Chapter 2

When she entered the class the next day.. Lucas waves to her from the back bench. She waved back and walked towards him . Everyone stared at them surprised.

" when did those two got closer..? "

" tch.. That bitch can even seduce lucas... ?!!!Like not any other boys but  lucas..?!!"

"I know right..? Even though he is the  hottest guy in our uni.. His charm is always staying alone .. Why he is suddenly showing interest in her..?"

The girls started gossiping but those two Sat on the back oblivious to everything fully drowned in their work.

"  Thanks.. you made our work  easier.. All we have to do is  visit  these arcades  at holidays and analyse them.. Compare their way of working.. Find out which one profit more and why.. right..? " she asked and he nodded a yes.

'he is smiling again..' she thought and looked around

'thanks goodness no one saw this or else the infirmary may get filled.."' she thought.

"what's wrong..?" he asked looking at her strange behaviour

"nothing.. You must have  like arcade so much huh..?" she said flipping the papers skimming through his notes. He stared at her surprised.

"why do you think I like arcade..?" he asked tilting his head

" you smile whenever we talk about arcade that's why.." she said playfully tapping his cheek  and smiled. his eyes wide in surprise .

'oops.. I did that out  of habit.. I always do this with helena.. Let's act cool..' she thought and turned her attention again on papers..

' I smiled..?' he thought his eyes fixated on her. The class suddenly got  noisy both of them looked at the crowd.

' It's ijekeil and his fangirls .. He came back huh.. He would  take  long absence from time to time saying he is going  abroad to  help his dad in business such a show off' athy thought and turned her focus again on papers.

Lucas stared at her with a amused expression.

'  it always picks my interest when she  shows zero Interest in whitey.. Why is that..? She also don't bother me like other  girls... It seems being with her isn't that annoying..its strangely comfortable.. '

He thought and his thoughts faded when athy asked him something and they dive into their studies again.

Ijekiel Sat on his place and stared at them gritting his teeth. When the classes are over athy was  on her way to treat herself with delicious brownies.. Her face was so bright just thinking about brownies...she hummed a song while walking.. Her happiness didn't last longer..

"athanasia.."

She heard her name and turned to see Kiel smiling at her with a thousand watts bulb turned on behind him..

"yes..?" she answered in monotone.

"are you fre"

" no I am busy as bee.. then.." she said and turned to walk again but he grabbed her hand.

"excuse me..?" athy said in irritated tone.

" sorry.. But please listen to me.. why do you always cut me off midway  not even letting me finish my sentence..?" he said in a pitiful tone..

'if he did this to other girls.. They would have been like.. Aww.. Such a sweet guy.. But I am not.. Yuck.. It's disgusting.. Don't act cute I hate it..'

she thought and tried to free her hand but his grip around her wrist is strong 

'this  jerk is doing this on  purpose isn't he..? Having such innocent face but grabbing my wrist this tight..' she got irritated. She was about to say something but she felt her hand got released from his grip and is covered by a warm big hand. She looked up to see lucas drilling a hole inside Kiel with his eyes.

" what are you doing..? Can't you see we are talking ..?" Kiel said in a pissed tone . Lucas gave him a smirk..

'is he born with that smirk..? I can't believe I got help from lucas..waah..

Her thought bubble burst and she looked below to see his hand holding her waist. He yanked her and his grip around her waist tightened...

She felt like her body is on fire.. Her heart beat so louder  that  it  echoed in her ears..

" as you can see.. We have some important things to do.. Can you piss off..?" he told in a mocking tone and  Kiel  glared at him so pissed.

'wow.. He has  a talent in making others pissed.. I never saw kiel  show his emotions like this.. He always wear a gentle boy smiley mask.. Look at his face now...' athy thought amused by his reaction.

he walked past them hitting lucas but he didn't even budged.. She  turned back and see  he was the one tripped after hitting him... I know this guy is hella strong.. I can tell from this grip..' she thought looking down.

'waah.. I thought she will slap me  the moment I hold her waist.. Thank goodness she saved my face.' lucas thought and sighed  in relief  he released her and she stared at him.

"you also hate him I see.." she mumbled. And he nodded a yes..

"yep  and sorry for suddenly holding you.." he said scratching his nape.

"  it's ok.. I know you did  that to piss him... You kinda  saved me too.. leave it.. "she  said waving her hand..

'she is smart.. She understood right away..' he thought and a small smile appeared on his face

" pfft.. I think I found something common  between us.. "she said and giggled.

'she is so cute while smiling.. Her cheeks are fluffy and her eyes curve like a half moon.. But she is so light and small.. I can lift her up in one hand..huh..? Wait ..Shit.. what the fuck am I thinking..?!!' he thought ad sighed.

" then.. See you.. "she said and walked forward.

' why he is so hot..?  yeah he is hot what I mean  is .. I am talking  about his temperature... It would feel so good to hug him on cold days he is like a bear.. Big and warm hehe.. Huh..?!! Are you a  pervert athy..?!! why are you thinking about hugging him..? Come to your senses... ' she thought and she suddenly bumped into something smooth

She looked up and saw him staring down at her.

"huh..?" she looked infront  of  her  and walked   a step back.. She was about  to hit her head on a pillar but lucas placed his hand and saved her.

" are you sleep walking princess ..?" he asked with a smirk.

' here he goes again.. I thought he was good and he showed this side immediately like begging me not to  change  my  opinion about him..Warm bear my ass .. He is a jerk athy.. A cocky jerk ... Don't forget ..' she thought pouting.

"yeah thank you my knight in shining armor for saving this princess.." she said animatedly and his smirk widened.

" it's ok .. Our princess is so  dumb  that  I have to save her from  opening her head into two  by hitting on  a pillar.." he said in a mocking tone

"you should have let me open  my head.. So that I can show you I have brain.. A smart one at that.." she said pouting..

'pfft.. She is pouting.. How old is she..? Five..? Look at that hamster cheeks..'

He squeezed her pouting cheeks and giggled.

"yeah.. I will let you do that next time.. Watch while you  are walking .. Dummy"

he said and walked back.. She stood there caressing her cheek blushing

' I was just curious how it feels to squeeze her cheeks but my hands really did that.. Geez.. I am going nuts.. !!Whatever..' he thought scratching  his nape and walked back.

"oh my.. What's going on here..?!! You got a smoking  hot boyfriend..?!! why didn't  you tell me.. You traitor..!!"

She heard  a dramatic voice and turned  to see helly standing there acting hurt.. Athy sighed and dragged her to the cafeteria.. She then explained  everything and helly smiled from ear to ear..

" you know what.. Just date him.. You two are perfect."she said grinning.

" perfect my ass... we are totally opposite "athy said frowning..

" opposite attracts you know..."

" shut up helly.. "athy said and she continued to tease her.

Athy's P. O. V.

Days went on, then.. Our   vacation started .. I was excited to meet lily..I packed my things and can't wait to meet lily tomorrow.. lucas suggested we should finish our project first then enjoy the vacation.. I also thought it's good and agreed..Now a days I and  lucas become a bit closer.. We bicker  all the times.. he is still so irritating.. But sometimes it's fun being with him.. He always tease me and almost all the time  we bicker.. but what I found amusing was.. he is caring... He drop me at home when it got late at night  and when I missed the  bus...

He has a cool bike which was  scary at first time ride  but now it's so fun  When he stood in front of my bakery waiting for me leaning on his bike.. I felt something stirring Insides of  my heart.. I am sure it's different from me stirring my dough..

I also Came to know more about him.. He work like four part time jobs that's crazy.. I realised I didn't know anything about him but hated him just because he look like a bad boy and act cocky .. He is also like me.. struggling to settle in life.. I thought he is rich just like how he thought of me.. But he isn't ,he is alone and work four jobs..strangely I  feel safe whenever  I am with him.. I am now afraid I will get addicted to that feeling..

I grabbed my purse and was about to open the door and go out.. I want to take a walk on the park.. but.. My heart beat suddenly raised and I am sweating.. My hands are trembling .. I dropped my purse  on the floor , my legs gave out and I fell on the floor..someone  is trying is to  open my front door.. What do I do..?  Is it that stalker..? He was silent for a while so I am happy he was gone.. But may be he isn't.. What do I do..?

I gathered all my strength in the body and stood up.. I slowly walked towards the door and checked the front camera.. My heart felt like it will drop down.. It's really him..i..i have to call the police... I ran towards my purse  and took out my phone.. My hands are trembling  like crazy.. I am scared.. I should have informed about him earlier.. I shouldn't have stayed careless like this.. There are so many thoughts running through my mind.. But when the other side answered the call..
