No One's POV

"So you and Joella huh?" Brian smirked bumping his shoulder against Matt's.

"Yeah." He smirked with a grin, "She's pretty amazing."

"Yeah she is, and I hear she took real good care of you and all your uh needs." Brian winked.

Matt was oblivious to what he was meaning, "That she did. She stayed there all week. Like I told her I've never had a woman do that besides my mom. Even Val never took that much care of me the other times I was sick, although I don't get sick very often but still you know?"

"Yeah." He dragged out then chuckled, "I gotta admit something to you though. Me and Jimmy we uh, we knew you was feeling better before we even talked to you. We kind of walked into the house to check on you ourselves and we heard how much better you were feeling." He smirked, when Matt just looked at him with raised eyebrows while giving him the 'what the fuck' look he continued, "Well it was more hearing Joella than you. And I don't know what you were doing to her but she was definitely enjoying it and making sure the world along with you knew." He chuckled.

"Man! You guys are unbelievable." Matt shook his head as he nudged him away. "Why the hell would you just walk into my house like that."

"Hey in our defense we knocked first. Then when we noticed the door unlocked that's when we walked in and heard her moans. We didn't know you two were going to be doing anything like that I swear. And we left right after I promise."

Matt just shook his head with a chuckle, it wasn't the first time they've walked in on each other with their girls and surely it wouldn't be the last time.

"So where is she anyways? She too weak to walk now so she's at home recovering?" He joked wiggling his eyebrows.

"Oh that's exactly why she's not here." He laughed then got serious with a shrug, "Nah man, I actually don't know. I woke up this morning and she had already left."

"No note or anything?" He looked at him confused.

"Nope." He shook his head, "I just figured she went home, I mean she did spend a week with me so it's okay. Don't want to smother each other." But Brian just blinked at him, "What?" Matt chuckled.

"Holy shit dude, I've never thought I'd hear you say something like that. From me." He pointed to himself. "Yeah but you. " He points at him, "No." He said as he laughed.

"I'm being serious though. Maybe if we don't spend every waking day together, spend some time apart it might make us stronger as a couple, you know? That was the problem with Val and me. We practically spent every day with each other. Never really spent time away from each other, except a few hours here and there but never a whole day. And then when her career took off, which is amazing she's living her dream don't get me wrong. But we went from being with each other every day, almost all day for years to never really seeing each other and it weakened what we had. And Joella, she's different, I don't want what we have to get messed up, I want it to last."

"Wow man, that's deep." He patted Matt's shoulder blade, "So do you love her already?"

"Love? I wouldn't say that, I think it's too soon for all of that. I mean I guess yeah I love her personality, who she is as a person but to come out and actually say I love her." Matt shook his head, "We're just starting out, I'm not going to ruin it by saying those words too soon. I care a lot about her sure, but it can't be love yet." He shook his head again.

"Hey, love works in mysterious ways. It hits when we least expect it to. You may think it's too soon but you can't deny it if it's actually there. I've seen how you two always looked at each other since we've been around her. It's like your eyes twinkle as the saying goes. And honestly I've never seen you look at Val the way you've looked at her. I mean obviously there was something there with Val but not like this man."

"I don't know." He rubbed the back of his neck, "She definitely is special, Joella, I mean."

"Hey, you guys ready to finish this shit or what? Thankfully we only have a few more songs to finish mixing." Zacky stepped outside to where Brian and Matt was having a smoke break.

"Of course we are man!" Brian beamed.

They then went inside to finish what they needed.

By the next day Matt hadn't heard much from Joella. He had messaged her but all he got was a 'I'm fine, don't worry, I'll message you later'. So the day after he still hadn't heard from her, he got frustrated, he thought maybe because what happened the day after he was fully better that she didn't want anything to do with him.

"What's got your panties in a bunch." Jimmy chuckled after he showed up at Matt's place.

"Man fuck you." Matt rolled his eyes, "I'm not in the mood for your jokes."

"Hey Woah." He threw his hands up in defense, "My bad, but seriously, what's wrong? I haven't seen you frustrated like this in a long while man."

Matt just shook his head with a sigh, "Nothing man." He didn't want to bore him with his problems even though he was the type that wouldn't care, he would be more than happy to listen.

"Bullshit Matt. I've known you since we were kids, I know when something is eating at you. So spill because you know I'm not going to let it drop until you tell me. You can't keep that shit bottle up, it'll eat you alive."

"I know." He grumbled and fell back against the couch, putting his head on the back of it and looked up at the ceiling.

Jimmy sat in one of the chairs, "Talk to Dr. Sullivan, what's bugging Mr. Sanders today." He crossed his leg over the other the one and folded his hands on his knee.

Matt couldn't help but chuckle, "Man Jimmy, you're something else."

"I know." He grinned, "That's why you all love me. Now spill." He snapped his fingers then put his hand back on his knee.

"I have this feeling Joella doesn't want to be around me. I just, I have this feeling I scared her off."

"How so? I mean she took care of you for a week when she didn't have to. So how did you possibly scare her off?"

He took a deep breath, rubbing his fingers on his eyes, "You'll just laugh I know it."

"No I won't, I promise. Scouts honor." He held his hand up then put it down.

He gave him a stern look, "You can't breath a word about this man, I mean it. This is to stay between us." He pointed a finger at him with a glare. When Jimmy promised not to say anything, Matt continued, "The day after I was fully better, I had asked her to be my girl, officially. She pretty much said yes. Well we took a shower together and she uh she went down on me, if you know what I mean." Jimmy nodded with a hint of a smile, "After I was uh satisfied, that was the end of it. Meaning." He stuck his index finger up then slowly bent it.

"Seriously?" Jimmy put his hand over his mouth to refrain from laughing at his friend then spoke, "But me and Brian, we heard.."

He cut him off, "Yeah I know he told me. But Jimmy that's wasn't from this." He motioned to his waist, "I felt bad because of it. I just couldn't leave her hanging despite her saying it didn't bug her. So I basically returned the satisfaction by going down on her."

"Well at least you gave her something. Look, you haven't heard from her through the phone. So what's stopping your from going to her place? Go check on her. She went days from hearing from you, so I forced her to go see why she hadn't. So do the same with her."

"Yeah, I guess you're right man." Matt said with a nod.
