19:55, 25 October 2022Since Matt and Brian had a interview talking about the new album that was going to be released, Joella decided to go hang out with Jimmy until they were done since he was the only one that had nothing planned because Zacky was busy with the V.U. line and Johnny had plans with Lacey.
Matt's POV
Once Brian and me walked in, we seen Joella dancing around the living room.
"Hey! You're back!" She grinned walking over to us.
"Hey baby." I smiled, kissing her.
"Woo." She giggled rubbing my cheek, "You're really soft, almost like a baby's bottom."
"Well then." I chuckled, I've never heard anyone say that about my face before.
She then turns to Brian, "You know what? You're really pretty."
"Pretty?" Brian smirked with an eyebrow raised.
"Mhm." She nods, "You've got the long hair." She pulls on the ends of his hair some then grabs his chin hair gently, "I bet if you got rid of this and Michelle puts some makeup on you and and you wear a dress you would make a pretty woman." She giggled. "Well I mean you already do the eyeliner thing."
"What the fuck?" We couldn't help but laugh, "But there's one problem with that, I don't have boobs."
"Oh sure you do! You're just flat chested." She giggled as she lightly smacked his nipples through his chest.
"Holy shit." Brian cracked up.
"Babe? You okay?" I chuckled, "I've never seen you like this before." She loves to Crack jokes but not like this.
"I'm ggrreeaatt!" She exclaimed as she threw her hands up and twirled around but lost her balance, luckily I was able catch her before she hit the floor, "Oopsie!"
Just then Jimmy walked in, "Oh hey, I thought I was hearing you guys."
"Jimbo is my friend now." Joella grinned as I let her go since she had her balance back.
"Jimmy, man, what's wrong with her? She's never acted like this before. Has she taken anything?" Brian chuckled.
"Well yeah." He nodded, "Earlier we ate some shrooms and then ate some brownies that had weed in in it." He smirked.
"Are you shitting me? Dude she's a fucking recovering addict man!" I quickly went to take a step towards him but Brian stepped in front of me before I could get to him.
I wasn't going to hit him, I could never do that. It just irritated me he would allow her to do that after everything she been through.
"Oh relax Matty boy, I'm fine." She patted my shoulder blade.
"I'm, I'm sorry I didn't know." Jimmy threw his hands up.
"Matt, chill, what they did isn't addictive. It's not like the harder stuff that she was on. She'll be okay, I promise you."
I sighed running my hand over my head, "Yeah, you're right. I'm sorry Jimmy."
Shit, I don't know why I freaked out like that. I should have known what they did wasnt bad, Jimmy does it all the time.
"It's okay, so it's bad I let her do that stuff with me?"
"No it's not." Brian says then looks at me, "It's not bad for the health I guarantee you."
"I know, I know." I nodded with a sigh.
"Jimbo! Where's my snacks you promised dang it." She stomped her foot like a little kid would and it made a smirk crept up on my face.
"Right there woman." He chuckled as he points to the table.
"Yay." She clapped and went to the table.
"Matt, do you still love me?" Jimmy gave me a cheesy grin.
He loves just randomly saying things like that though.
"Of course man." I chuckled.
"Then hug me brother!" He threw his arms out as he went closer to me.
We laughed as we hugged each other. I don't think I could ever stay mad at these guys for very long, they were more than friends, they were my family.
"Hey! I want some loving too." Joella said with her mouth full of candy.
"Then get in here." Jimmy waved her over which she gladly came over and joined the hug.
"Come on Gates, you might as well join in too." She giggled.
"Sure why not." He chuckled then we all shared a group hug.
"So much love!" Joella beamed.
"Oh, Larry called while you two were doing the interview thing. He's got a tour lined up for us to promote the new album." Jimmy stated once we broke away from the hug.
"Awesome." Brian smiled rubbing his hands together.
"How longs the tour gonna be?" Joella asked as she went back to her snacks.
"Depends on how many cities they want us to visit. Like the last one was pretty much half the year." I answered her.
"Half a year?! That's like 6 months on the road." Her eyes went wide.
"Yeah that's what a half a year is." Brian chuckled. "But the tours are fun, different city pretty much every night. And we're not performing every night though. Usually have of days where we're either traveling, doing interviews but there are days where we just get to hang out."
"Oh, awesome." She nods with a small smile. "When do you find out when the tour starts and how long it'll be this time?"
I could tell she was feeling a little down about the fact we'd be touring, but she should have known we would eventually. That's part of being in a band. Maybe she can come with us.
"Oh um." Jimmy scratches his jaw, "Tomorrow, Larry will fill us in at the meeting."
"Cool, good luck then." She linked her fingers together in front of her as she shrugged and smiled. But the smile looked almost fake, like it didn't even reach her eyes.
As the evening went on, I could tell something was bugging Joella just by her facial expressions. I decided to find out what it was, or at least attempt to anyways. I sat down next to her, put my arm around her shoulders and pulled her closer to my side.
"What's wrong? You feeling okay?" I asked softly in her ear.
"Nothing, I'm fine." She shook her head as she looked around.
"I can tell something is wrong." I ran my fingers through the back of her head.
"I said nothing is wrong, fuck." She groaned as she stood up then went out the back door.
I just sighed as I leaned my head back, "I swear." I said under my breath then stood up to go after her.
I knew if I didn't she might be mad at me more for it, seems that's how these women's minds work.
I got out back and I found her sitting in one of the lounge chairs and playing with the sand with her toes.
"Babe, we can go home if you're not feeling okay. Although if that's the case, it's probably all those sweets you ate earlier with Jimmy." I chuckled thinking of how much she had stuffed in her mouth, "He's a bad influence when it comes to that stuff." I kissed the top of her head.
"It's not that okay? I said I was fine, I'll get over it." She let out a sigh.
"Get over what?" I leaned down next to her and rest my hand on her thigh as I looked into her face.
"Nothing." She said a little harsh.
"Well excuse me, I was just trying to talk to my girl. Make sure she was okay because she didn't look well." I groaned as I stood up quickly.
"I'm sorry. And plus it's all stupid anyways."
"What is?" I looked at her confused
She stood up and threw her arms out, "The fact I'm thinking about this damn tour already okay? It's not even set in stone and yet here I am thinking about it because you'll be gone while I'll be here missing you."
I had a feeling that's what it was, her mood changed after we started talking about the possible tour coming up.
"What? Baby-" I wanted her to come with us if possible. We just got into a relationship, I don't want to be away from her long period of time if it could be helped.
"See how stupid it is to be thinking about that already?"
"Babe." I cupped her face, "That's not what I was going to say. I was going to say, how can you miss me if you come with us."
"Really? You want me to come with you? I just figured only the band and the road crew was allowed."
"Of course I want you to, our girls are definitely allowed. I'm sure the other guy's girls will come with them. They usually do."
"Okay." She smiled, "I uh, just have to make sure there's a replacement for me at the studio."
"Well yeah, that's too be expected. I'm sure they can maybe get an intern or something."
"Oh I'm sure." She smiled up at me.
"So is that all that was bugging you?"
"Yeah, it was."
