I quickly ducked when they all turned their heads to see what the unknown noise was. "What was that?" Hyunjin asked. Jay shrugged. "It doesn't matter," Jay said. I let out a sigh of relief. Their focus once again went to each other and their conversation, but Jeongin's gaze lingered at the window a little longer than everyone else's.

"Ok, so have you got all the parts?" Jeongin asked. "Yep! I just need to assemble them...come look!" Jay said, ushering them over to a big box. He opened it and took the contents out of it one by one, being extra careful. "Are you sure the machine will be big enough for both Seungmin and me?" Jeongin asked. "Yep! I made them bigger." Jay said. "When do you think it will be finished? I don't think I can handle it any longer. Also, Seungmin's already having headaches." Jeongin said, clearly stressing out. "I'll be able to finish it within this month. Are you sure you'll be ok?" Jay asked, looking at Jeongin worriedly. Jeongin nodded, but it wasn't that convincing.

A billion questions were going through my head. 'Seungmin and me'? What does he mean? And what does it have to do with me? Before I could stop myself I busted through the door, frustrated with not knowing all this shady business. Everyone's faces turned to me.

"Oh...hi Seungmin...watcha doing here??" Hyunjin asked casually. "I heard everything...there is no use in pretending," I said, annoyed with the straight-up lies that Hyunjin was able to say so easily to me. It honestly broke my heart.

☆JEONGIN☆

I was surprised that Seungmin was here but also not surprised...? It's not that I expected it though. Hyunjin looked at me in confusion. "You mean you never told him everything??" he asked. I looked at my shoes and shook my head. "YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO!! But...y'know what...it's fine...you can tell him now. Jay, let's go." he said, glaring at me. I knew he wasn't mad at me, just disappointed. I told him I would tell Seungmin everything but I didn't. Hyunjin grabbed Jay's arm and left with him, leaving me and Seungmin alone in the storage room.

"So...are you gonna tell me?" he asked coldly. "I've been eating chocolate spaghetti (a/n: i honestly just wrote any random thing here ok?? i never even tried that shit) almost every evening since I left," I said. Seungmin looked up at me in surprise and disbelief. We used to love chocolate spaghetti. It's an 'American thing' but we got the idea from the Elf movie we used to love. "I still dip my french fries in my milkshake (a/n: I've tried that before its honestly not that bad)." I said and he looked up at me like he just realized what I meant by saying all this.

These are all the things that we used to do together.

I'm the Jeongin he has always known (a/n: ACT SUPRISED, PEOPLE!!).

He ran to me and jumped on me with a hug. He wrapped his legs around my waist and I (tried) to carry him while hugging him back.

"I've missed you!" he said. He released me from the hug but didn't take his arms off my neck. Instead, he looked down at me.

"I've missed you too..." I said.

It was really tough having to hide who I really was from my best friend, but I decided to do it because...well...I don't know. I just couldn't bring myself to tell him. It was absolute torture to have to see his thoughts about 'his dead best friend'. Because it was obviously me.

Then he suddenly planted his feet on the ground and backed away from me. "Then how can you read my mind? How do you have these weird abilities that you can have here?" Seungmin asked. "That's cuz you get them after 44 days...or one month and two weeks after you are here...it's how it works. It's weird but that's how it is. For example, if someone from here goes over to our dimension they lose all their powers. I was really surprised when I realized that I could read everyone's mind and all these weird stuff kept happening to me. But you'll get used to it." I said. He took a step close to me, with just three inches between us. "I don't want to get used to it. I want to go home with you!" Seungmin said firmly. "I'm sure you heard Jay say it, but in a month we can," I said. Seungmin smiled and slowly wrapped his arms around my waist.

The hug was calmer and longer than the first one.
