Sorry I was still coming up with soemthing in this chapter saurrr.
I'ma just add a few things I missed
he weeks after that bittersweet night with Eric moved too fast -like the whole world had pressed a fast-forward button and forgot to warn Korina.
One minute, she was sharing smiles with Eric, feeling hopeful about the future. The next, she was watching two worlds she cared about crash into each other at full speed.
It started quietly.Just whispers around the city.Snoop had called her one night, his voice low and serious.
"Look, Kori... this Dre and Eazy shit?" he said, pausing like he didn't even wanna say it out loud. "It's 'bout to get ugly."
She didn't wanna believe it.She didn't wanna choose sides.
But by the time Dre dropped "Dre Day," there was no more pretending.
Korina sat on the floor of her bedroom that night, lights off, the soft hum of the TV flickering in the background. Her phone in one hand, the other hand resting protectively over her belly.
The beat hit first - smooth, cold, taunting.
Then the lyrics started.Bar after bar aimed straight at Eazy.Mocking him.Calling him names.Dragging him through the mud.
Korina felt her stomach twist up - and it wasn't the pregnancy this time.
Part of her - the part that still felt loyalty to Dre and Snoop and the life they all came up through - understood Dre's anger. She knew Eazy had made mistakes.Had hurt people.
But another part of her...The part that had seen Eazy cry over the ultrasound picture, the part that had seen him beam with pride when Erin called her "Mommy Kori"...felt nothing but fierce, protective loyalty.
This wasn't just about business anymore. This was about family.
Her family.
Things didn't stop there.
It was like once the beef hit the streets, everyone started picking sides.
And Suge Knight? He saw an opportunity.
At first, Korina thought she was imagining it - the way Suge kept popping up at places he usually didn't.Industry events.Small shows.Even once, a random grocery store parking lot.
The message was clear:He was watching her.
Then came the "invitation."A "friendly" meeting, passed through a mutual friend.
"You could be the next big thing," Suge's message said."Let's talk."
Korina knew better than to meet him alone. She agreed to a busy public spot - a diner where everybody knew her face.
Suge showed up in blood-red leather, gold chains clinking, a shark smile on his face.
He slid into the booth across from her like he owned the world.
"You don't gotta stay tied to Eazy," he said smoothly."You bigger than that. Bigger than him."
Korina stared at him, saying nothing.
Suge leaned in, voice dropping low.
"I could get you exposure," he said. "Real exposure. Billboard covers. Late night TV. Your own damn label one day."
He smiled wide, flashing gold teeth.
"And protection," he added, like it was an afterthought.
Korina's stomach turned.
The way he said it - like she needed protection from Eazy. From Dre.From everyone but him.
She forced a polite smile, heart pounding.
"Appreciate the offer," she said carefully. "But I'm good where I'm at."
Suge stared at her, the smile slipping for a second -just enough to see the cold underneath.
Finally, he chuckled, sliding out of the booth.
"Suit yourself, lil mama," he said."But don't say I didn't warn you."
He left without looking back.
Korina sat frozen for a long time, her coffee cold in her hands.
Her gut told her one thing:She had just made a powerful enemy.
The next few weeks were brutal.
The rumors started.
Magazine covers called her "Eazy's Mistake."
Anonymous tips to radio shows accused her of sleeping her way into fame.Bloggers mocked her pregnancy, joked about "baby mamas chasing clout."
Korina tried to tune it out.Tried to stay focused on her baby boy.
But late at night, lying awake with her belly tight and sore, it was hard not to let the words seep in.
Maybe they were right.Maybe she was messy.Maybe she didn't deserve any of it.
The only bright spot was Eric.
Despite everything, he showed up for her - in ways that mattered.
Phone calls.Ultrasound appointments.Random flowers delivered to her door with no note.
He was trying.Really trying.
One afternoon, after another brutal headline dropped, Eric showed up unannounced.
He didn't say anything.Just pulled her into a hug so tight it squeezed the breath out of her.
"You don't gotta listen to none of that shit," he murmured against her hair."They don't know you like I do."
Korina cried into his shirt, letting herself be held.
For the first time in a long time...she let herself believe she wasn't alone.
A few days later, Eric kept his promise -He introduced her to one of his other kids.
Erin - a bright-eyed, sweet little girl with dimples just like her daddy.
Erin ran up to Korina at the park, throwing tiny arms around her waist.
"You're the music lady!" she squealed.
Korina laughed, heart melting.
"I guess I am," she said.
Erin pulled back, beaming.
"You're way better than the last one!" she said matter-of-factly."She was mean. You're my favorite!"
Eric choked on his laughter, and Korina covered her mouth, trying not to burst out laughing herself.
Later, while they sat on the grass watching Erin chase bubbles, Eric nudged her.
"I never told you," he said quietly."I got six kids."
Korina blinked, caught off-guard.
Six?
She tried to keep her face calm, tried not to show the little sting she felt. Not jealousy - just... surprise.
Eric must've seen it anyway, because he laughed awkwardly.
"You ain't know?"
Korina shook her head, smiling faintly.
"I didn't know back then," she admitted. "But... it doesn't matter now."
He studied her for a second, serious.
"You good with that?" he asked. "All this... the mess... the history?"
Korina looked at Erin, laughing in the sun.Thought about the life kicking inside her belly.Thought about the weird, beautiful, messy family they were building.
She smiled softly.
"Yeah," she said. "I'm good."
Later that night, curled up on the couch, they talked about names again.
Eric ran a hand over her belly, his rough fingers surprisingly gentle.
"I was thinkin'... we should name him something special," he said."Something that's a lil piece of both of us."
Korina tilted her head, curious.
He grinned.
"Kory Lynn Wright," he said proudly.
Korina's heart squeezed tight.
It was perfect.
Kory - like her.Lynn - soft and timeless.Wright - his name, strong and steady.
She smiled through tears she didn't even try to hide.
"I love it," she whispered.
Eric leaned in, bumping his forehead gently against hers.
"Me too," he said, voice low.
The mood lightened -Playful, flirty, familiar.
He joked about building bunk beds for all the kids. She teased him about needing a bigger car.
They laughed so much her stomach hurt.
For a few precious hours, it was just them -no beef, no headlines, no Suge Knight lurking in the shadows.
Just Korina, Eric, and the little life they had made together.
And for the first time in a long time,Korina felt hope blooming inside her -wild and fierce and unstoppable.
