Chap. 6/7
07:44, 6 November 2017Own plot the rest belongs to SM. NOTE!
Chapter six was somehow deleted which pisses me off! So I'm just gonna have to write it combined with chapter seven. So I hope I really get some comments!
Chapter six
*Bellas POV*
The next morning I skipped downstairs with a smile on my face. Charlie noticed right away and couldn't help but say something.
"Someone looks happy. Did you see Jacob last night?"
With all that had happened with the vampire last night I kinda forgot about hanging out with the pack.
"Yeah. He has really grown up. I might run again tonight to see him." I shrugged.
Charlie had to go to work so he left and I sat in his chair thinking. School will be interesting today.

I sat on one of the benches in front of the school and waited for the bell to ring. A song came on through my earbuds and I moved reflexively to the beat as I watched the vampire from last night pull up in his Volvo.
The graceful, elegant, chalk pale vampires filed out. Some of them holding hands except for the one who talked to me last night.
He passed me and I couldn't help but laugh out loud. He gave me a look and my lips pressed together to hold in laughter.
I know what you are! I wanted to say but held it in. Then the moment was gone and the rest of them passed me by.
Just then the warning bell rang.

*Edwards POV*
I couldn't help but think of the jungle cat ever since it left. It's sleek black coat, flashing golden eyes, and coiled muscles waiting to spring. For the rest of the night and into early morning I had been drawing the cat. Papers littered my floor, the cast offs from not getting the eyes right.
Soon Alice was knocking on my door for school. I slid my sketch pad in my backpack to work on later.
It was at lunch I was finally able to sit and try to draw the cat. My whole concentration was dedicated to the paper and pencil I held.
I hoped with everything I had that I would see the cat tonight.

AN; I know that was a short chapter six but I couldn't really remember what exactly I wrote but at least you also have chapter seven!
*Bellas POV*
"Bella?" Charlie called out.
"In the kitchen." I replied.
He lumbered in and sat at the table. I couldn't help but laugh at the state he was in. Covered in dust from head to toe!
"Dad what happened?" I asked while still snickering.
Charlie frowned. "Digging." He said with a scowl and then left to clean up.
Dinner flew by and then I shifted. The forest was full of life tonight so I stopped and listened. Owls hooted over head, crickets sang, squirrels fought for food, and the bugs click clacked up trees. So much life that could be wiped out in seconds.
And they didn't even know it.
I guess you could say the same for humans.
**
La Push came into view but there was no Bonfire like last night. In fact everything was very quiet.
Quickly finding Jacobs scent I jogged to his tiny red house. I scratched at the door to be let in and Billy opened the door. He let out a surprised yelp to find a jaguar on his door step.
Billy took a few steps back ready to close the door but before he could I cocked my head to the side and mewed while laying down.
Tentatively he called Jacob. He came lumbering down the short hallway and looked questionably at his father.
"There's a jaguar on our door step." He told him disbelief.
Jacob laughed then looked at me. "Come on in Bella!"
I hopped up and trotted inside, brushing against Billy's legs.
"Oh Bella! I didn't recognize you in that form!" Billy let out a sigh of relief.
I let a choked laugh leave my throat and followed Jacob to his room. "You can change back in here. Just let me know when your decent." He said cheerily and closed the door.
The shift took seconds and I dressed then opened the door. Jacob was leaning against the wall.
"It's great to see you!" Jacob pulled me in for a none crushing hug which I returned with my own strength.
"You too! We didn't get to talk that much last night."
"I know. But that run was something! Why did you come as a jaguar today though?" Jake asked as we sat on his small bed.
Shrugging I explained to him. "I like being a jaguar. More agile in Arizona."
"Makes sense." He replied with a nod. We proceeded to talk for another hour and then left, knowing he had to run perimeter in the morning.
Before I left I asked him about the vampires in my school.
"You found out huh?"
"How could I not? They look nothing like students!" My hands flew through the air for exaggeration.
He took a deep breath. "They moved here a few years ago." He started. "Well I should say they moved BACK. The Cullen's. My great grandfather ran across them along time ago and was about to kill them when the leader told him they were vegetarian vampires." He spit out the words like a joke. "He believed them when he saw them hunt an there golden eyes."
"So that's why they have gold eyes? Unreal. Vampires who cast off their natural instincts to live beside humans?"
Jake nodded in understanding. "Yea. The leader is a doctor for the hospital in Spokane. A vampire doctor?" Jacob laughed and I joined in. It just sounded so unrealistic.
"So how many are there in the coven?" I asked.
"Oh no, they don't call themselves a coven instead they call themselves a 'family'. There are seven of them."
"Seven? I've only seen five. But why don't you just kill them?" I asked.
"We made a treaty. They stay off our land and don't hunt any humans in Spokane and we don't kill them. They know they would be wiped out if they got us angry. There are a lot more of us then them. Uneven fight."
Now as I ran trough the darkened forest I thought again about the forest right outside my house. How they could all be wiped out but they didn't know it.
The difference between the Cullen's and the forest life was that the Cullen's knew.
**
The bronze haired Cullen was waiting in the exact same spot as yesterday. When he saw me come through the brush he smiled.
"I didn't know if you were going to come." He said an I noticed the sketch pad laying on a root.
I huffed at him and sat down to clean my paws.
"May I draw you?" He asked as he sat down a few feet from me. I looked at him and huffed in agreement, secretly pleased he wanted to draw me.
"Stay still." He ordered and I narrowed my eyes at his commanding tone.
Just to make him mad I turned around so my ass was to him and sat back down. When he looked up he laughed and came around to my front.
"Stay still." He ordered again so again I moved my ass to face him.
This little game continued until he learned not to say anything. Good.
He can be trained.
As he drew my eyes started to droop so I put my head on my paws and yawned.
I heard him rustle and opened one eye to look at him.
"I wonder what my family would think if they saw us right now." He wondered out loud and my ears perked at the mention of 'family'.
He continued to talk so I listened with my eyes closed.
"Alice, she's the smallest of our family, can see the future." I cocked my head and looked at him with wide eyes, forgetting that I was suppose to be just a stupid animal.
Seeing my form seemed to listen more closely to him at his information he kept talking. "She can see the future but its not set in stone. Anything can come along or interfere. That's the way we get our money. Stock market trends. An then theres Jasper. He's a quite vampire who is Alice's mate. He has a gift for controlling people's emotions. If a room is angry he can make them calm. It's very useful with a house full of vampires." He paused in thought then continued what he was doing with his hands while talking to me.
"Carlisle, my father, or creator I should say, is a doctor in this town. He is the one who turned the whole family excluding Alice and Jasper. Rosalie, I guess you can say, is selfish. She thinks she's the most beautiful person and vampire on earth." He snorted. "Emmett though is a great brother, Jasper is too but Emmett seems to be the most childish one of us." He laughed and I listened to it bounce off the surrounding trees. "Rose and Emmett are mates. Carlisle is mated to Esme, she's a wonderful woman, basically a mother to us." He said her name with such affection that I gently purred.
When he didn't tell me his name I stepped forward him looked at him intently.
"What?" He asked. I narrowed my eyes at him and leaned forward as if to pounce. His eyes widened in shock. When he didn't say anything for a while I turned and started for home with a raised tail in defiance.
"I'll tell you my name if you tell me yours!" He called and I stopped to look back in curiosity. How the hell was I suppose to tell him my name?
So instead of thinking more about it I walked off toward home.
