"i am in new york" i told her as i smiled.

"mom!" i heard raelyn chuckle and try to grab her phone back.

erin smacked her hand away and looked at me.

"what kind of cap is that" she narrowed her eyes. "it better be what i think it is"

"the one and only la dodgers" i chuckled while turning it around so you can see the logo.

"yeah okay that's what i thought" erin nodded and looked over at raelyn. "when the dodgers play we gotta go and bring your little girlfriend with us"

"bye" erin told me while raelyn snatched her phone back. "also don't act like i totally didn't see my daughters name embroidered on the side of the hat"

"where's your sister?" i asked her.

i was gonna say something but the door opened.

we stopped by a small coffee shop and stayed there to drink our coffee.

i sent raelyn some of pictures and let her choose which ones she likes for now.

we got on our bikes again and caught up to mom and dad. the four of us rode around and called it a day then went back to our hotel since it was getting dark.

raelyn and i talked on the phone until i got tired. i was trying my best to not fall asleep while she's still on call with me.

the line stayed quiet for a while. i got kinda sad that she might've hung up on me, so i fluttered my eyes open and saw rae staring at me with a cute little smile on her face.

"thought you hung up on me" i told her quietly when she noticed i was awake. "stop looking at me like that though, you always watch me when i sleep... creep"
