☆CHAPTER 2☆

☆SEUNGMIN☆

I soon fell asleep. However, not even ten minutes into my nap, I got woken up by a strange feeling. It felt like I was as light as a feather...yet at the same time, I felt firm in my seat. It was a weird sensation. The sensation didn't last more than five seconds before it disappeared like nothing happened out of the ordinary. I shrugged it off. I'm too tired to think properly anyways. Once again, I snuggled in my seat and fell asleep.

"We have arrived. Please collect your things, and exit the train," said the silky soft voice from the speaker located in our cabins. I rubbed my eyes, trying to remove the sleep from them. However, Hyunjin and Felix were still sleeping. I sighed and tried to wake them up softly. They did and looked around them. "H-hi, it's time to go," I said. "Oh, uhm thanks," Hyunjin said. "What's your name?" Felix asked. I looked at them strangely. Didn't I already tell them? "Uh, I'm Seungmin," I said, choosing to answer. "I'm Felix, and that's my boyfriend, Hyunjin!" Felix said as he picked up his bags. "Hi," Hyunjin said with a grin on his face. I quickly took my things and left. It creeped me out. Everything about it.

I exited the train. There was a group of adults screaming. "KWANJU ACADEMY STUDENTS, THIS WAY!!" the adults yelled. I quickly went to the line. A few minutes later they started calling the names on some list that a young blonde lady was holding. "KIM SEUNGMIN!?" "HERE!" I yelled. They checked something on the list and continued with the list.

"Hey!" said a familiar voice in my ear. I quickly turned around to see Felix and Hyunjin standing there. "Oh, hi," I said. "So, what year are you in?" Felix asked. "11th," I said, getting deja vu from the last time. What the hell is this? "Us too!" Hyunjin exclaimed with another one of his grins. "Listen, didn't you guys already ask me this?" I asked. They looked at each other in confusion. Clearly they don't remember or are acting stupid on purpose. "No...?" Felix said, his confusion clear on his face. He doesn't remember. "S-sorry, my bad!" I said. "It's fine!" said Felix. We talked for a little while (most of the stuff repeated from our last conversation). Even so, I didn't mention our past conversation again.

☆☆☆

"Ok! We'll be boarding a bus! Everyone follow!" yelled an adult. We all followed. At the bus, the adults once again did the roll call. I put my earbuds on, wanting desperately to be lost in the music. But even the music didn't stop me from overthinking everything that happened.

☆☆☆

About half an hour later, we finally reached the end of our trip. We saw the big school- Kwanju Academy. I looked at it in awe, it's bigger than I thought it would be. Everyone started exiting the bus and going in a straight two-file line as the teacher said. I was the last to leave the bus. Another bus soon came and stopped in front of us as more students filed out of it. I waited anxiously to see Felix and Hyunjin. Sure enough, they exited the bus and waved at me. I waved back.

The teacher (once again) did the roll call. Everyone was chatting with their friends, only paying the slightest bit of attention to the teachers when they called their names. One by one they called them and finally we were heading into the school. Honestly, it feels like a school field trip by how much they did roll call.

The school was huge and very beautiful. It must have cost a fortune.

We entered the main hall which had many rows of benches with cushions to sit on. A woman in about her forties was waiting for us. When we all settled into seats (I sat next to Hyunjin and Felix), she went to a stand that had a microphone to make a speech. "Welcome back or welcome to Kwanju Academy, students! You are all very privileged to be here. I'm Lee Ji-Eun, the headmistress of this school. The deputy headmaster will give you more details," she said, giving a smile to the young-looking deputy headmaster. He nodded and she stepped out of the mic.

"Hello, students! I am Park Jimin, in charge of discipline in this school. I will give you some brief information for you to know. The dormitory building is split into three stories- one for each grade. The first years will be on floor 1, second years on floor 2, and third years on floor 3. Easy enough to remember...right? Each floor is separated into two sections- one for the girls and one for the boys- no mixing allowed. Each dorm is made for four people. The rules will be in a kit you will find in your dorms and if you have any questions, please feel free to ask me! Thank you for your attention. You may all leave to your dorms with your teachers," the deputy headmaster said.

"OK GIRLS COME HERE!!" said the same blonde lady I saw earlier. "BOYS OVER HERE!!" said a male teacher. The genders split into two groups. "Where do the transgender people go?" I heard a transgender girl ask. "Whatever you are comfortable with," a teacher said. She beamed. This school is pretty famous for being pro LGBTQ+, so there are many people from the community here.

We walked as a group to the dormitory building and soon were told our rooms. "What's your room?" asked Hyunjin, making me jump up. "Oh...213," I replied, showing him my key. "OH MY GOODNESS, SAME!!" Hyunjin said dramatically. "I'm in 215," Felix said sadly. Hyunjin's smile disappeared when he remembered that his boyfriend isn't in the same dorm as him. "See you later, Lix!" Hyunjin said, wrapping him in a warm hug. "I'll see you there," I said, turning to leave, not wanting to be in the awkward situation any longer. The self-hate that is always there in me rose up.

"If you didn't let Jeongin kill himself maybe you could have someone to hold you,"

Oh, fuck this.
