"That demon you're contracted with is Krylne Astaroth, The 2nd Prince of the Demon Realm! He is also my fiance!" Avery said

"......2nd Prince? Fiance?" I said

"You're even more cluesless than I thought. Looks like Krylne never told you..." Avery chuckled

...Now that I think about it, Kihyun never told me anything about himself..

"Looks like I'll be the one telling you" Avery said then bended down

"That 'Kihyun' guy's real name is Krylne Astaroth. He's the 2nd Prince Of The Demon Realm. The son of Satan" Avery said

My eyes widened

"Son... of Satan?" I said

Kihyun? Someone like him is the Son of The Satan? No way..

"He's also engaged to me, Avery Ymenos. Meaning, I'm his fiance and that he'll marry me! So you better back off human" Avery glared

"B-Back off? Wait, what do you--" I said

<KNOCK KNOCK>

"Come in" Avery said

The door opened and I saw a maid..

"Excuse me Princess--Oh my! Is that.. a human?" The maid said

"Perfect timing. Take her away to...Delancey's room. Make sure no one sees her. Only Delancey and I can" Avery said

Delancey? Who's that..

"Princess, what are you planning to do with this.. human?" The maid asked

"I'm gonna kill her of course.. For stealing Krylne away from me!" Avery said

"Sir Krylne?" The maid gasped

"Wait! I didn't do anything of that sort!" I said

"Shut up. I'll be giving you a week to live. After that week, your life ends. Have fun" Avery said

My eyes widened..

....I'm.. gonna die?

.......No, He'll come and save me..

"I won't die.. I believe.. Kihyun will come to save me" I said as I stood up

"Hah! Dumb human! Do you know what Krylne despises most? It's being caged! And whenever he returns here, he'll always be caged, locked away! As if he'll come back here to save you, a human!" Avery shouted

Kihyun... gets locked away?

"That's why.. I need to marry him. So I can grant him his wish. His Freedom. Something like this, humans will never understand!" Avery shouted

"Wait--" I said

"Take her away!" Avery shouted

The maid wrapped a cloth around my body and lifted me.

"Yah! Let me go!" I shouted

I felt the maid blocking my mouth with a hankerchief.

This smell...

It's making me feel..... so... drow..sy...

I closed my eyes..

I felt someone wiping my face..

I slowly opened my eyes and saw another beautiful girl..

She wore an eye-patch on her right eye..

"You're awake. That's good" The girl said

"Who... are you?" I asked

"Oh sorry. I didn't introduce myself. I'm Delancey" Delancey bowed

Delancey.. that name..

Ah! Right! I got up from the bed..

"Oh? My hand.. doesn't hurt" I said as I looked at it

It's... bandaged?

"Your hand was terribly injured by a Werewolf wasn't it?" Delancey said

"Did you.. treat my hand?" I asked

"Yes I did..." Delancey smiled as she grabbed my hand

....I feel like.. they're speaking another language.. but I can somehow understand it.

How strange..

I feel like.. I know this girl..

Wait, she does look familiar..

But where have I seen her?

Hmmmm....

<KNOCK KNOCK>

Delancey and I flinched.

"You need to hide!" Delancey said as she opened her cupboard

I ran inside and sat in there as she closed the cupboard.

I heard the door opening..

"Oh! C-Count Wynstro! What are you doing here? I thought you were in the human world" Delancey said

"Dani, stop calling me Count Wynstro. Call me by my human name"

"R-Right.. But I still feel.. it's rude in a way" Delancey said

"But we're both servants aren't we? You're Avery's maid and I'm Krylne's servant"

Krylne--I mean.. Kihyun's servant?

"You shouldn't address their names so informally Count Wynstro" Delancey said

"Hey, we were all childhood friends. The only difference is that.. us two.. got degraded for who we are. That's all"

Degraded? What does that person mean by that?

"Anyways, where is she? I know she's here!"

"W-Who are you speaking of?" Delancey asked

"Oh come on Dani! You know who I mean. I don't know her name but I met her today"

Wait a minute..

Now that I think ahout it..

This man's voice.. is similar to..

"Wait! Don't open tha--" Delancey said

I saw light coming in from the cupboard.

My eyes widened as I saw the person in front of me.

"OH! IT'S YOU! FROM THE CHINESE RESTAURANT" I gasped

"Yup! I told you we'll meet again! Need a hand?" The boy said as he lended out his hand

I grabbed it and he pulled me out of the cupboard.

His hands are... so cold and pale.

"Anyways, let me introduce myself. I'm Count Wynstro. As you can tell from my name and how I kinda look, I'm a vampire. You can call me by my human name which is Wonho" Wonho smiled

"Count Wynstr--" Delancey said

"It's Wonho thank you very much! And her human name which she rarely use is Dani" Wonho said

"H-Hey! You can't call me that" Delancey said

"Aww. Looks like Dani only wants me to call her that. I guess you have to call her Delancey then. Mianhe" Wonho said

"O-Oh kwenchana" I said

Oh? I'm speaking normally (korean)

"Did you notice? How you somehow just speak and it becomes a different language?" Wonho asked

"N-Neh" I said

"But if you think about speaking Korean, you'll just say it but in this world, everyone's required to speak Demonian" Wonho said

"Demonian?" I said

"Demon language" Delancey said

"I see.. I'm Kwon Jaeryeong. I don't have a demon name so.. um.. yeah. Just call me Jaeryeong" I said

"Haha. Okay! Anyways, nice to meet you! I'll need to go back to the human world and check up on Kihyun. He's quite.. hmm.. How do you say this? Out of control at the moment" Wonho said

Kihyun..

"Wonho! Can you pass a message to Kihyun for me?" I asked

"....Depends on what it is" Wonho said

"..Tell him, I'm fine and that I have a friend with me right now" I said

"I see.. that's all?" Wonho asked

"Neh.. I don't think I should tell him about when I'll get killed by Princess Avery" I said

"Alright then. Bye Jaeryeong and Dani" Wonho smiled then closed the door

"Don't call me that Wonho!" Delancey pouted

"You finally said my name!" Wonho shouted from outside

I chuckled.

"You guys are sure close" I said

"Yeah.. I guess. We all are" Delancey smiled

"You all? Princess Avery and Kihyun too?" I asked

"Yes. Us four.." Delancey said

"Oh! I just remembered" I said

"What is it?" Delancey asked

"I forgot to give this back to Wonho!" I said as I took out the keychain

Oh...?

I looked carefully at the photo..

Hey... wait a minute..

"That girl.. is you!" I gasped

Delancey looked at the photo.

".....He didn't add her in it" Delancey smiled

???

.....Her smile.. seemed painfully sad..

I wonder what she meant by that..

Well if I look carefully, it does seem like the picture is missing a piece..

"Delancey, will you.. explain to me.. about everything?" I asked

Delancey stayed quiet.

"Please, I wanted to know.. I can't stay clueless forever" I said

".......Alright. Since I'm now your friend right?" Delancey smiled

"Of course" I smiled

"I see... but you can't mention anything to Lady Avery" Delancey said

"Alright" I said
