Chapter 10

JAERYEONG POV

I slowly opened my eyes..

"Oh! TIME TO GO UNI--Oww!" I said, getting up from the bed then suddenly felt a flick on my forehead

"Rest at home geez" Kihyun said as he tightened his tie

"Kihyun.." I said

"Your hand's injured remember?" Kihyun said

"Oh.. right" I said looking at my hand

Kihyun sighed.

"Wait, where are you going?" I asked

"I'm gonna go UNI and ask the teachers for notes of today's lesson then I'll come back" Kihyun said

"Huh? Do you think the teachers would do that for you? UNI teachers aren't kind you know? If you miss a lesson, it's not their problem. They don't care!" I said

"Yeah so? I'll make them care. I'll just use my powers and make them make notes of today's lesson. Easy-peasy" Kihyun said

"Don't do that! Stay there at UNI and actually take notes for me. Don't use your hypnosis-whatever-powers against the teachers!" I said

"Just rest. Everything will be alright. I'll be back as soon as I can" Kihyun said

"Oi. You need to attend to UNI as well! You're a student" I said

"I don't care. What's the point of going UNI? It's not gonna help me in life. I'm a demon afterall" Kihyun said

Oh geez..

"I'll be back so rest. Don't be reckless and just stay in bed alright?" Kihyun asked

"Neh.." I said then laid down

Kihyun opened the door and left the room.

I guess I'll just go to sleep..

"NOT! Hah. As if I'll stay in bed!" I said as I got up

My hand still stings though..

Well whatever.

I got out of my room and went inside the bathroom.

I guess I should go shopping since I can't go UNI.

What should we have tonight?

...Feel like eating meat buns and steamed dumplings.

I went to a nearby chinese restaurant and ordered the food.

"What's a girl like you doing out here?" A boy asked

Woah.. he's good looking. And very pale..

"I'm here to buy food" I said

"No. That's not what I'm askin--" The boy said

"Number 512!" The waitress called

"Oh! That's me!" The boy said as he got up and grabbed his order

"There's no garlic in it right?" The boy asked

"Neh" The waitress said

"Ah! Kamsamnida" The boy bowed

He dislikes garlic? How sad..

"Oi. Next time we meet, I hope we can be friends! Byee" The boy smiled as he waved goodbye

I saw something drop.

I picked it up.

A keychain?

I went out of the restaurant and looked around.

"He's gone..." I said

I went back inside..

I looked at the keychain and saw a picture of a girl and a boy.

That boy's in it.. and who's that other girl?

"Order 516!" The waitress called

"Neh!" I said as I got my order

I took the food and walked home.

I looked at the keychain..

Well, I guess I can give it back to him..

The next time we meet I guess?

Although that's like.. A one in a million chance..

I sighed.

I saw my house and walked up to the door.

I took out my keys from my purse but my hand stinged, leading the keys to drop.

"Aish! Huh?" I said bending down to see my keys gone..

Where is it?

And why do I feel like.. I'm sinking through the floor?

Wait..

I looked down.

My eyes widened..

I AM SINKING THROUGH THE FLOOR!!!

"W-Wait! What is this?!" I exclaimed

I slammed my hands on the floor, trying to stop myself from sinking but it didn't work..

My bandaging came off, letting some of my blood drip off my hand..

A magic circle suddenly appeared around me..

"T-This is--" I said then frozed as I saw a girl's head emerging out of the floor

I screamed.

"Owww! Shut up human! My ears!" The girl snarled

"W-Who are you and why did you come out of the floor and why am I sinking into the floor?!!" I shouted

"You must be Krylne's contractor" The girl said

Krylne? Who?

"Anyways, I'm--" The girl said

"JAERYEONG!! And...." Kihyun shouted

"Avery?" Kihyun said

"Sorry Krylne but I'm taking her to the Demon Realm! If you really cherish her, come and save her" Avery smirked

"K-KIHYUN!!" I called

"Jaeryeong--" Kihyun shouted then my vision went out...

It's so dark..

Where am I?!

I felt someone grabbing my hand.

"K-Kihyun? Is that you?" I asked

"Nope. I'm Avery. Hold on tight if you don't want to be lost at The End punny human" Avery said

"The End? What's.. that?" I asked

"What? You don't even know what that is? Ughh. Wait. Of course. You're humans. You don't know anything about travelling through dimensions. Anyways, The End is a world between the Human World and the Demon Realm. However, in The End, there's nothing.. no time.. no space.. Nothing. Once you get stuck here, you're trapped forever" Avery said

"Oh.. Wow.. Thanks for the information" I said

"No prob--WAIT A MINUTE! Hey! Why are you trying to make it sound like we're friends?! I'm kidnapping you, trying to kill you here!" Avery shouted

"K-Kill me? Why!!" I shouted

"Heh. That's what you get for stealing away someone's groom" Avery said

"Mwoh? Groom?" I asked

"Hold on" Avery said as wings spreaded out from her back

I suddenly saw a light then saw another world.. filled with castles and land..

"This is the Demon Realm, human" Avery said

"It looks.. like the human world but Medieval Age" I said

It was nothing like I imagined.. I thought it'll look like Hell or something?

"Pfft! What? Don't you dare compare our beautiful land to your polluted trashy world" Avery said

"Our world is... not that polluted! It's beautiful!" I said

"Tch. Shut your mouth. We're entering my castle" Avery said

"Your castle?" I asked

Avery flew into a window which was a female's room..

She threw me onto the ground.

"Yah! Can't you be gentle Aver--" I shouted then she pointed a dagger at my throat

"Address me as Princess Avery, human!" Avery said

Princess?

...No wonder she owns a castle.

"You.. You took Krylne away from me! I won't let you get away with it!" Avery growled

"Like I said! Who are you talking about? Who is this.. Krylne?" I asked

"That demon you're contracted with is Krylne Astaroth, The 2nd Prince of the Demon Realm! He is also my fiance!" Avery said

"......2nd Prince? Fiance?"
