KIHYUN POV

FLASHBACK

"Hurry Krylne! This way" Mother said

We ran inside a room in the castle and closed the door.

"I think we'll be safe here.." Mother said

"I hope so.." I said

The door broked down.

Mother placed me behind her back, covering me.

"He's here" A woman said

"Are you Krylne Astaroth?" A man asked

"N-No he's not! Leave!" Mother said

"We're not asking you" The man said

The man and woman didn't seem like bad people.. although they wore strange clothing..

"I'm Krylne Astaroth... What do you want with me?" I asked

"Krylne!" Mother shouted

"Sorry but we can't allow you to live. You bear Satan's genes which has a dangerous substance inside" The woman said

"Satan genes?" Mother asked

"My father.." I said

Just speaking of him makes me digusted.

"It's called the Satanic side. It's like another demon inside you which is purely evil. It can cause you to lose control of your body if you were to accidentally activate it. Before it happens, we have to cease this power" The man said

"No! You won't have him!" Mother shouted as she hugged me

"Sorry but we have to. Before Satan realises what Krylne is, we have to dispose him. Forgive us little one" The woman said

The couple took out their swords which pulsated

I felt a dangerous vibe flowing out from the sword..

"Krylne, listen to me. There's a trapdoor underneath the mat over there. It will lead to an underground tunnel to a room which leads out to the forest. As I distract the exorcists, you run. Understand?" Mother whispered

What do I do..

I can't do anything..

I'm still weak..

At this rate, Mother will..

"Leave us alone" I said

"Krylne?" Mother called

"His aura changed.." The woman said

"It's too late! It's him. The Satanic side has activated" The man said

I bit my finger, letting blood drip.

A sword formed out of my blood.

"Now, let's have fun shall we?" I said

I walked towards the couple.

Wait.. What are you doing?

Killing them, what else?

Wait! Don't do that!

I swung my sword at them.

The man was attacking me as well however..

It was obvious who was winning.

Before I knew it, the man's shoulder was bleeding..

He dropped his sword from his hand.

"You'll pay for that!" The woman said, running at me

No.. Run away. Don't fight him. He'll kill you..

I swung my sword, hitting the sword out of her hand..

I smiled.

"Die you worthless human" I said

"K-Krylne, stop!" Mother said holding me back

The woman carried the man on her back and jumped out of the window..

"They got away.." I said

Okay, you protected my mother. Now give me back my body

Tch.. You think I'll give it back--

Give it back!

What the--Hey!

I looked at my hands and clenched it.

"I have it back.." I muttered

But for some reason, I still feel power and strength flowing in me..

That's because you forced me back into your consciousness.. Tch, what a pest. You now have some of my powers and speed..

"Mother.. I'm back" I said

"K-Krylne.." Mother said

I hugged her..

"My.. Son"

Son?

I turned around..

It's him..

I glared at him.

"Are you here to hurt Mother as well?" I asked

He chuckled.

"Why would you care for that weakling behind you? Kirianne, you're pathetic"

"My lord.. I--" Mother said

"Watch your mouth! That's not anyway for you to say that to your wife!" I shouted

"Big words coming from a little boy. Let me tell you something Krylne. I never once loved your mother. I simply needed her as she could someday give birth to my next successor. And she did it"

"You... used Mother?" I asked

"So what if I did?"

I felt hatred overtaking me..

I pickd up the sword that was made from my blood..

I quicky ran up to Him and slashed it.

"K-Krylne!" Mother called

I backed away from Him.

Blood dripped down his cheek..

"Krylne.... You dare attack your Father?"

"Father... Those are funny words coming from you. If I remember correctly, there was never a day where you classified me and Kronos's relationship with you as Father and Son" I glared

"I see.. Very well. I'll permit into calling you my son however I will not accept Kronos"

"Tch! You bastar--" I growled

"And because you disobeyed me. You'll need to get punished"

He picked up the sword that the exorcist left...

"This would hurt but you'll heal soon enough since you possess my genes"

He raise the sword in the air..

Crap...

"NO!!" Mother shouted

My eyes widened as mother ran in front of me..

"M-Mother!!!" I shouted

"Kirianne.. Don't get in the way. This is between me and Krylne"

"I-I... had it with you. I will.. not let you touch my son!" Mother shouted

She chanted a spell, sending him somewhere else..

"Mother! Are you okay? You're..." I said

Mother stood up carefully and dragged herself to the mat in the middle of the floor. She lifted the mat and there was the trapdoor.

"G-Go escape.. I'll go get Kronos" Mother said

"N-No! I won't leave you--" I said then Mother touched my forehead

"Drowse"

I suddenly lost my balance.

I felt Mother's arms around me.

She opened the trapdoor and placed me down at the bottom of the tunnel..

"Goodbye... my child" Mother cried

She shut the door..

I heard a thud..

"M-Mother?!"

That... voice...

Kronos....

My eyes grew heavy..

Mother...

JAERYEONG POV

"Ever since that day, I've been locked up in the detaining room due to my rebellious attitude towards Father. He doesn't trust that I would listen to him and he was right.. Because he wouldn't trust me, I hardly had any access to Humans until I learned about Contracts and Sacrifices" Kihyun said

So that's what Kihyun meant by.. Because his mother protected him, she died.

"So Father was the one the entire time. That's..." Kronos said

I noticed him clenching his fists..

Kronos sighed then looked at me.

"Do you wish to return to the Human world?" Kronos asked

"O-Oh.. Um.. Yes" I said

"Then leave. Before I change my mind" Kronos said

I smiled..

"You really are a nice person Kronos" I said

"Shall we leave now?" Wonho asked

"Wait, may I come back here and visit?" I asked

Kihyun looked at me with a horrid look.

"Are you mad?! You were kidnapped by the people here and you want to visit?" Kihyun exclaimed

I nodded.

"So can I?" I asked

Kronos looked at me with a smile.

"I don't see any harm of doing that. I'll also visit the human world someday" Kronos said

"You need a human name though" Wonho said

"I know and I have one" Kronos said

"What?! Since when?" Kihyun asked

"Apparently, my name is Im Changkyun. Mother gave it to me. I hardly used it though" Kronos said

"L-Let's leave! This place is getting on my nerves" Kihyun said

"Haha, sure. Wonho, please tell Avery and Delancey that I'm safe and I'll be back to visit. Or they can come and visit" I said

"Sure thing. Master, I'll be going to the Ymenos Castle" Wonho said

"Whatever. I don't care" Kihyun said

Wonho chuckled and disappeared into thin air..

He teleported huh?

Dang, I wish I could too.

"Good luck cleaning up the bodies Kronos" Kihyun smirked

"You son of a Satan" Kronos said

"You took the words straight out of my mouth, Brother" Kihyun chuckled

"This little punk.." Kronos chuckled

I smiled..

They're seriously are brothers..

Kihyun held my hand.

"Let's go home" Kihyun smiled

"Yeah!" I smiled
