Joella's POV

A few weeks later

"Hey hey!" I heard someone say in a excited tone as I messed around on the computer in front of me.

I sighed, I recognized that voice, and I really didn't want to face any of those guys. I slowly looked up from the computer at the receptionist desk but realized it wasn't who I thought it was. I actually didn't recognize this guy, but yet he knew me.

"Uhm, may I help you?" The guy standing there had dirty blonde shaggy hair, a beard and some prescription type glasses on. He almost looked homeless actually, except his clothes looked fresh. "Do you have an appointment or can I direct you somewhere else you need to go?"

He chuckled a little, "I am coming to do a few songs I've gotten written." He held up his notebook, "How are you?"

"I'm good, but sorry you have to have an appointment. We don't just let anyone into the recording booths just because they feel the need to want to record stuff." I tried being nice but it came out with a little bit of an attitude.

As I looked more into his eyes, something seemed oddly familiar about him but I couldn't place my finger on it as I racked my brain trying to figure it out.

"I know, this isn't my first time here." He looks at me and smirks, "You don't recognize me. I guess that makes sense." He looks at himself then back at me, "I have changed, kinda let myself go just a bit." He patted his stomach then sat his notebook down, "It's me Jimmy." He threw his arms out, trying to sound like the character Mario.

My eyes went wide as I stood up, "Jimmy? As in Jimmy Sullivan?"

Wait, that's why he seemed familiar. I couldn't believe my eyes. He really does look different.

"The one and only." He nods.

"Oh my gosh!" I came around the desk and hugged him, okay so maybe I really did miss all the guys and I actually missed his hugs so much. "You look so different, I'm sorry."

"It's okay." He chuckled as he hugged me back, "I've had the same look for years and was ready for a change." He said as we pulled away. "You're looking good Jo."

"Thanks." I sighed with a small smile.

"What time you out of here? Let's have dinner."

"I don't think that's a good idea." I shook my head as I sat back down at the desk.

As much as I would like to, I knew I couldn't do that.

"Oh come on, please." He sat his notebook down and folded his hands together under his chin and blinked a few times in a fast motion. "I miss you." He said like a kid would.

"Ugh fine." I grumbled, it's hard to turn down him after that look he just gave me, "I'm out of here at 5."

Plus no need to punish the rest of the guys for Matt's stupidity.

"Sweet." He clapped his hands then grabbed his notebook off the counter, "I'll be done by then."

"Wait." I called out as he started walk away, "You wrote some songs? Can I see?"

He shook his head, putting the notebook behind his back, "We did, but you can't see them, not yet anyways. Maybe during dinner I might let you."

"Awe fine be that way." I stuck my tongue out at him.

"I will." He winked and walked to the booth he had made a reservation for.

Something about Jimmy's aura didn't let me be upset or sad. He always brightened up the room with his good mood. I sighed as I rubbed my hands through my hair, part of me was hoping he wouldn't have certain company join him in the booth. But at the same time I was hoping any of the guys would, especially Matt.

Although, I don't know why I'd want to face him after what I seen through that diner window. He obviously don't care about me anymore and I'm partly to blame for that. I shouldn't have ignored him for so long and I hated myself for that. I wished I could turn back the hands of time and make things up with him.

"So what's been up with you?" Jimmy asked when we sat down for dinner.

"Nothing, just been working. What about you?" I shrugged one shoulder.

"Same really." He shrugged, "Matt's getting married."

I looked at him with a surprised but yet hurtful expression, thinking he meant Matt and Val. They got back together and now they're getting married that quick? Wow, now I see how much I didn't mean to him. I quickly blinked back tears, I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

"Matt Berry I mean, him and Tiffany are finally tying the knot." He said breaking me out of my thoughts.

I nodded once as I let out a small breath that I didn't realize I was holding in, "That's amazing. They've been together for a few years haven't they?"

"Yup." He nods, "Around 3 years, give or take."

"When's that supposed to happen?"

"Well they wanted a Christmas wedding. But instead of actually on Christmas they're having it a couple days after. You should come." He then told me all the details of it, like when and where it was.

"Yeah no, I wasn't invited anyways. Which is okay." I shrugged with a smile.

Which was true, I hadn't seen a wedding invite from them, or maybe I did get one in the mail and it wasn't given to me. I'll have to ask my parents about it. Although, I don't know if I could show up even if I was invited. It might make make things harder, to see everyone happy in life while I'm miserable.

Instead of taking two cars to dinner, we had just taken Jimmy's car. After dinner he said he'd take me to my car but instead, he drove right past the road to the studio.

"Uh Jimbo, you passed the studio." I pointed with my thumb.

"I know, something needs to be done before I take you back to your car."
