The ambulance came, sirens blaring down the road, I was still holding him close to me trying to wake him up, the paramedics came rushing over one tried to take me away from him 'NO!' I was staying right there! 'Right he's alive, his pulse is weak he's just unconscious, he's lost a lot of blood' they packed him up and carted him off in the ambulance, they wouldn't let me go as they wanted all the room so they could work on him. I stood there shaking, covered in his blood, mascara down my face. Still crying Kobi came to me with a blanket, 'here' I turned to face him, he wrapped his arms around me hugging me tightly 'I need to be there, I need to go' I began to get hysterical now 'one of us can take you up in a minute' That wasn't good enough 'no I need to be there now!' 'Ill take her' mouse came out with his keys, I mouthed a thankyou.

On the way, it felt like the longest journey in my life. I was sat in his car, looking down at my hands, they were stained red and shaking, they wouldn't stop shaking 'are you okay' he brought me from my little bubble 'Charlie are you okay?' I nodded, I couldn't speak, 'I can't lose him' I broke down in tears again 'hey, hey! You won't lose him, he's going to be fine!' 'There was so much blood, he was so cold' I turned to look at him tears brimming in my eyes he held my hand and squeezed it, 'he's going to be fine' he kept repeating but all I could see was the look in his eyes, those once warm welcoming eyes had turned so painful and cold. Leapt out of the car, mouse had to run to catch up to me, it dawned on me I didn't know where I was going 'this way' he grabbed my hand and we ran to the accident and emergency. We went to the desk 'has a man come in' I was making no sense 'miss we've had plenty of men come into AnE' my mind went blank I held my hands up to my head and moved them down to me neck, hey eyes opened wide 'miss you're covered in blood! Do you need help?' I was about to answer when Mouse stepped in 'Ryan Clark, came in with a stab wound' she typed and clicked away on her computer 'he's gone in for surgery' 'where??' 'Ill get someone to take you to the waiting room' 'thank you!' I ran and followed the man, everyone in the emergency room staring at us.

We arrived at the waiting room, it was only us there we sat down, well Mouse sat I walked up and down across the floor, up and down he was in there for ages, 'think he's okay?' 'Hes going to be fine, look do you want a coffee.' I nodded and tried to give him some money I had in my pocket 'no' he pushed my hand away 'ill get it' he went and I was left on my own, I sat down and put my head in my hands, everything was perfect why did this have to happen...if i saw that bloke again id kill him. Mouse came back with two coffees, they were disgusting...but they'd do. I lifted the cup to my mouth but I was shaking to much I had to put it back down. Mouse leant down in front of me 'look at me' I looked into his eyes 'Whip will pull through this, he's strong and everything will be fine, stop shaking take deep breaths' I followed his instructions and managed to stop my hands shaking. We sat and waited for an hour, the door to the waiting room opened...we both stood up. 'Whats happening!?' I started to shake again, Mouse put his arm around me 'there was a complication in the surgery' I burst into tears, he was gone...no it couldn't be true, my tears were flowing even mouse welled up....'miss we managed to save him, he'd lost a lot of blood, but we did a transfusion and stitched him up he's in a recovery room on the ward away from everyone else, you can go and see him if you wish, I can get a nurse to take you' he smiled I ran and hugged him 'thank you, thankyou so soo much' I sobbed, we followed the nurse into his room.

He was laid there wires attached to his hands, he looked so peaceful, I took a deep breath and walked in 'miss he won't be awake for an hour or so, but when he does in sure you'll be the first he will want to see' she smiled and rubbed my arm, 'thanks' I blubber as we slowly walked into the room. I phoned Em 'Oh my god Charlie are you okay?' 'Im in the hospital' I began and told her about whippet and what had happened. 'If you need anything love I'm here' 'thank you'...

I brought a chair round to the side of his bed and took his hand in mine. 'Ill get off and tell the guys everything' I nodded 'thank-you for everything mouse' he stroked the back of my head and left leaving us alone. 'Wake up whip, show me those warm welcoming eyes again, I'm so glad you didn't leave me, I don't know what I'd do without you' I welled up again, I rested my head in the side of his bed and closed my eyes. Tired from all the crying.

I woke up to people shushing each other, I sat up to all the lads around the bed, Kobi, Chappo, mouse box the lot of them. 'Hey' I smiled softly 'hey' they all said back 'how is he?' Asked Chappo 'he isn't awake yet but he's alive and going to be on the mend' I then heard quiet muttering I turned my head 'Charlie'. It was whip he was awake 'get the nurse! I'm here whip' tears filling my eyes again 'w w w what h happened' I swallowed to try and stop myself from blubbing 'you got stabbed and I thought I'd lost you' a tear rolled down my cheek 'you can't get rid of me' he smiled slightly , he was back, the man I loved was back, I looked down and at the lads who were all watery eyed I faced back to whippet, he lifted his hand up to my cheek and wiped the tear 'don't cry' his voice was quiet but it was good to hear. The nurse came in and checked him all took off everything off he no longer needed and sat him up in bed. He still looked groggy but he was awake and on the mend.
