Chapter 25

6.00am wide awake thinking about my first day at the cafe. I was really nervous, Whippet turned over on his side to face me, 'sup chick you keep deep sighing' I turned over to face him 'I'm just nervous' he rubbed my arm then placed his hand on my cheek, I placed my hand on top taking his hand in mine 'you will do great! I can call in later if you want? Make sure you're okay' he was sweet, I closed my eyes and kissed his hand 'I can't expect you to take your lunch break and spend it in some cafe' he frowned at me took his hand away and playfully hit me on the top of the head 'ow!!' I giggled 'that didn't hurt' 'it did too! What you do that for' I faked the pain and rubbing the top of my head 'knock some sense into you, when are you going to get I would do anything for you?' I stopped rubbing my head, I couldn't help but smile 'I love you' he brought me in close to him, resting his head on mine and stroking my hair, 'I love you too'. Just as we were getting comfortable his phone buzzed, he deep sighed and reached for it it's Box I best get this I nodded then my phone buzzed, Emily 'hey Hun you okay?' 'Yes love, jut wondered what time we opening?' '9.00' 'ah cheers love, I'm here so ill start the ovens and warm up the coffee machines' 'okay Em, see you soon' 'bye love' 'bye'. me and Whip both finished not he phone at the same time. We both looked at each other and sighed 'guess no late morning this morning then' I laughed softly 'no, guess not' he couldn't hold back his smile, we both climbed out of bed and got dressed.

I put my hair into a messy bun again, straightened my fringe and decided on a natural make up look. He threw on his lifeguard gear, never realised how he spiked his hair up in a morning. He was in the bathroom sorting his hair when I came in and wrapped my arms around him 'hunnnyyyyy' this way always worked on my dad when I wanted something lets hoe it worked on whip too. 'What you after ?' 'Fancy driving me down to the cafe with my stuff?' I batted my eyelashes 'yeah course I will' he smiled yay the way worked on him too! Hmmm that could come in useful in the future...

I packed his car up with all the goodies and he dropped me off outside, helped me carry all the stuff inside, Em was in the back she came tottering in smiling at me, whip had gone back the car to get the last cake 'hey love you ready for today' 'I am I am' jus them the door went and whip came in with the cake her smile went, 'Ryan? Ryan Clark?' I turned round to face him 'Mrs Downes?' Aww this was adorable watching these two. 'You still remember me then?' She continued 'how could I forget you? You were my favourite person!' He sounded like that little boy from home and away again, with his front teeth missing and his cute little freckles. em reached into her pocket and pulled out a pack of sweets his eyes lit up, I took the cake before he dropped it, I couldn't sell I chocolate splodge. I watched how he took his sweets, he hesitated like he wanted to hug her, she didn't hesitate she full on grabbed him into a bear hug. He gladly hugged back. After 30 minutes of them catching up whip stood up, 'guess I'd better go' he paused 'ill be back at dinner' he smiled 'ok Hun' he came and kissed me goodbye and waved to Em. 'Isnt he lovely, he still remembered me' she sounded really touched 'you both suit each other very well, you're lovely, funny, beautiful, dirty minded and can handle someone like Ryan' she paused 'and Ryan is gorgeous but I be he's a handful' she laughed, I hadn't had to deal with the handful side yet, but I was ready for him.

The clock turned to 9.00 I unlocked the door and propped It open, we both tied our aprons around us ready for the day. The odd jogger ran in for a coffee...it was a start! It got to dinner time when Whip came back in 'ill have 6 coffees and 6 slices of chocolate cake' I went and made his coffees whilst Em cut the cake 'there you go love' he smiled and paid her, I made the last coffee in the take out cup and put it in a holder 'manage all those?' I smiled 'I brought the car' he winked 'you lazy sod' Em joked he smiled 'how's it been?' 'Slow but that's what we expected, a few joggers and office workers nothing much but it's a start' I smiled 'it'll pick up' he smiled, just the three teen girls walked in 'grab a table ill be with you in a sec' they smiled at me and chose a table 'ah see!'

Then we heard Whips name mentioned, it was from the girls 'god he's so hot' one of them said, whip pulled a pose, we continued to listen 'I can't believe he wasn't at the beach this dinner! I so needed to meet him' another said 'he's so hot' the first kept repeating. I walked over to their table and took orders, 3 choc chip muffins and 3 lattes, we prepped them, they were still swooning over whip, I leant in close to him 'go and make their day' I smiled 'how?' I paused 'take them their order' he thought about it and agreed. Me and Em watched as he took them over, 'there you go ladies' 'cheers' one said not even looking up 'thanks' the other said the last one looked up at him 'Oh My GOD!!' The other two girls looked at her 'what?!' She pointed at whip, the two girls followed her finger, the place erupted with girly screams phones getting whipped out flashes everywhere, after 5 minutes he gave me a look of help so I rushed over 'okay girl I think he's had enough' 'why are you in here!?' One asked he looked at me 'I was just visiting my girlfriend and getting some orders from the lads' they turned to look at me I smiled and waved walking back to behind the desk 'she's really pretty' one said to him I heard him laugh 'right girls lovely to meet you but I need to get back' they all sighed and sat back down, he came over to me kissed me and walked out, we were being watched the whole time.

The three girls rushed over to me 'OMG whats he like at home?, is he a good kisser god you two are perfect for each other!' I managed to answer all trend questions until they eventually left, more than happy. I tuned round to face Em, we both just burst into hysterics.

The rest of the day began to pick up, everything was perfect how could I have got so lucky?, locking up time. We turned everything off and locked up, Em's husband came to pick her up, I had to walk back. I waved her off and began to walk home.

When I reached the door there was a handwritten note stuck to it, *first clue on the table* I walked in and saw the first clue. What was this?? I went to the table and read the note *i need to be taken out* what was that supposed to mean!? I looked around, my surfboard! I ran over to find another note, I followed all these notes, the final one was on my Bondi Boxsets *come upstairs* the note was attached to a rose I picked it up and ran upstairs, there were little red arrows dotted around the house all pointing to the bedroom by now it was 8.00pm. I slowly opened the door, Whip was laid on the bed with a pair of new granny pants, and a pillow...he laid there smiling at me I dropped the rose, and jumped on to the bed into his open arms...
