(I wouldn't say this is the exact song but plz pretend it was like a Collab between the two artists)

The buzz was growing. Slowly at first, but undeniably-One More Chance was picking up steam. The music video with Ice Cube had just dropped, and it was making waves. Fans couldn't stop talking about the chemistry between me and Cube, something that felt so natural on screen. People were shipping us like crazy, speculating whether we were more than just collaborators. But I wasn't fazed by the attention-at least not at first.

The internet was flooded with compliments, not just about the song, but about the visuals. I was getting recognized not only for my voice but for my presence on screen. The bright lights, the energy, the way Cube and I seemed to flow together-it was a vibe. Fans were calling us the new power duo, and I couldn't deny the thrill I felt every time I saw another tweet or comment about it. We were on fire.

But there was something else simmering in the background that I hadn't quite picked up on yet-something I should've seen coming.

A few days after the video had dropped, I found myself in the studio with Cube and Jerry. We were talking about next steps, strategizing how to keep the momentum going. Jerry was leaning in, giving us both his business face, but there was a gleam in his eye that told me this wasn't just about business.

"Listen," Jerry started, glancing between Cube and me, "the buzz is insane. You two are catching fire. Now, I know the fans are loving the energy, the chemistry, everything. So, why not capitalize on it? Make it official. Make it public. Let them know this is more than just music."

Cube leaned back in his chair, his arms crossed, but there was a grin tugging at the corner of his mouth. "I mean, the fans are already on that tip. They're practically running the show. I didn't think it'd get this big this fast."

I raised an eyebrow. "What are you saying exactly?"

Jerry cut in before Cube could respond, his voice low and serious. "I'm talking about making a public statement. You two are giving people what they want. The chemistry, the vibe-it's undeniable. If you let the fans in on it, they'll get even more attached to your brand. We could go full force with it."

I looked over at Cube, unsure what to think. It wasn't just the professional side of me that was being cautious. Something about making it public felt...personal. Too personal. Sure, there was undeniable chemistry between Cube and me, but did I really want to put that out there for the whole world to see? I wasn't sure.

"I'm not so sure about all that, Jerry," I said, my voice careful. "We're already getting attention, but do we really want to stir that pot?"

Cube tilted his head, considering it for a moment before responding. "It's not like we're hiding anything. If the fans are already talking, maybe it's time we let them know what's real. Besides," he added with a wink, "there's something about being that public couple-people eat it up."

Jerry's eyes lit up. "Exactly. Let them fantasize. Let them invest in the story. That's where the money is. You two could go places, but you've got to let the story unfold."

There was a pause as the conversation hung in the air. Cube looked at me again, waiting for me to make up my mind.

I glanced at Jerry, then back at Cube. "I don't know, man. I'm not sure if I'm ready to throw all of that into the spotlight."

But before Jerry or Cube could respond, the studio door opened, and in walked Eazy-E, his usual swagger filling the room. He immediately noticed the mood in the air, and the playful energy of the conversation took a sudden turn. Eazy wasn't one for small talk, and the tension between him and Cube had been building for a while. But there was something different in his eyes this time-something that wasn't just about business.

He walked right up to me, glancing at Jerry and Cube, then turned to me with a frown. "I heard what you guys were talking about. You really think putting that out there is a good idea?"

I froze for a moment, unsure of how to respond. I had always thought Eazy had my back, but the tone of his voice made it clear he wasn't on board with whatever Jerry had been suggesting.

"Uh, we were just discussing the possibility," I said carefully, trying not to make the situation more tense than it already was.

Eazy shot me a look-sharp, almost disappointed. "Possibility? What, you're about to turn this whole thing into a damn soap opera?" He didn't look at me when he said it, his eyes fixed on Jerry. "You really think the fans want that? They want to see a story, not some fake-ass drama."

I could feel Cube tense up next to me. "Come on, Eazy," Cube said, his voice calm but firm. "It's just a suggestion. The fans want to see what's going on. They're already talking about it, so why not give them something to sink their teeth into?"

Eazy shook his head. "No. This is different. You guys don't get it. She's more than just some girl in a video. She's got talent. This whole thing," he waved a hand between Cube and me, "this whole 'public couple' thing-it's too much. It's gonna overshadow everything she's worked for. And that's the last thing she needs."

The words stung. I wasn't sure how to take them. Was he right? Did I really want to be known for some on-screen romance, or did I want my music and my work to speak for itself?

Cube sighed, clearly frustrated. "Eazy, you've gotta understand. We're just trying to make sure she's set up for the long run. This is about branding, about making sure she's relevant."

Eazy turned to me, his expression softening just a little. "Look, I get it. You're young, you're talented, but you can't let the hype distract you. People are gonna start talking about you, not your music. And once that happens, it's hard to get them to focus back on what really matters."

There was silence for a long moment. I glanced at Cube, then back to Eazy. I didn't want to upset anyone, but I couldn't help feeling like they were trying to dictate how my career would unfold.

"So, what, you're telling me not to take a chance?" I asked, my voice steady but questioning.

Eazy's eyes softened, and for the first time in the conversation, he reached out and placed a hand on my shoulder. "I'm telling you to think about it. This isn't about me, it's about you. You're bigger than all this drama. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise."

I nodded slowly, the weight of his words sinking in.

The tension in the room was thick, but there was something about the quiet that felt calming. Finally, Cube broke the silence.

"You know what, Eazy's right," Cube said, his tone more thoughtful now. "But Korina, if you decide to go for it, just know we've got your back. We'll make it work. No matter what you choose."

I took a deep breath, then turned to both of them. "Thanks. I'll think about it."

Later that day, Cube and I were heading back from a quick dinner at a nearby spot, trying to clear our heads after the intense conversation. As we walked back into the studio, I noticed Eazy sitting off to the side, almost brooding. He was quiet, unusually so, and I couldn't shake the feeling that something was off.

I stopped for a second and looked over at Cube, then back at Eazy. The tension from earlier had clearly followed us back, and I could feel my stomach knot up with unease. Something was wrong.

"Hey," I called to Eazy, taking a few steps toward him. "You alright?"

At first, Eazy didn't say anything. He just sat there, staring at the floor, before looking up at me, his eyes distant.

"What's the deal, Eazy?" I asked, my voice softer now. "You've been quiet ever since we got back."

Eazy hesitated, then let out a sigh. "I'm just trying to figure out what the hell's going on," he muttered. "It's not just about the music anymore, is it? It's all becoming about you and Cube, the hype, the fans... I'm just trying to protect you, Korina. You don't need to be dragged into all this circus stuff."

I blinked, feeling a lump form in my throat. "You're upset because of the whole Cube thing, right?"

Eazy didn't answer immediately. He shifted in his seat, looking at me with a mixture of concern and frustration. "You and Cube... It's not just business, is it? It feels like you're letting the fans run the show, and I don't like it."

I felt my heart rate pick up, but I stayed calm. "Look, Eazy, I'm not trying to hurt anyone. But this is my career, too. I have to make decisions for myself."

Eazy stood up, walked over to me, and placed a hand on my shoulder, his expression now a mix of protectiveness and affection. "I just want you to succeed, Korina. And if that means stepping back from all this nonsense with Cube, then I'll support you. Just don't let it take away from what you're really about."

I nodded, finally understanding where he was coming from. There was a lot I had to figure out, but one thing was clear: I had to make my own path, and I couldn't let anyone-even the people who cared about me-determine it for me.

With a deep breath, I looked at Eazy. "I hear you. Thanks for looking out for me."

Eazy smiled slightly, his eyes softening. "You got this. Just don't forget who you are."

As I walked away, Cube followed me, his usual easygoing demeanor returning. "You good?" he asked.

I nodded. "Yeah. Just had to clear some stuff up."

And as I glanced back one last time, I realized something. No matter how the public or anyone else felt about me and Cube, my path was mine to choose. And that was all that really mattered.

The chapter ended, but the journey was just beginning.
