JAERYEONG POV

I slowly got up and yawned..

I felt a tug against my hips.

I looked down and saw Kihyun clinging onto me...

My eyes widened.

As I screamed, I pushed him away from me which made him fall off the bed as a result.

"Y-Yah.. what's wrong with you?" Kihyun asked as he wiped his eyes

"I would ask you the same thing pabo!" I exclaimed as I stood up

"I'm soo tired~ Let's go back to sleep" Kihyun said grabbing my arm

"W-Wait! Yah--" I said as he pulled me onto the bed

"What's with yo--" I asked as I turned to face him

"Shh... Be...Quiet" Kihyun mumbled as he placed his finger gently on my lips

O-Our faces are close..

I flicked his finger off my mouth and turned away.

"A-Alright.." I said

Kihyun rolled back under the blankets.

I closed my eyes.

........WAIT. HOLD UP.

"We have UNI today!" I said

"...In the afternoon" Kihyun said

"That's your class! I have mine in the morning then I have work!" I said

"Ughh... Can't you skip--" Kihyun whinged as he held onto me

"Don't ask for the impossible! This is real life" I said as I got out of bed

"Aish.. Why are humans so complicated?" Kihyun sighed

"Probably because a certain someone is driving me mad" I said

"I wonder.. who.." Kihyun muttered

💢 Wow. Aren't you a genius?

Arghh! I don't have time to be sitting here!

"Kwon Jaeryeong!" My teacher shouted

I flinched.

"N-Neh.." I replied

"Lately, you've been missing on alot of classes! Also, you're always coming in at the last minute! Why is that?!" The teacher scolded

"M-Mianhe.. It's just.. my pet dog won't stop clinging onto me in the morning.. so.." I muttered

"No excuses! These actions will not be tolerated, understood?" The teacher stated

"N-Neh Ms. I'm sorry.." I bowed

The teacher sighed then sent me back to my seat.

I slumped myself onto my table..

Ughh.. Why is life.. so.. difficult...

"Oh! He's here again?"

"Who?"

"Over there, out the school gates"

"Ohhh~ Why is he here? He doesn't have classes now right?"

"I'm not sure.. He's just always hanging around the gate"

Who are the girls gossiping about?

I snapped out of my thoughts and shook my head repeatedly..

I don't have time to be distracted! Need to concentrate.

UNI's finally over!!

Getting scolded by your teacher really tires you out (￣ ~ ￣) 💦

I headed towards the school gates.

"There he is!"

"Is he waiting for someone?"

"What?! But he was here since the morning!"

"Wow.. That person he's waiting for must be really special to him"

"Aww I thought he doesn't have a girlfriend.."

"Yeah.. He's good looking too. All the other boys here look like potatoes"

"Haha true~"

Ughh.. Again with the girls gossiping about some guy.

They're legit blocking the gates.. -_-

Like can you get out of the way?

Some of us would like to go home thanks.

I started to walk through but it was so crowded and squashy..

"E-Excuse me, I would like to get throu--" I said then was pushed down

Oww..

"Oh my god! He's coming towards us!"

The girls started to squeal.

The crowd started to clear a pathway..

Oh gosh, it's so sunny.. Can't see..

I noticed a shadow covering me.

The person lended out a hand to me.

"Kwenchana?"

"Oh. Kamsamnida!" I said grabbing the person's hand as I got up

I bowed to the person.

"Kamsamnida for helping me up. Oh! And mianhe for the trouble I caused...........you........." I said then realised it was Kihyun

". . . . . ."

"PFFFFFFFTT" Kihyun laughed

"Stop laughing already.. geez.." I said

Kihyun laughed harder and held onto his stomach.

"Yah! W-What's so funny?! Plus why did you come here??!!" I asked

"Y-You were being so polite--PFFTT. Hahaha. Anyways, I've come to pick you up" Kihyun said calming down

"P-Pick me up? Ermm.. Why?" I asked

"Why? Isn't that obvious?" Kihyun asked

"....Ohh. Cause I'm your contractor?" I guessed

"Precisely" Kihyun said

What a pain in the--

"Hey! Cussing is bad!" Kihyun said

"It was in my mind! Not that anyone can hear it" I said

"I CAN HEAR IT!" Kihyun shouted

"YEAH SO? YOU'RE A DEMON. DOES CUSSING EVEN MATTER TO YOU GUYS?!" I exclaimed

"Wait.. Aren't you suppose to go to work?" Kihyun reminded me

"Oh yeah! Byee" I said running away

"YAH! WAIT FOR ME" Kihyun shouted

"YOU HAVE UNI NOW. GO TO IT!" I demanded as I ran faster

"I have to be by your side. You're my contractor remember?" Kihyun said as he caught up to me

I stopped in my tracks.

"You don't have to be by my side! Just go to UNI!" I said

"I can't! I need to be with yo--" Kihyun said

"Just being far away from me isn't that bad! Also, work isn't that far from UNI so I think it would be okay if you were to go UNI" I said

"No! That's not the point! I need to be by your side to protect you from--" Kihyun said then abruptedly stopped speaking

"Protect me from.. what?" I asked

"....A-Anyways, I just need to be with you!" Kihyun said

"K-Kwenchana! Nothing bad will happen to me! Just go to UNI!" I said

"But then--" Kihyun said

"Kihyun, don't you trust me?" I asked

Kihyun paused..

"...I do.. trust you" Kihyun said

"Just for today then. Let's try being seperate from each other. If nothing happens then we can continue doing it. If something happens then I'll take your word and be by your side" I said

Kihyun stood there in thought.

"Kihyun.." I said

"..........Just... today alright?" Kihyun said

I smiled and nodded.

Kihyun slowly turned his back and walked off.

He took a few steps then looked back.

"Go! I'll be fine" I said

Kihyun looked worried.. but still went to UNI..

I smiled.

I went to work and greeted my manager.

"Let's do our best to sell more books okay?" The Manager said

"Neh!" I said

As I served many customers, I noticed a man who walked in the store and only wondered around the shelves... not buying anything..

Time to time, I could feel someone glancing at me.. but I could be wrong..

I just shrugged the thoughts off and continued with my work.

I went in the staffroom then saw the Manager.

"Jaeryeong, can you go put these books in the storage?" The Manager asked as he handed me a box filled with books

"Neh~" I said as I took it off him

"I'll place the boxes you need to put in the storage room right here on the desk. Take your time. I'll go take over your shift as you do it" The Manager said

"Neh" I replied

I carried a box to the storage room and placed it on the shelf.

Dust started to fly everywhere.

I started to sneeze.

I ran out of the storage room.

"Ugh.. so dusty" I said

"Kwenchana?"

I looked up and saw the man that lingered in our store..

"Oh.. eh.. Neh. Kwenchana" I said

There was a silence..

...Why do I feel.. so uncomfortable..

What is this.. uncertain.. fearful feeling?

"Um.. Excuse me. I need to go get more box--" I said but the man suddenly grabbed my wrist

"What's the rush? Didn't your manager said to Take Your Time?" The man said

My eyes widened..

How does.. he know that?

The Manager and I was talking in the staffroom that time..

No customer could have heard us!

"Ah. Look how beautiful the moon is today" The man said staring at the sky

The... Moon?

It's a full moon..

"Oh! Ummm.. Mian but can you let go?" I asked

"Hmm... Unfortunately, I can't. Cause today, I caught a prey that captured my attention" The man said

I pulled my wrist away then saw him emerging into a beastly creature..

He started to grow fur.. fangs... claws..

My eyes widened..

"No.. way.." I said

The creature stared at me with its cold, icy glare..

T-This can't be true..

No. If things... such as demons exists.. then..

<HOWL>

This creature can exist too..

"The Werewolf"
